Had a pleasant and relaxing stay at the Hampton Inn Meadville. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming and they had a plate of free cookies for guests to indulge in! Hotel was clean and well kept. Water pressure in the shower was strong and hot water available within seconds. Amenities included an above average fitness center with dumbbells up to 50 lbs, multiple treadmills, two elliptical machines, a peloton bike, and a cable pulley tower. There was also an indoor pool and a complimentary breakfast buffet with hot and cold food options, plus light roast and dark roast coffee. If you're in a rush the staff made to-go bags for any guests to take that included a bagel with jam and peanut butter, apple, and bottled water. To my pleasant surprise they also had a nightly social 6-8 pm in the lobby with complimentary adult beverages on ice. The selection was Coors Light, Michelob Ultra, Yuengling, and multiple flavors of seltzers. I've seen this done at other higher end Hilton properties like Embassy Suites but first time seeing it at a Hampton Inn! Would definitely stay here again! read more

Lovely hotel near the highway on the outskirts of Meadville. It's a Hampton Inn, however there seemed to be real pride of ownership and management at this particular hotel. It's very clean. The staff is friendly. The rooms are quiet- I couldn't hear anyone in the hallways or in anther room. It has a great breakfast and grab and go bags for those that didn't have time to sit and eat. Baked cookies at check in. The pool area and fitness room were also very clean. The hot tub was hot- not lukewarm. Ample parking. I enjoyed staying here. read more

In Meadville on business. Very nice rooms, lovely bathroom, friendly front desk staff and an indoor pool. Small fridge and microwave in the room, good desk area, easy to use wireless. Good breakfast, hot scrambled eggs, sausage and muffins, cereal, yogurt, etc. No negatives! read more

This Hotel ,I definitely rate a number 5. I have been traveling to different local hotels due to a house fire. Not 4 out of 5 hotels are not compatible to the courtesy of the amenities offered. Including comfortably, courteous and very helpful service from the employees is impeccable. The cleanliness and beauty of this hotel is absolutely stunning. Parking available, gorgeous scenery and rural setting makes you feel at home. God has blessed my life immensely since the fire. Just a few more days and I will have no worries. Front desk was friendly and helpful, laundry room was clean and cheap ($1.00/load, plus $1.00/each for detergent and fabric softener), pool area was nice and replete with a hot tub. Could use some pool toys for the kids, though! Our room was nice - we were there for three nights, in town for a funeral. If we're ever back in the area, we'd definitely stay there again! read more

This place was a surprise for us. We were down south early August of last year and were looking for a hotel close to Grove City. Unfortunately, all the hotels there were booked, so we got shifted north to this place...which actually benefited us since we were also shopping up at Millcreek. Service and concierges were overall attentive and the process from check-in to entering the hotel room to check-out went very smoothly. The beds were comfortable, the showers were nice, the room itself was large as well. What lost one star, however, was the on and off wi-fi in this place...I had to reset my connection numerous times. The continental breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. I'm never a fan of these kinds of breakfast, but this place was probably the only place I've had breakfast and actually enjoyed it. I'll certainly come back here if I were shopping in Grove City, Millcreek...hell, maybe even a trip to Pittsburgh. read more

It was on Dec 13th,2018 and I was in the lounge area when I heard something that didn't sit right with me. I saw the front desk person named Missy bring in two bottles of wine and hand it over to someone she refereed to as Boozieclause. I then realized it was the hotel's staff Christmas party, to which the doors were open, so the goings on in the room could be heard by any guest passing by. At this point I heard staff egging on someone named Jenny to chug down the wine. I was shocked to see this was so loud that out that the guests were able to hear. I think what disturbs me most about this as a business class traveler, I am no stranger to Christmas party events. Yet in our day and age of social consciousness, there is no room to encourage this type of behavior, such as teenager Chug it Down type drinking. Why was this party during the day of the week to which their business clientele would be present to endure this? I was waiting for my business contact to meet me in the lounge. I wondered what I was going to say to them if this event got any louder. Who ever made this decision to have it on this day, encourage this type of behavior should be seriously reconsidered for what ever leadership they may have in this hotel. They obviously lack the ability to think professionally in a Hilton establishment. Unacceptable. They should bet rid of Boozieclause Jenny too. Have your Christmas party, but never forget you are a business, and act accordingly. read more

I had a hard time at this hotel because it has a VERY VERY strong smell of cleaning products everywhere, including rooms, lobby, hallways, and gym. I'm not typically sensitive to smells but I dreaded walking into the building each time because it was so terrible. Otherwise everything was fine. The breakfast was great, staff friendly, spaces immactualy clean. The room was tiny but very comfortable. Overall I liked this hotel and think it is great if you have kids in tow. I just won't stay there again because of the noxious smell. read more

This is a very nice hotel. Staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make you happy. Breakfast is great- more than the usual "continental" type. Rooms are clean with super comfy beds and blankets. In the evenings they also put out some food and beverages for guests. Not just on the weekends- every day! Also has a nice gym and indoor pool with hot tub. My daughter was sad this morning as the hot tub was down for a bit to be cleaned and refilled- but I see that as a good thing :) Definitely recommend! read more

By the time I had driven from Rochester to Meadville last April, it was already clear to me that my plague was pretty serious. With each mile, I was even gladder that I had "splurged" for this hotel, rather than more budget-conscious options in Meadville, because I'd need a good, warm night's rest more than ever. The room was nice - still feeling clean and new, and with a decent sized TV. I slept well, stayed warm, and rode out my really bad cold here. Super cool that they have a free happy hour in the evenings - as I started feeling better, I think the Yuengling helped even more. Breakfast was great, too. Best waffle batter out of any hotel that I've ever stayed in with make-your-own waffles. In my eyes, there is no other hotel in Meadville. This is the only one you should bother with. read more

BOTTOM LINE: THE GOOD We stayed in 1 bed room king, that was extremely clean. Room had all the amenities for a comfortable stay (mini fridge, microwave, LED TV, fresh comfortable linens / bedding). Complementary breakfast was the usually offerings for a Hampton Hotel. THE BAD Reservations mix-up due to poor communication, but Doreen (font desk assistant got us straighten out) The fitness room, had cheap equipment, but good enough for a quick workout. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone read more

Stayed here because we could not get a room. Was pleasantly surprised with a fairly new hotel! Pool had late hours until 11:00 pm and workout room until midnight so we could go to eat a late supper after we arrived at 8:30 and the kids still got their swim in. My only complaint is the thermostat. It was too cool when we arrived and so we bumped up the temp. That kicked on the heat versus just shutting the ac off for awhile. read more

This hotel is very comfortable and new. I hope they can keep it this way. A smoker lit up in their room down the hall from ours and it flared up my asthma pretty bad. I had to use my inhaler a couple times to control it. Coughing, I asked the staff how strict their non- smoking policy was and she said very, the entire hotel is a non-smoking hotel. She called my room later that evening and gave us a service adjustment on our bill... Which was completely unexpected or anticipated. The staff here really went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. I couldn't believe how nice she was. We will definitely return. Hoping people will choose to smoke outside. read more

I will admit that I am a Hilton Fan, at least for the last couple of years. The main reason why is that they are usually so consistant in every aspect. The only differrence is usually the staff and its own personality. Even then it is pretty consistant. We stayed at this particular hotel this Christmas for over a week. The staff was very friendly, more than willing to do everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. From bringing extra towels and fans to our rooms to making sure that we knew what kind of treats that they would have available in the evening. The hotel was rather new, so everything was in great condition. They appear to be doing a great job of keeping the hotel rooms and common areas cleaned. When we are back in the area we will deffineatly choose to stay here again. I would have given this hotel 5 stars, however, I beleive that one should be able to set the room temperature at a level to make us very comfortable. We where unable to turn the heater below 68, and 66 is where we normally set our house. We adjusted, and they brought us a fan, but the thermostat in the room was unable to be programed any lower. read more

I'm a fan of Hampton Inn, but this was one of the best we've seen. It was new in 2010 so the room was in immaculate condition with excellent furnishings and firm beds. The reception area has a bar area and they had some kind of hospitality event. Breakfast was the best I've seen at a Hampton with nice eggs, waffles... But why oh why can't any hotel provide a scrap of food with fiber in it? I guess chocolate chip muffins are more popular than bran muffins. I was resigned to raisin bran yet again despite the large amount of other food. The pool was reasonably warm. Probably around 82-83 degrees. Nice spa. Great exercise room. Stayed here recently. Check in was a little bothersome. The man at the front desk seemed put off by me asking him for as bigger room. I'm a Hilton Honors member and have gold status. When I asked him if I could get a bigger room he told me all rooms were the same and I know that's not true. Upon check in, gold members usually get a bottle of water and he seemed put off when I asked for one. He asked me if I wanted a room that wasn't preheated heated. Since I'm from California, I wasn't sure how long rooms took to heat up. I asked him. His response was "I don't know, I've never stayed here." Really?? But you work here don't you? The housekeeping staff were very rude. They pounded on our door each morning. The day we were checking out, we had a knock on the door from housekeeping right at 11am. She was yelling into our room telling us it's time to check out. I responded to say we wanted late check out, (gold members get that). She yelled to say "well you better call the front desk." I had been trying to call the front desk all morning with no answer. I walked down there to see what was going on and the front desk staff were all outside having smokes. Wow! Rooms were fine as all Hampton Inns look the same. read more
