Stayed here for two nights with my mom, as we visited Bellingrath gardens for the Chinese Lantern Festival. Hotel was very nice, clean and ALL of the staff were friendly, courteous and welcoming, which was very nice. My only reason to not give five stars was the following (minor) issues: - Luggage stand was rusty and sticky - Ewww - Bed springs were squeaky - Breakfast needs to be upgraded a bit with some personal touches (not the worst, but not the best) and in my opinion if they refreshed the items/choices given, it would be my "Go to" place to stay every-time I am in that area. Overall - I would recommend as the staff was welcoming and the hotel was very clean (inside and outside)! read more

This hotel is a dump, avoid it all cost. It took three people to check me in only for them to give me a room that was already occupied by somebody else. Yes, they gave me a digital key and checked me into the room and it took three people to actually check me in at the front desk. I went to the room but the key didn't work because it was occupied. Had to go down and get a manager so it took 4 people in all. I get into the room and it stinks and it's filthy. See pictures of the shower with black mold. To add insult to injury, they charge me twice for the room and another hour on the phone with Hilton Honors trying to get it fixed. read more

I'm going to be a bit long winded but please read in its entirety. Upon check I noticed construction going on outside and in the lobby. I waited over five minutes to be checked in because my digital key hadn't populated. Upon checking me in the your lady told me upgrades to all the rooms was complete and just the lobby area needs to be complete. Upon checking into room 309 from 4/3/23 to 4/5/23 I noticed how dirty the room was. I called the front desk and was told no other rooms were available but housekeeping would be up shortly. Needless to say this never happened, nor did housekeeping come the next day. In the breakfast area construction debris was all over the place with no workers in sight. Bathroom was filthy and old looking. Towels are old and dingy and the furniture in my room was soiled. As a 10 year Diamond by far one of the worse hotel experiences ever!! read more

My first time staying at Hampton Inn. It made one heck of a first impression. We were promptly greeted by the desk clerk. The check-in process went smoothly and quickly. We checked in around 6:30 pm, so instead if going directly to our room, we decided to enjoy happy hour. Each guest can have up to 3 "adult" beverages along with chips & salsa, hot dogs & chili. As we only stayed one night, I can't say if the happy hour menu changes each day Our room was spotless and spacious. For some reason we were assigned to a handicapped room. It struck us as odd the room was significantly down the hall from the elevators. We had a refrigerator, coffee maker & a small microwave. The bedding was extremely comfortable. The hallways were quiet. The hotel posts a "no pet" policy, yet they had a picture of a dog inside the elevator and we did see a guest leave the hotel with a rather large dog. The only suggestions I would make would be for softer towels (ours were rather scratchy)and perhaps a robe. I also noted while there was clean slips in the closet there was no laundry bag. While others have posted about the breakfast, I can't comment. I slept right through it. I blame those comfortable mattresses! Thankfully, coffee is served 24/7 and they left fruit for stragglers like me. We can certainly recommend this Hampton Inn and we'll be sure to try others on our road trips. read more

Came here after having dinner at the Shed in Mississippi. When we pulled up we were a little sketched out by the outside appearance of the sign and building. When we walked in we were greeted by the front desk gentlemen. He was very nice and personable. The inside was kept clean. A little outdated, but clean. We went up to our room and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room. The beds were queen size and the tv has HBO/satellite. Overall, pleasantly surprised in a good way and very happy. Even the doors have an extra safety lock for children that folds out to block people from Coming in or children getting out. read more

I use Hilton Honor rewards , so this was an option given my trip. Unfortunately, this is the second Hilton hotel that can't manage to have a tv. Regular tv is ok ... any tv is ok ... ... any tv would work ... but apparently not in this establishment. Obviously, coming in late I can't expect the staff to be tech experts, but this this second Hampton in 2 weeks. Switching rewards programs now. Good luck to everyone else. read more

Stayed her the night of June 3rd. This is one of the better managed Hampton Inns I have visited since Covid. The staff is friendly and professional. It is an older building but the he room and facilities were immaculate. Breakfast was limited but still good. It was also served with a smile. This location will be a regular stop for me when passing through on I10. read more

I am very picky but this hotel was outstanding and very clean. They also had good service and I was wowed by the bathrooms and their free shampoo and conditioner. If you go to the front desk and ask, they will also provide stuff that you forgot to pack like combs, razors etc. I would definitely go to this place again if I was around the area. Despite the coronavirus warnings, this place was incredibly clean and comfortable. 5/5! read more

I would not recommend this hotel. There is plenty in the area so recommend trying one of them. We came in at 10 am from California was ready to just relax but tv was not getting signal had to call desk 3 times sent some one to change out hdm cable and got it working. When I went to take a shower tub was not draining so I had to stand in my shower water. Asked for another room and told sorry we have no other rooms. Not to clean of hotel. Almost forgot asked for soap to was my hands and was told sorry we ran out of shampoo and soap....with Covid 19 think they would have soap to wash your hands! read more

I stayed here a couple weeks ago while on a roadtrip from Texas to Florida. It was a good stay. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The complimentary breakfast was plentiful. Although the place was crowded during breakfast, there was a general cheerful feeling generated by the guests and the hotel staff, so it was all good. The Inn is located right off I-10 and is easily accessible (though follow the directions carefully because you have to get on a frontage road). The area seems to largely be hotels/motels and chain restaurants. There appear to be a lot of options in the area, but I was glad I chose to stay here. read more

First time I've stayed at this one- usually stay at the one on 65 airport blvd- but this was closer to my appt. Older building but GREAT staff, Hanna? I think was my front desk manager and she was super!! Great attitude, great personality, and had me in and up to my room quick. Breakfast was par for Hamptons but again, I'm a Hampton guy and rooms were clean, wifi had good bandwidth, so I was a happy camper. I always like it when friendly people greet me and this was one of those... expected pleasures. Thanks management for being a go to place. And the rate was very competitive!!! read more

This place was the bomb.com. When we first arrived, there was plenty of parking, freshly baked cookies in the lobby, snacks in the lobby including chips and salsa and Chex Mix, and a friendly helper at the front desk. Our room was clean and had all the amenities. Breakfast the next morning was delicious: they had biscuits, white gravy, omelets, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, granola, oatmeal, cereal, and more. It was a great mix of hot and cold foods. All in all, we had a great experience. read more

This is a pretty small Hampton. As such the rooms are pretty small. The breakfast cook does a great job and it was clean. It is just so small. I really only needed to sleep here and it did that for me it just felt cramped. read more

This is a very clean hotel with friendly service staff. From checkin to checkout, I found that I was treated with a welcoming attitude. There is an evening welcome reception similar to what you find at an Embassy Suites. The updated in room amenities help to make this one of the better Hampton Inns that I have stayed in. There are a few other hotels nearby and this one appears to be the best. There is a Hooters nearby if you like their food but head about 5 miles northwest and you will find better options. I would most likely stay here again when I am in the area. read more

We arrived tired and hungry after a long day of driving. It was also pouring rain outside. I was dreading having to go back out with my kids to find some dinner. Stayed at several Hamptons so this particular one is in line as far as amenities. The area is very run down and it's located on a service road with several hotels. The location close enough to I10W is good. The manager and front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The rate was good as I booked through Booking.com. Room was a double queen, very clean and beds are comfy. Only issues are that my room smelled like sulfur when first entering. The smell did not dissipate during the evening so must be something in the ac or water pipes. Also, the dining area is very run down and in need of refurbishing. Torn seats and the floor by the service area covered in sticky substance. The tv has directv and several HBO channels, my room's tv is ready to give up the ghost as there were many colored lines at the top of the screen. There's a reception in the evening with drinks and appetizers. Did not try the breakfast before writing the review so can't say whether it's any good or not. The apps in the evening are ok but mostly microwaved and chips and salsa. Free beer and wine as well as soft drinks. All in all, I would not stay again. There are newer hotels nearby. read more

Nice rooms at affordable rates. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. Also has a workout and laundry room which is a plus.
