First stay: It was my first but short stay but it was a good experience.The hotel was clean and the service was great. The bed was comfortable, carpet was clean and bathroom was tidy. It is near the freeway and close to Downtown Tulsa. Easy access from the freeway but not noisy. Complimentary breakfast was good. Didn't use the indoor pool but it looked very clean. The staff was friendly, and the tile work was great. I will definitely stay again. Second stay: I stayed at the hotel after 9 months. Everything applied the same as the first stay, but the facility and the service was better than before. This time around they even had my room keys ready when I showed up to check in. Pros: Comfortable bed Fold out sofa Free Wifi Easy to control room temperature Quiet Decent breakfast Cons: In room coffee maker came with filter holders that were too small so we had to hold it up to the hot water dispenser by hand to get it to work. Only saw someone at the check in desk about 40% of the time. No bell or way to call someone except to holler hello. Bathroom was a bit of a disaster: shower leaked severely and it wasn't from the shower head. As soon as the water was turned off, only then did water start pouring out from the edge and it completely soaked a bathmat, every time. No vent fan. There was only enough shower gel in the 15 oz bottle for 1 shower, only enough shampoo for 3 showers, even after a housekeeping visit. Had to ask for bar soap. Lighting was just mediocre. Shower floor was not slip-proof. The turn ring on the multi-spray shower head came off and we couldn't get it back on. USB ports were not working. I'm guessing that was because they were arranged to look just like an electrical jack and someone pushed a plug into them. read more

- If you have pets, beware letting them anywhere in the grass. TONS of grass burs. Mostly in the back but they are on the sides of the hotel as well. Not a good experience for us or the pups as they stuck on everything and hard to avoid. - It definitely smelled like a dog friendly room. I stay in hotels every night with our 2 dogs, so I understand, but I normally don't notice the smell. It was prominent every time we walked in. - We accidentally left our keys in the room. There was no one at the front desk. There was a sign that they were assisting someone else and would be back in 5 mins. Another worker came over, and she was super nice. Offered to help however she could. She was able to walk up to the room with us to unlock it. We really appreciated her assistance. - There was less than a roll of toilet paper, no extra rolls in room. - The other side of the hotel was being renovated on our floor. The power went out partially from a storm, and the elevators were not working. We were trying to find the stairs. The sign pointed to a door, but when we opened it, it lead to the rooms under renovation & unlocked. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again. read more

Convenience. That is what this hotel offers. Seems to be under reconstruction, repairs, remodeling or something. We have stayed here multiple times due to the convenience. Last stay, our door would not shut completely. They did switch us to another room. This trip, same room. The door does shut now. If you shut it quite hard. As in SLAM! At least it shuts. No shampoo, bar soap, or conditioner. Mouthwash! There is mouthwash! 2 fairly nice towels. Coffee pot! Yeah! Hey, some joints don't have coffee pots! ( see other posts) The bathroom door is also the closet door. Weird design. And it won't close off the bathroom cause it's busted! This room has a coffee pot, a fridge, an iron and board and a hair dryer. Nice flat screen tv and 70 or 80 channels you'll never watch. The bed and pillows are pretty comfy, and when it comes right down to it, that's what it's here for. And convenience. This hotel qualifies for convenience and comfy beds. read more

I stayed here with my wife on a Thursday - Sunday stay last month. We arrived to this Hampton Inn fairly late after a long day of flying. So thankfully check in was a breeze and we were quickly on our way to our room and bed. We had reserved a king sized bed and that was what we got in our room. The room itself looked to have been recently updated and other than the bed it also had a flat screen TV, desk and love seat. It's bathroom was fairly large and was comfortable to use. Both my wife and I had good nights sleep each night that we were here as the bed was comfortable and there wasn't any noises coming through the floor, doors or walls. Amenity wise I only used the breakfast buffet which is included in any Hampton Inn stay. It consisted of your usual Continental Breakfast Items like waffles, cereal, juices, yogurt, pastries, breads etc. they even had my favorite breakfast entree at the Hilton hotels, the Western Omlette on one of the mornings. The breakfast area was large and so accommodated the large crowd without making you feel crowded. Even though I didn't use the gym here my wife did. It consisted of your usual treadmill, elliptical and bike for cardio as well as dumbbells to lift. The elliptical wouldn't work for my wife but everything else seemed ok. Beyond that we also noticed a pool but didn't have the time to use it during our visit. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My stay here was great and the rooms and hotel seemed to be updated and I got a great nights sleep each of the 3 nights that I stayed. read more

10/10 do NOT recommend. Hotel was dirty, room was dirty. When i entered the bathroom the toilet seat was up as if it had been cleaned but when i sat the seat down a cockroach climbed out of the cracks of the seat. I happened to be there when it was raining and there were wet spots literally every few feet. When I got back to the hotel in the evening the same spots were there as though it had not been cleaned or nothing to catch the water - no wet floor sign. Front Desk was kind enough to offer me a soda that expired in 2019 (August 2022 stay). BEST thing, I came home with bed bugs from this stay. Awful awful experience. read more

I was originally assigned to a room in the 2nd floor. The hallway smelled of urine and there were severe water stains in the hallway. The elevator stopped working and guests weren't notified that the elevator was out of order, however, we did receive a call when it was working again. The carpet in the room was sticky the bathroom was dirty (buildup in the corners of the shower, film on the plank flooring, and mirrors. I complained at the front desk and was moved to the third floor. The room on the third floor, carpet was sticky with an odor. The shits were not fresh, again had a film and were stained (obviously) the bathroom floor had watermarks as if it had not been cleaned properly the room smelled damp and moldy. We only had one roll of toilet paper and when we asked for another we were told that they had not received a shipment and may not have any. The housekeeper acted as though it was her personal stash of toilet paper. There was an issue with the plumbing and housekeeping came up and tried to hand the plunger over to us to resolve. It was an overall terrible experience. The space is undergoing renovation but I would not recommend it for any future stays. read more

Needed a room to attend OSU graduation in Stillwater, but of course all the Stillwater hotels sell out almost a year in advance. I think this hotel in Sand Springs was a great option. The room rate was only $89 and it's an easy 60 minute drive straight down the turnpike to Stillwater. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The wifi was good, and it had a good sized refrigerator and small microwave right in the room. Only downside of the room was the toilet - to get it to flush completely you had to hold the handle down for about 5 seconds. Otherwise the shower was always hot and good pressure. Beds were comfortable and even though we had a room near the exit it was not too noisy at night. Check in and check out both fast and easy. EVERY night the staff had fresh cookies and coffee out. Our maid service was excellent. I left her a tip on the bed the first night and it was there when I returned with a note saying thank you but just checking to make sure I had not left money behind. So impressed I gave her a bigger tip the next day. Rare to see such care to be honest. Breakfast was on time every morning. The hot portion was not that great (rubber eggs) but there was always hot oatmeal and great fresh fruit along with wide choice of cereals and pastries. Not much in this area for eating options, but a 10 minute drive east on the highway and you can be in the Brady district of downtown Tulsa where the options are plentiful. Overall highly recommend this place. Service won me over. read more

Stay away from this hotel, you wont know if you have a room when you arrive. I called this hotel to reserve twenty rooms. Girl answers the phone and tells me they do not have a sales manager. Puts me on hold and i hung up after ten minutes. I called later and she told me to call after 3pm for the sales rep. I called at 3:30 and some grumpy man answers and tells me the sales person leaves at 3. I told him i am getting the run around and he asks what I need. When I told him I need twenty rooms he tells me the hotel is going to be closing for renovations and he wont have that many rooms. I look for other hotels and they are all far away so I call and ask how many rooms will he have available, I understand he wont have twenty. I hear him say "oh god" under his breath and then says he wont know. So I ask him how he wont know, you are taking reservations. Arent you limiting the reservations or are you just going to cancel on these people at a later date. He said he would just cancel on them. read more

The hotel is basic and a little dated, but immaculately clean and the staff is extremely nice. Mahesh, the manager, helped us jump our truck when it wouldn't start. He also resolved a housekeeping issue immediately and efficiently. The corporate culture seems to be 5/5 as the employees appear happy and friendly. I appreciated that the breakfast foods were wrapped so as to prevent spread of germs. The breakfast attendant was not masked which was concerning, though everyone else I encountered seemed to be. The manager was behind glass, so it was a non issue. I would like to see better mask usage with public facing staff and the hot tub was out of order. Otherwise, this has been a very pleasant stay. read more

I've been staying at this location for the same event for the last three years, and I'm looking forward to the next return trip. The folks are always helpful and pleasant to deal with. I've never had a problem with a reservation. The rooms are clean and spacious. And... ooooh those beds - like sleeping in a cloud made of buttered cotton candy. Breakfast is serviceable, although I prefer yogurt and a banana over the odd-looking egg patties and waffles. Coffee and OJ are always fresh. Downside? The little room fridge can be easily overwhelmed by large quantities of warm beer. My advice? Dump beer in bath tub along with lots of ice. Problem solved. read more

The staff at the Hampton Inn was everything we had come to expect from Tulsa people - NICE! Our television was not working and the lone employee on duty came to our room and fixed it. Every time we walked in the door, we were greeted in a friendly manner. Our room was typical Hampton - clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. We stayed three nights and each morning there was a different entree. An assortment of breads, cereals and fruit were nice extras. There was plenty of parking even though the hotel was full several nights. The hotel is about 15 minutes from downtown but for the price, it was a good bargain. read more

What a wonderful welcome to the hotel. A quick trip to the desk and we had our room key. Upon entering the room we were greeted with a clean (I mean clean) space. Two beds and a spacious bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable for a great nights rest. Breakfast was served in the morning and had a ton of options. Eggs and coffee were hot, a waffle maker, cold cereal, hot cereal, breads and more. The hotel was located in a very sae neighborhood. There are places to get food and drink close by and its a very quick drive into the city proper. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great nights stay. read more

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our move from Las Vegas to Chicago. Just before going to sleep, we found a BED BUG on the pillow of one of our beds (pictures included). After tearing apart the bed we didn't find any clusters of them in typical hiding spots. But underneath the bed made it clear the room hadn't been deeply cleaned in some time. There were other dead bugs and crumbs. We immediately requested a room change as we needed sleep and didn't have time to find another hotel before getting on the road 5 hours later. The other room thankfully had no signs of bugs but was still dirty and in disrepair. The mattress and sheets had stains on them, the carpet had a cigarette burn in it, the bed skirt had a vomit looking substance on it, the wall had gunk on it and the door edges were hanging off. Needless to say it was a sleepless night on top of all the covers. We would never ever stay at this hotel again - we had the creepy crawlies for days after! read more

This past weekend me and my niece stayed at the hampton inn while in Oklahoma for a car show. The staff here is wonderful. Just to mention a few Liz and James made us feel like we were at home. The fresh baked cookies in the evening, to making sure we had everything we needed and they even called us when we left ti make sure we knew the directions to the sprint store. They went above and beyond. I really recommend this hampton inn. I even told the manager he should go to the one is St. Louis to get the staff there to be more accommodating and friendly like the Oklahoma staff. Well done hampton inn staff. I don't want to forget any of the staff they all are great I just remembered james and liz names. read more

I spoke with Ryan at Hilton's Customer Care to discuss whether or not service animals are allowed at the Hampton Sand Springs location. He said no pets are allowed. When I explained I have registered service animals he said he would check again. When he came back he explained that unfortunately they don't accept pets. When I let him know about the ADA regulations for hotels, and that they have to allow service animals, he told me that the dog would be allowed in the hotel but he wasn't sure if I could take it into the room with me. Absolutely disgusted that your customer care reps are not aware of ADA regulations and were so ignorant. I wanted to stay at this location for my long Tulsa visit but instead I opted to pay more money and stay at a nicer hotel where the folks who work there realize that it's ILLEGAL to deny a service dog. read more

Easy to get to, parking was good (we travel with a truck and large trailer), rooms were clean and breakfast was pretty good. They even have "to-go" sacks with breakfast bars and fruit if you don't have time for the sit down breakfast. Nice large shower, and I loved the footrest in the shower for shaving my legs. I went downstairs to get breakfast and most of the food was gone, mind you this was only at 9:05am and there breakfast doesn't end till 10am. So I asked the cook serving breakfast if he can make some more eggs and he replied "how many eggs do you need?" So I replied "we have two rooms full of people up stairs and if he can make enough for all those people" his response was "awesome" sarcastically. So I replied "if it's a problem you don't have to make them" and then he left to cook them. So my daughter and I went up to the front desk to let them know what had just conspired and he came out and said something rude so I replied "that's good customer service" and he threw the pan of eggs across the breakfast area hitting people sitting at a table and almost hitting my grandson while yelling "F$#@ this job they don't pay me enough" which I replied "well that's real professional" which then he proceeds to charge at me and I turned to my daughter and told her to call the cops and he left. Management took 30 minutes to get to the location but refunded my money and refused to transfer us to a new hotel. read more

I enjoyed my stay at this Hampton Inn. I checked in late on a last Friday night and the staff was very helpful. I was upgraded to a King Bed room with a fridge, microwave, desk, pull out sofa and coffee table. The bed linen was spotless. The pillows and mattress were comfortable and firm. The bathroom was clean and there were plenty of towels and washcloths provided. There were lots of TV channels to choose from and HBO was free. The continental breakfast was good. Cheese omelets, biscuits, sausage patties and white gravy. There was also fresh fruit, juice, a waffle bar, fresh pastries. My checkout process was a breeze and I will stay here again. read more

A very comfortable option only about 10 minutes from downtown Tulsa. They also have a coffee bar that is stocked 24/7, which is a great amenity for traveling musicians such as ourselves. Cons: - My first room smelled like retirement home. - After a long day of traveling, I hop into the shower right after checkin and within the first three minutes of my shower, ALL THE WATER STOPS. I call the front desk, and he said that there has been a plumbing issue, and they're still fixing it. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT TO KNOW THIS DETAIL UPON CHECK-IN. I awkwardly wait half soapy for 40 minutes until I finally give up. I use whatever remaining water in the sink line to wipe down. - Hotel and rooms are VERY run down, especially the bathroom. - Some hair was remaining in the shower, and the tub floor needed immediate repair to restore a polished and clean look. - Carpets are bubbling and other details like that are completely neglected. Rooms need paint touch. - My second shower of the trip had NO HOT WATER. I didn't even bother to call. I just showered in the luke warm and put it past me. - Not the cleanest / tidiest hotel by any means, definitely feels like you're walking around in someone else's filth. Pros - Management does what's right. They compensated my first night due to the water issue with no hesitation from their end. - Quick and painless check-in - Free coffee and continental breakfast in the AM. It's not great but it's free. The woman manning the AM eaters is very friendly and helpful. read more

Had a room reserved at this Hampton Inn, explained to the front desk clerk that there was a slight chance we may not make it, and asked what their reservation policy was. She explained that we needed to let them know as early as possible so they would be able to rent the room(which I totally understand). I told her I was pretty sure we'd be there and if we weren't if let them know by 11pm. After the reservation was set I got a phone call about 10 minutes later, the clerk informed me that "their system was wrong and they actually didn't have the room we requested available". I understand that they have every right to do this, but it just seemed very shady. And usually where there's smoke there's fire. Just be wary in your dealings. read more
