Along the way, they reread The Polar Express, and then we arrived at the North Pole Building (which looked a bit like a church retreat). Once there, the actors put on a lively show, served hot chocolate, and then we got to meet Santa. He gave each child a silver bell--just like in the movie--which was such a special touch. The North fork Trolley want a sick child around other children just not to give a credit for the this year. This company is not credible or doesn't. really care about the welfare of a child. The North Fork Trolley would rather expose an entire trolley ride to a sick child than just give credit for the next year. I would not recommend this company to any family that wants their children to he healthy to enjoy the holidays.

Called Freedom Taxi, and Michael said that he could be there in 10 minutes. Told him that I had a small dog, but he was in a fully enclosed carrier. No problem. Uber and Lyft both charge extra for pets. Michael showed up and helped load everything. Very pleasant man, and when we got to the house, he very kindly lugged my heavy suitcase and backpack up the steps, He even called my dog, who was finally free of the carrier and running ecstatically! Michael gave me his card and said that I could call him from Calverton in future, and he'll be in WHB to get me. How very nice! While I do hope that my brother can pick me up next time, or maybe I'll leave my car at the station, it's very nice to know that I have an option. And Freedom Taxi was cheaper than both Uber and Lyft. Their prices were unreasonable for a short distance.

You have a great driver, Kevin, who is very knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and most of all patient to put up with all our drunken shenanigans during this past weekend's Yelp Beer Bus event. The bus itself is clean, comfortable, and has both a tv and dock for playing your Ipod's. It's a great way to get around and taste a lot of beer without having to worry about getting a DWI ! Kevin knows all the routes to some of the best local breweries, and is a big craft beer guy himself. They do many beer tasting events on LI and around the local NY area and have packages available for group trips, or shorter shuttles to the local brew tastings. Check out the website for upcoming beer events and rates. To me, it's totally worth the cost to enjoy a worry free, and safe day, rather than drinking and driving. We hit up Great South Bay, Long Ireland, and Port Jeff Brewing Company. That last stop in Port Jeff on a terrific spring day was just perfect to try some beers and then wander around the town for a bite to eat before heading back to the train station to drop us off. Kevin has a great little biz here that I wholeheartedly endorse. Also, between stops it pretty much became a beer fueled dance party bus with some moves going on that would put some strippers to shame! Yay beer!
