A very nice, newer Hampton. Service was friendly. Clean and well maintained. Very quiet on a Saturday in January (we only saw a few other guests). They have a nice indoor pool and hot tub that were a hit with my kids. The tv was a bit slow (poor satellite connection?), but it worked eventually. Decent hotel for short stay only Hampton inns arent my first choice of hotels, but when i am only staying for one, maybe two nights i will shaq up here for alil. There's really nothing wrong with the hotel itself or the staff. I personally dont enjoy these hotels because there kind of boring. There's no lounge or evening dinner/ happy hour, No food market/ snack stand, not even a refrigerator in your room. Definitely makes me feel like i shouldnt be staying for more than a few hours. But on the bright side they still have a fitness center, laundry facility, swimming pool w/ hottub. If your passing through and just need a comfy bed to sleep in, this is the spot. We were super disappointed with this Hampton Inn. You think you know what you are getting with a Hampton, but this particular one left much to be desired. At check-in the room wasn't ready...at 4:10 pm. Upon arrival in the room, I had to hold back the gags as I discovered leftover long dark hairs in the tub, including hairs from someone's unmentionable. As if the hairs weren't enough, the piece of what I am hoping is just leftover breakfast sausage collecting dust in the corner, definitely put me on edge. The most disappointing part though, was after getting all the kids ready for the pool, we got down there to see a paper posted saying it's closed for maintenance! That would be have been great to know at check-in! The staff seemed very unorganized and not concerned to any of these complaints. So no, I would not recommend this dingy, UNCLEAN hotel and will not plan to come here again. read more

Very nice place to stay. We came in late around 9:00 p.m. With no reservation. The gal at the front desk was very friendly & helpful. The Hampton offers a AAA discount so we saved a few bucks, always a plus. The room was clean, quiet & comfortable. The shower head was the usual hotel shower head, mediocre at best, but the shower & towels were clean. They also served a free breakfast buffet. The food was okay, nice choices & again we saved a few bucks so that is a plus. We would definitely stay here again! read more

Great place for a short stay. We stopped in midway on a road trip through Oregon and it made a good stop over. Pros: Clean, newer hotel Fresh rooms (in bedding, towels AND smell) 24 hour coffee, decaf, hot water (tea & cocoa packets) in the lobby Breakfast included (cereal, fruit, hot food, waffles, muffins & breads, along with juice, tea, cocoa & coffee/decaf) Indoor pool Cons: NO MINI FRIDGE in the double queen room we stayed in (forgot to ask if any rooms had it as option) Indoor pool is a chilly salt water pool (not a fan of cold pools) Some of the employees are friendly (one of front desk ppl, breakfast server), others acted as if helping guests was too much trouble (one of the front desk ppl, and person who answered phone earlier during day... not sure if same person) Not as outstanding as some of the other Hampton Inns we've stayed at where there was amazing guest service from the employees, but good enough for a short stay. read more

The Hampton Inn was nice it was our last stay before going home. The beds and linen are great, rooms are clean, friendly staff, plenty amenities. Only one negative they provide a breakfast at all Hampton hotels they are great. This one was a little off by that I mean they kept running out of food, fruit, and coffee. We travel alot and we have stayed here multiple times. Recently was on 26Oct18 and got there pretty late. I have 3 small kids that were wide awake and the person at the front desk nicely set us up away from other guest so we dont disturb them just incase. She did that before I even ask which is always a plus. One thing I would complain about is breakfast pastries had some mold in it. Yeah it happens but what can I say? Also, after staying with multiple hotels, it would be nice to have 2 waffle maker here. Takes a couple of mins to make one and would be nice to have another next to it so guest doesnt have to wait long time. Yes, I have kids eat alot of waffles and we think about others aswell. read more

As a business traveler, I enjoy Hampton Inns. As always, the bed was comfortable, the shower good quality, and the breakfast hot and free. Plus refrigerator and microwave (apparently not in all rooms). But I was disappointed by what I think is a lack of motivation to strive for excellence. The breakfast was not up to par with other Hampton Inns. Grapefruit and other fruits all tossed together to create one uniform so-so flavor. I have never seen bacon at this HAmpton Inn. Receipt was not under my door in the morning, as is typical at most Hampton Inns. When I asked why I was told that many guests just left them, so they stopped doing it (i.e. laziness). When back in town I will likely stay here. But there are other choices... read more

We stayed at the Hampton 10/26/18. The room was fine and linens nice but the TV didn't work. They have old Phillips TV's and the receptionist said she had problems with six of them the night before. We had to move rooms. The second room, the TV worked but the volume was so low you couldn't hear it. The next morning they were out of fruit and the warm egg omelette's when we arrived for breakfast. They had more in 15 minutes but not worth eating. The hotel gave us $9.00 off the room rate. read more

This hotel was clean and our room was very nice. Had a nice walk-in shower, a full size mini fridge, and a microwave. I'm giving it 5 stars and would give it more for the great breakfast service. We came down for breakfast around 9:15, and most all of the food had been emptied out. Dan, working the breakfast area all by himself, was very nice and made us new eggs, sausage, and waffle mix. Wow. Was not expecting to find such a solid spot in Pendleton. Made it to town for business and went against everyone's suggestion on where to stay and decided to try here. So glad I did. The whole hotel looked freshly remodeled and updated. The lobby was very open and welcoming and the breakfast area (6-10a) was very nice as well. The hotel had a small business center, fitness center (6a to midnight), and an indoor pool. Cookies (actually good) and 4 different coffee options were in the lobby as well. I stayed in the 3rd floor- overlooking the freeway and downtown Pendleton. The King mini suite was very spacious and clean. There was a giant flat screen, complete with TV on-demand and had a giant closet too. There was a desk too with a pretty good office chair- perfect for laying out some files and doing some work (not that I wanted to). Front desk staff was extremely friendly as well. I don't make it to Pendleton all that often, but I know that the next time duty calls for me or a coworker to be here, I will be the one recommending this hotel. read more

Service was terrible. Room was great! Had to stop in Pendleton for the night on a WA to UT road trip. Saw great reviews on Yelp and decided to call for a reservation. After 2 calls with no answer, the 3rd time I was transferred to a general Hampton Inn operator who helped me book a room. The location was good and easy to find. Upon arrival, there was no one to be found at the front desk. Nearly 15 minutes later, Kim, our missing desk staff, approaches the desk only to answer the ringing telephone without greeting us. The only redeeming factor was that check-in was our only encounter with her. Like I said, the room was great, the facilities were nice (pool, office with computers, complimentary wifi). Bonus: they do have a military discount which cut the cost of the room nearly in half. read more

We stayed here a few weeks ago and had a great time. 've stayed at many of the Hilton properties in the last few years including several Hampton Inn hotels. I love the value and the service at the Hampton Inn. This Hampton was no exception. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable beds. What more could a traveling family ask for? All tv's were out of service. I understand things happen but no one told us at the desk. We are on the road, checked in and excited to turn on the duck football game and NO TV! We called downstairs and they said they will adjust our bill 10%. Ten bucks. The doors slam shut. I was jolted twice by the hard slam of doors. And this morning! I was jolted awake at midnight. Jolted awake this morning at 5:30 ! And because people are moving around and going to breakfast. Doors slam. Slam. Slam. Ugh. And it doesn't help that the heater has a rumble that cycles on and off. My husband went to get ice last night and the inside of ice lid was sticky !!! Whatever it was , got all over his hand. We are getting dressed and getting out of dodge. This was not a pleasant and relaxing pit stop. The bathroom clean and plenty of towels. The bedding is very comfy. The breakfast good. Small fitness center but at least there is one. I think it was four machines In a narrow tight room. Little hard to not feel claustrophobic. I peeked in and decided not to use / I'd have hard time breathing if all four filled up at same time. I've stayed at many Hamptons. This was $109 and NOT worth the money. Even with the 10 dollars off. read more

My wife and I Seniors were touring Oregon to find a place to retire so we can be closer to our family. I made a mistake and put the day before I was to stay at the hotel on the reservation, so I ended up paying for two nights instead of the one night I actually stayed. After 25 years of being a Diamond and Gold member of the Hilton family of hotels I was disappointed they decided to play gottcha. I asked the manager of the Hotel Kimbery Foote if I could get to speak or communicate with the owner to at least plead my case directly to the person who is making the decisions; the owner. So checked in after a long trip. was tired and not wanting to deal with anything. nice lady at front desk think name was "Sandra" was soo nice and accommodating to any questions I had about the area. The Staff was soo nice and even had the coffee going and ready for me in the morning! food was awesome! my room was super quiet and clean! was a absolute pleasure to just be able to relax and fall asleep! usually dont sleep very well at hotels but slept like a baby at this Hampton, will definitely be coming back to this one next time i'm in the area! and thank you "lady at the front desk" think her name was "Sandra", sorry if i got the name wrong. she was just the best, and the food in the morning was pretty good too! The stay is nice (rooms are comfy). I am giving a 2 star because I am very disappointed that they restrict the television from changing the input to HDMI to restrict me from using my Fire TV. Fortunately, most Hampton Inn hotels do not have this restriction. I will not stay here again because of this. read more

I have had a horribly experience at the Hampton Inn in Pendleton OR!!! There are a couple different reasons why I had a horrible experience. First when I arrived I went in to check in. When the girl ran my card she said it didn't work. I said ok that's weird if I use my other card will it charge the one you reserved the room with she said no. Ok so I used my other card. As we were almost finished cards ran through and all she processed to tell us that their pool and spa are out of order and that we could use Super 8's pool a mile away mind you it is the middle of January snowing and freezing cold. At this point my frustration hit. As I was walking to my car to go to my room I thought to myself no I am going to go talk to them about that because if I would have known their pool and spa were not working I wouldn't have stayed here. When I went into speak with her about my frustration she had a defensive attitude and was like it is out of our control what would you one us to do. I said something would be nice. So she called the manager and the manager basically said we were out of luck and if we wanted to cancel we would be charged a cancelation fee. Second part of my horrible experience is when I got to my room I checked my accounts to make sure they didn't charge both cards. WELL THEY DID!!! When I went down to talk to the front desk yet again I explained that it did charge both my cards and she was like no it doesn't do that. So I went on my accounts and showed her that it came out and it charged me 119.60 not 104.00 she goes that's weird I don't know why it did that and charged you the wrong price then she tried telling me that if it is a debit it will automatically charge a pre-authorization I said I get that but why did it charge each of my cards you charged me twice when she said it wouldn't and it didn't work. She had no answers and told me to speak with the person in the morning which was even more frustrating not to mention passing the buck and making me have to explain all this again in the morning when I have to get to a basketball tournament. So I told them that they have a 100% guarantee that their guests are happy I said and I am not happy! Third their WiFi my daughter couldn't get into their WiFi so I told her to go down to the front desk and ask. When she went down there to ask she explained it and my daughter told her that she did that and it wasn't working and my daughter said that when she was trying to get her help all she did after she explained it the first time was stare at her computer and write on a paper. So she said she would just figure it out since she wasn't helping. And she still couldn't figure out how. There was a complete lack of hospitality and amenities. My husband is a coach and we travel for basketball tournaments every year twice a year to Pendleton and we will not recommend this establishment to anybody if this is not made right! read more

Our team stayed here at Hampton Inn from July 11th- 13th and our room was 317, I had called 3 weeks ahead to inquiry for a pet free room due to our son's allergies. The front desk told me they were pet free facility, but they do allow service dogs in the hotel. She indicated she will put in a request for housekeeping to purify the room for us before our arrival. I thought she was very nice. When we go to the hotel, the carpet was not clean and you can see a layer of dust on all the furniture's. I had to wipe down all the furniture. I notice that there were no extra pillows and blankets in the room and I mention to them that we had 4 people when I called to inquire about the room before. I called the front desk and ask for extra pillows and blankets, the front desk brought them up and told us that the hotel was full ( I call them around 6pmish) and they do not have any extra pillow for us, so they put 2 small one into one case, by the way it was very uncomfortable. That night when we pull out the sofa bed there were NO new sheets and the cover was fill with popcorn and dirty. I call the front desk again, Frankie told me she will bring the new sheets and a vacuum. I did not know if she was going to vacuum the cover or what. So, I told her we needed a new cover for the sofa bed too. The next day when we came back in the late afternoon, the bed was not made and we thought maybe housekeeping did not come yet. But the towels were replace, no refill of the toiletries (the shampoo/condition was very little maybe for one person) again we had 4 people. The shower was not cleaned at all. I call down to the front desk and ask what the housekeeping does when they clean up the rooms. After a long list of things the house keeping should had done was to make the bed. (By the way they did not do half of what the front desk told me.)I told them our bed was not made and we needed some toiletries. I complained to the front desk Frankie, she looked dumbfounded (so I showed her the room) all she said was sorry and was in a hurry to leave. I paid over $109/night to make our bed 2 days in the row. For the price I am paying we should of stay at Oxford Suite. As least they are clean and Oxford Suite offer complimentary evening reception and full hot breakfast. I was very disappointed, you were think this is a great hotel after all its trademark by Hilton. read more

Headed home from Utah, but just couldn't make it all the way to Seattle. We were nervous about places in La Grande and Baker City, so we pushed through to Pendleton. We were happy we did. Clean and comfortable beds. Everything we expect from a Hilton branded property, and a nice little price. Well worth the extra hour and additional $25. read more

This is harsh but fair. I stayed at this hotel for one reason, it was a Hampton. Bad idea. I don't know what is happening with this place. I found the housekeeping to be atrocious and did not even look like my room had been cleaned. The highway noise was enough to keep me awake all night. I brought this to the front desk managers attention, Kim was her name, and she blew MW off like I was lying. I am appalled at this hotel and their below acceptable standards. We booked our room thru a third party website - the third party website led us to believe our room was $495 for 4 nights - which we thought was very reasonable for a Hampton Inn. Spoke to the hotel receptionist two months before our scheduled stay to make sure it was $495 for the 4 nights & was reassured that was correct. Turns out that was incorrect it was $495 per night (Eeek!) once we spoke to the manager Tyler about this issue he was not sympathetic, never apologized for the miscommunication between his employee & myself - of course there were no notes as to what I spoke with his receptionist about. I was absolutely DISGUSTED by the way he talked to me, basically calling me a liar - we told him that we didn't want to give him our money & left. He was very confrontational & I also called the Hampton Inn corporate office & filed a complaint. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. read more
