They have cookies at check in. It was pretty quiet when we were there, which was a relief because of our puppies. Our room on the 4th floor(414) was comfortable. Loved the location. It is close to restaurants, Target, Kroger Walmart, etc and a short drive to Sam Houston University. Lots of grassy area to take the pups and they have poop bag dispensers as well. They have a large parking lot too. Breakfast was the usual hotel offering except for had what looked like sausage patties which didn't look very appealing. Besides that, everything else seemed ok. The waffles are always a winner. We all enjoyed our stay here and will likely stay again if we're ever in the area. Btw, if you're traveling with pets, make sure to call and confirm the pet fee before booking.

The accommodation was very comfortable, nice and clean however when I went to closed the drapes, which were not a full set, did not move which really was not a problem but the room was right above the pool and there was a flood light that not only lit up the pool area but shone right into my room. I could have requested another room but I was too exhausted the two nights when I arrived each evening at my room and wasn't really annoyed, just wanted to sleep. I must say that the morning breakfast didn't disappoint, Hopefully on my next visit, the elevator will be in working order and I will get a decent accommodation.

Now when it comes to the room, the crevice attachment on their vacuum, really needs to be used. The main area of the carpet was relatively clean, but all around the edges was gross. My daughters were utilizing the bathroom to do their make up and hair, so I opted to go sit on the floor in the room in front of the long mirror. Let's just say I got a towel so I can sit on it versus straight on the floor. They also need to add real blackout curtains. There were outdoor lamps that were shining right through our room so we did not get the best sleep. They have these little faux blackout curtains on the side that you can't close. Would I stay here again? If I was in a pickle, yes. For $189 a night I expect check in with welcoming smile and cleanliness.

It is in a convenient location right beside I-45 and only minutes away from many stores and businesses in Huntsville. I was on a budget and staying for a week, so having a mini-fridge and microwave and free wifi in my room were a big plus for me and helped me decide where to stay, as many other budget motels in the area didn't have these things. In the complaint column, I do have to say that the hallway outside my room was extremely noisy during sleeping hours, with people coming and going and making noise in the hall at all hours of the night. The doors are heavy and slam loudly unless the person using the door is being careful to close it gently (which most people do not). Because my room was located on the end of the hall, the door to the outside of the building would make gust of air rattle my door, sounding like someone was knocking. There are also train tracks located within hearing distance, so keep this in mind if that's something that might disturb you. So if you are a light sleeper like me, I would highly recommend bringing ear plugs if you stay here. The windows (which were made to open and close) were screwed shut, which was frustrating as I like fresh air at night, regardless of the temperature. SInce I was on a second floor room, I don't see why the windows had to be permanently screwed shut. The wifi was also sometimes erratic, but did work most of the time. But overall this was a nice room at a good price for someone on a budget. The pool was nice and the staff were friendly. Just bring earplugs.

Found hair in tub, stained sheets (they seemed clean, but still...), old food crust on the top bedspreads, and the room had an old stale smell. The beds are still hard IMO, but I brought my mattress topper for that reason. The pros: it's very affordable, but I'm willing to pay more for peace of mind (and perhaps a softer bed). Sad to say I think this will be our last stay.

She was already creeped out by him when he checked her in, but this is inexcusable!!! Thankfully a friend had gone with her to make sure she got in safe. I cannot imagine what could have happened if she were alone! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!! THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN, EVER!!!! I have already reported this to Choice Hotels. She is safe now at a different hotel but was so scared.
