Ok, I stayed 5 nights at this motel. I hate to write reviews. I'm lazy. ‍, so with that said, I truly enjoyed this very quaint location. Mark was extremely kind and helpful, the staff was just as warm and welcoming. I Will definitely recommend this motel. It's older well taken care of and a bit of history. I enjoyed the little walking trail behind the motel. I sit to long behind a steering wheel, So a safe woodsy walk was a welcome change. If you don't need a brand new fresh coat of paint and can appreciate a bit history. This is your place to stay! Oh , it's also got 24/7 security cameras. And I did not go next door to the bar and grill, but from the number of cars that frequent the place. I'm sure it will please your lunch & dinner needs. I have always stated that God puts people and places in front of me at the right time and once again it came true......After my husband and I sold our home, we needed an extended stay motel while tying up loose ends, before we could leave for our new home in another state. In searching the internet and checking prices, Cianci's Motel popped up. The price was the first unbelievable attraction, so much so, I asked to see the room and they graciously allowed me. I said yes, immediately! The entire staff was so pleasant and made our stay such a nice experience during a most stressful time. The room was very comfortable and when we needed an even longer stay, the owner worked very hard to be sure we weren't displaced, as my husband who has some medical issues, wasn't disturbed. My motel room was cozy and clean with several amenities-- microwave, mini- fridge, iron and full size board, coffee maker, and hair dryer. The recliner was extremely comfortable. There were several USB ports, a must for me. This plac offers no extras such as an exercise room or hot tub but the price is great if you're just looking for a place to sleep. The staff was friendly. My only negatives-- the parking lot needs paved, the handicap ramp is too short, and my door didn't have a peep hole. I recommend a stay here for anyone who wants a well-maintained budget motel. read more

We stayed two nights here for a wedding. The room was small and cozy, everything was clean and the staff was really nice. For the price, it was a pretty good option and quieter than one would expect. The bed wasn't all that comfortable and the mattresses were really noisy, so you heard it whenever someone rolled over and both my friend and I felt the difference after two nights of sleeping away from home. The breakfast offerings were also a lot less than advertised for sure - a few fruits, coffee, apple juice, and if you wanted to get some Cheerios from a plastic container on the wall you could do that. Not exactly inspiring and far less than expectations based on what they'd advertised. Compared to some of the other locations other guests stayed at, we still got a much better deal, but not too inspiring none the less. read more

Stayed at Cianci's on our Fall bicycling tour adventure... we weren't sure what to expect at a "mom and pop" style motel... we enjoyed a clean updated room, a fair price, and a great family restaurant next door... highly recommend this family friendly motel! read more

My sister and I were visiting family around Greenville. We were very pleased with the service extended by the owner and staff. Ahead of our trip, Mark Cianci realized our trip would overlap a Mercer County Tourism event that garnered us significant savings at local businesses and urged us to sign up. We did and enjoyed Daffin's Candy for free. The room was quiet and very clean. The beds were comfortable and roomy. The room amenities such as the small refrigerator worked well. We were able to enjoy our time there without worry or noise. I highly recommend Cianci's Motel while staying in or around Greenville. read more

I came to Greensville, PA because my son had an interview with Thiel College. Cianci's was one of the two places to stay in town and was the most reasonable. The owner/operator is such a friendly person, he makes you feel welcomed. The room was clean, they had Wi-Fi and cable. My stay was short but memorable. read more

I was visiting Greenville (used to live here in late 70s to early 80s) and needed a place to stay for a couple of nights. I didn't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money since I would be driving around town and the surrounding area for most of the daytime. I only needed a simple place to sleep for myself (traveling alone). This place had gotten good reviews so I booked it. The rooms, I'm told, were renovated - non-smoking rooms available in front, smoking rooms available in the back of the building. When I first entered the room, the AC was already on which was a relief from the summer heat that late afternoon. I had requested a non-smoking room, and I detected no odor of smoke. The room I was given had the basics - a bed, one bedside table, round dining table for two, TV on long dresser, microwave atop a mini-fridge, clothing hanging rack (no closet), and a bathroom. There were many cable channels available, including HBO. Everything was clean. Being a small business owner myself, I understand the importance of accommodating your customers to stand out from the larger competitors. The little nice touches that I noticed included: small simple breakfast offerings "to go", small ready-to-go bags of ice available upon requests, picnic tables in the back, and if checking in when the office is closed (the main office is open certain daytime hours), your room key is readily available. I arrived during the off hours, but my key (standard/nostalgic old-school motel key!) was available for me to take and enter the room. I just had to register once the office reopened. If you need an inexpensive place to stay and sleep while you are out and about during the day, then this place serves your basic needs. read more

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 30 years. It is very nice and extremely clean. The management is very accommodating and welcoming. The rooms have all been updated and are well maintained. We stayed here last night as well as one day last week because we are from this area and come back frequently for visits. Everything was great for our recent stay. It is like a home away from home for us. It is hard to believe you can stay in such a nice clean place for around seventy dollars. I highly recommend Cianci's Hotel if you are staying in or around Greenville PA. read more

Hey I get it. You're not in Greenville for any ambiance. But I was here for work and have stayed on many occasions. Great place, clean rooms, less than $70 per nite. Can't beat it. Don't worry that they are not a chain. Chains are ok, but they can only do so much. Fear not. Book a room now. You won't be disappointed! read more

My gf and I ended up staying a night on a whim, checking in late while on our way to Niagara Falls. The rate was favorable and it was on the way, nearby, so it was the logical choice. We didn't expect much, but were pleasantly surprised to find the room in great condition. This isn't a posh motel - no chandeliers, ice bucket, or chocolate on the pillow - but their hospitality is outstanding. Mark is quite the host, very friendly, sociable, and was more than happy to take some time to recommend sights to check out on the way to our destination. He also hooked us up with a small bag of ice as a courtesy, to keep our cooler chilled until we could refill. Small gesture, but very thoughtful and a good reflection of how accommodating the mgmt at this establishment is to their guests. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area, even if only for a night. read more

Not what I would call a "hotel" it's a motel ..I Did not find this place to be a very modern Clean place to spend the night in relaxation .. Seems like an old run down place with a tiny Bathroom, slippery tub/shower .. In my a opinion I would stay in the other brand new hotel in town That I have heard has an amazing breakfast . Indoor swimming pool and amazing hospitality And a great bar in the evening . The manager and Staff were absolutely hospitable and very kind! read more

Stayed at this motel for one night while my son visited with Thiel College. This was my first stay and definitely won't be my last. Outstanding customer service, super clean and cozy room, and all of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay away from home. The continental breakfast in he morning was a wonderful touch too. I grew up in thie area and there are not many places to stay when visiting, Cianci's is a family run local motel. Mark is so personable and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. Don't expect a true 5 star upscale place. This is a clean place with a comfortable bed. We have stayed many times and will stay again. Don't pass it up by outside looks or older furnishings.....everything functions 100%. You get much better customer service than at most chain hotels or motels. I heard good things about this motel but 2 hours after staying here, we find a roach crawling on the wall. Then over the next few days we find 2 more. It didn't come from us because we haven't seen a single roach in the entire 13 months at our last place, not even outside, or at any business, or just anywhere in Crawford County. So for $547 a week, I think that's a bit too much to have to live with roaches. Try half of that. The room was really clean and so was the bathroom except for the mold on the shower curtain. It's not a bad motel but for some reason it has roaches and that's a deal breaker for me for such a big price. read more

This place was recommended to us by Thiel College Admissions when we scheduled our tour. Two years later it is now our place to stay when coming to my son's Lacrosse games, for drop-off & pick-up at the beginning & end of the school year & all the in-betweens. The price is affordable, the motel is quite clean, comfortable & Mark the owner is fantastic and will do his best to accommodate your needs & requests. We live 9+ hours away in CT, and decided to leave items for my son near campus at a local storage facility this summer - Mark knew just who to recommend and provided us with the contact number and name of a great facility!
