Housekeeping needs to improve more cleanliness and sanitation in each room. The pool area is dirty and needs a massive cleaning and the flooring is horrible. Affordable prices but needs more staffing sanitation

This was one of the most disappointing and disgusting hotels we have ever stayed in. Our room was unfit for visitors. We are Hilton diamond members and we were treated terribly. From the moment we arrived it was clear. I'll let pictures speak for themselves. We were promptly and discourteously ignored by management the entire time we were there - we witnessed rudeness to other guests from a variety of rotating staff members. I rarely leave reviews like this so heed caution and stay far away.

Dresser? The large one is the fridge. No other drawers besides the bedside table.

My room was weird smelling. The shower looked kind of gross (attached picture). The tv kept cutting in and out of sound. They initially gave me the wrong room number with my room key. When I got the new room number from the front desk after going back to the lobby, the associate said "Call me from the hall phone if these don't work." The microwave platform doesn't fit the actual microwave. There was no dresser, just 2 small drawers beneath the microwave. Highly not recommended. The staff was overall nice, but I felt gross staying here.

11/13/21 While waiting for my guests, I got the privilege of seeing the inner workings of the guest area. The guest area is in high demand and some kind of card game is going on. Coffee for the serious drinkers and hot water for tea time,...or hot chocolate. Since I am not a coffee or tea drinker, (not much of one) hot chocolate....no!...Swiss Hot Chocolate will have to do. The front desk guy I met was not the most helpful, but he wasn't rude. Kinda reminds me of Dante Hicks from the movie Clerks. The snack bar by the front desk is calling my name. Mainly because I am hungry and thirsty, the options I see are more appealing. I will use the rest room and if my guests aren't ready, i might just get something to drink. Well I just found out what time my passangers leaving. I think it's safe to say I have time.

    Nasty sick left behind.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds but they put one so close to the wall that it was difficult getting on and off. There are no usb ports near the beds and only on the desk. The pillows seemed worn but useable. Definitely not the quality pillows I'm used to in Hilton chains. Breakfast was meh. It was a hot breakfast with disgusting sausages, cheese omelet, and half raw potatoes. They had some fruit and pastries as well as oatmeal and waffles. Sadly there were people blowing their noses in the line and enough to make you not want to eat. There was staff constantly attending to the hot area. There was also someone cleaning the floors. Not an ideal thing to see but atleast they're trying to be clean. They have coffee and hot water for tea available all day. Parking is ample but we warned that there are a lot of quick turns. There's nothing in the area and it's quiet with very little traffic. I was there on Sunday so the strip area was closed and a majority of the businesses haven't opened yet. It's a great value though so I didn't hate it The cons; it was clean but i found an nasty old sock on the floor by the couch. The digital key kept sticking and I got shocked every time I went near the front door. So did the other party staying with me. Would I go back? Sure. It was reasonably priced and close enough to where we needed to be and accessible to the main highways. There are better Hilton options but this was decent.

Then it goes on to say pick.up on demand. Keep in mind i didnt get this email until.after i booked and paid

This hotel is listed in the parkway parking app as an option to park. I selected this hotel based on its shuttle service to and from Dulles airport. Part of booking this parking selection is stating what time you are leaving and returning. I was leaving at 5 am at returning at 1am so those are the times I selected. The system allowed me to book. I had no problem with departing at 5am but when i returned and called I was told by the hotel the shuttle runs between 6am and 1030pm. I had to catch an uber back to my car which cost the same amount as parking in their lot. When i contacted management they offered to pay for my uber and give me HH points they just had to run a few things up the chain. Today i get an email that i should have checked their website. Why would i check their website when i booked through another party. I was then directed that the email i received states their hours. I received this email after booking, the hours arent stated in a matter of fact manner and the hours that are stated arent correct because I got a ride at 5am and it states shuttle service starts at 6am. I am very dissapointed in this management for not taking responsibility for their part in this miscommunication and pointing fingers. The system should reject your booking if you choose hours the shuttle isnt available. The staff should notify you the shuttle wont be available What was the point of me selecting what time i would be arriving and departing. I will try and attach the instructions I was suppose to determine shuttle hours so you can see how unclear they are

Dead little black bugs and hair at the base of the tub when I checked in room.

I just got in from a long flight and wanted to shower amd relax. When I got in the room it was very hot so I went to adjust the a/c but it didn't work so I had to go up to the front desk to get the maintenance man to fix it. Thinking everything was fine after he had fixed it I went to take a relaxing bath but was horrified to see dead little black bugs at the base of the tub and hair from the previous person who stayed in the room. I was really disappointed because these Hilton CLEAN STAY guarantee stickers are always on the doors when the room wasn't even properly cleaned, not sure if I'll stay at this location again.

Waiting to checkout today, the Pekes posed for photos for some of the Hampton Inn staff.

I've always liked Hampton Inns and have stayed in them in many cities and it's why I booked here this time. However this is the first time I had to use the airport shuttle service and the experience is far from good. The service is on demand only, which means you have to call as they don't make scheduled rounds like many others do. Which should have been fine - many hotels have the same system and it always worked. However it didn't work here because for over half an hour no one answered the phone. Then someone answered and said they'll contact the driver and put me on hold forever so I had to hang up and try again. Eventually the front desk answered and said the shuttle would be there in 15 minutes. It took another 30 minutes. Altogether it took almost 1.5 hours before I finally got to the hotel. When I asked why they didn't answer the phone I was first told they were busy, then they said I must have dialed the wrong number which made no logical sense because I'd only dialed one number and that's the same one that was eventually answered. So while the hotel room quality is similar to other Hampton Inns the shuttle service is shockingly bad. Bottom line - don't stay here if you have to be picked up at the airport. Plenty of other Dulles airport hotels have scheduled shuttles and those are much more reliable - we literally saw countless other hotel shuttles pass by repeatedly while waiting forever for the one from this hotel and wished we didn't make the mistake of booking at this hotel.

They made us feel so at home and were extremely kind and friendly; everything they did was with a smile. Saturday morning was very busy, but no problem with Odir and Delia running the show. Their warm welcome whenever we entered the lobby each morning was so heartfelt and genuine --like I said, I'd come back solely for how welcomed these two made us feel. I had the breakfast bowl and the breakfast sandwich twice and think that's a real winner. Our breakfast was complimentary with the room, and the coffee was pretty decent, too. All staff at this location were nothing short of welcoming and friendly. They all worked hard and had great attitudes, so just because the room is a little outdated and the AC unit sounded like it was ready to take off, I'm going to round my 4.5/5 down. There's a free airport shuttle to Dulles airport; it runs from 7am to 10pm, every half an hour, on the hour and :30. The staff was polite and helpful, the rooms and common areas were clean, and the location is very convenient with stores and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is okay, but very limited. You can definitely find something to eat, but don't expect much variety, especially if you stay longer than a few days. The biggest issue was the kitchen equipment. The room includes cookware, but the frying pans, pots, and utensils are extremely low quality. I cook almost every day and I have honestly never had food burn this badly in my life, even while cooking with oil and being careful. I eventually had to go buy my own frying pan just to survive the stay. Attached photo of the pan speaks for itself. I don't think I've been to a hotel in a long time where I noticed that the staff care so much. Note that this is a Residence Inn and not some luxury hotel brand in the Marriott fleet. They had some long-term or very frequent guests who are known by the staff and were greeted accordingly when they came into the hotel or arrived at breakfast. Being my first time didn't keep the friendly staff from asking how I was, where I was visiting from, and whether I needed anything. The breakfast was good and convenient for the location -- the complex that this hotel sits in has surprisingly limited food options and I was using rideshares to get anywhere on this trip. The staff at the breakfast were constantly monitoring the area and making sure dishes were cleared and food was available. The elevators worked, my room was clean and quiet and I couldn't ask for much more. While I probably wouldn't go outside to run in the area -- too much traffic and parking lot -- there is a gym at the hotel open 24 hours. (They also have a putting green...)

Don't expect gourmet; but solid good breakfast eats that are well-presented. Out of the 4 major hotel chains, Hyatt probably has the best complimentary breakfast of them all. I was not aware they offer a shuttle service to Dulles Airport so I will consider this next time in lieu of a car rental. However, make sure to check that your room's plumbing is in working order prior to settling in. We usually do,but we were in a rush to make our dinner reservations. When we returned to take a shower, half the water was still coming out the tub faucet as well as the shower head with the knob pulled up. My sister was able to tweak it so there was a 1/4 water coming out of the tub faucet. We notified the front desk, however we couldn't switch rooms because they were all booked with a convention or large group booked. They did offer to send the plumber/engineer to take a look. Unfortunately, they didn't have the part in stock to fix it. The engineer/plumber offered to come back on Friday to fix it when the part would most likely arrive since it needed to be fixed anyway, but we declined to not interrupt our stay.
