I was scheduled for an ultrasound and was sent downtown Dallas to their "flagship" location for this procedure. Travel time ( in the rain) took an hour, when my local Metroplex office ( Coppell) is 10 minuets away. During my procedure, I was asked why didn't I go the the Coppell branch? I investigated and learned Metroplex uses a traveling ultrasound provider and they visited the Coppell Metroplex office the day prior to my procedure. Following up with Marianne, Metroplex Clinical Supervisor 469-289-5438. I learned when I made my appointment, the traveling ultrasound service did not visit Coppell, only their downtown location. Fair enough. Where Metroplex failed is their inability our unwillingness to call me to reschedule my appointment for the office closest to me. An ultrasound is a pretty simple procedure and I resent the fact that I had to go downtown for this service when I could have saved time and gas by going to the local office. Lastly, the text mail reminders they send the day before your procedures, with the time and location of your appointment are incorrect. My appointment was for 9 AM an the text said it was for 9:30 AM. In an effort to determine the correct time I called to confirm my appointment the day before and was put on hold for 15 minutes before someone told me the correct time.

When I checked in I was told to send my…read moredigital insurance card to their office email address and did so right away, 40mins later the front desk staff told me they still hadn't received it, then backpedaled and said "oh I was looking for something else we do have it, NOW I'll check you in" so after another 40 minutes I was taken back to a room. The doctor just looked for half of a second and diagnosed, didn't run a single test or listen to my concerns about what was going on.
