I came here for a Wednesday evening dinner. At around 6pm is when it started getting super busy and all the tables were full. Lots of people ordering take out as well. My party of 3 ordered: - Pork Bone Soup - 4/5 - it was pretty good - Jaeyook Dupbap - 5/5 - flavours were great, perfect spice! - Bajirak Kalguksu - 2/5 - I wasn't a fan of this. It needed more flavour The banchan choices are great here! Their kimchi and potatos are good. Service was great! The staff were attentive and nice. Food came out at a good speed. Restaurant was clean. Lots of tables. The only downside was that there was no AC and we were very hot inside. Overall, a great Korean restaurant and I would definitely come again!

Service wasn't bad but one of the ladies definitely had some attitude lol I asked a general question about the spicy level for the gamjatang, but she said you can't adjust. And the next sec, she goes "so do u want it or not?". We ended up getting and it was decent also not too spicy. The seafood pancake was definitely a no. It wasn't as crispy as it looked and the oil was really stale. The japchae was also undercooked. Too many flies so it made it even more difficult to enjoy the food.

Small busy Korean restaurant. Service is hurried. Very tight space. Very generous portions. Family meal for 4 is enough to feed my group of 4 adults and 3 8-10 yr old kids. Combo for 4 comes with bulgogi, deep fried pork or chicken, seafood pancake or japchae, pork bone soup or ramen with rice cake soup.

A small casual atmosphere. I've tried lots of pork bone soup from many places. The meat here is very tender and falls off the bone, making it super easy to eat. The seafood pancake was loaded with seafood, though the taste was not very memorable. Overall, I had a good experience here. The service was quick and they did not rush us out the door even when we were done our meals.

One of my go to Korean spots. The portions are fairly big and food is usually fresh. The food is authentic and tasty. The service sometimes isn't the friendliest. It's a pretty busy spot, but you can make reservations for group 5 or more.

Decided to pop in here for dinner after seeing some good reviews and since we are regulars at another restaurant in the mall we thought it would be good to try another place. Menu was good. Good selection of stews and rice dishes and they have some interesting table top bbq combos. Prices are decent and comparable to other places with similar options. What was ordered: Kalbitang Assorted seafood and pork belly on rice Chicken Katsu All the dishes come with purple rice. Let's start with the good, the assorted seafood and pork belly on rice was really good, decent combination of seafood and meat. Seafood included mussels and squid. Good portion. The chicken katsu was meh (the person who ordered this is a fan of being habitual and will typically order this dish), the chicken was pounded really really thin! The biggest disappointment was the Kalbitang. 3 pieces of short ribs that were as tough as nails. There was one piece I had to abandon. It wasn't even chewable. The soup base was good. Could have used more clear noodles. The selection of banchan was good you get 5 dishes and there was a couple of dishes I don't regularly see such as seaweed and tofu. Service was okay. It was busy and there seem to be only 2 servers. 10% off if you pay with cash but they take credit as well. I really wanted to like this place and it seems really popular. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but it's such a basic dish that it was shocking that it wasn't done well. If I could do 3.5 stars I would but 4 would be too high.

Clean and simple flavours, Korean comfort food Food: Arrived on a weekend evening and the restaurant was packed, but luckily we were the first ones in line. There was a good variety of banchan to help get us started, and the portion sizes were fairly generous. First time having the bajirak kalguksu, and the clams were suprisingly clean and the broth was very light. The noodle texture was very nice. The gamjatang was also a bit lighter on flavour, but the bones didn't have a lot of meat. The japchae was very flavourful and came on a very large plate. Overall, the flavours were a bit lighter than other Korean restaurants, but everything tasted pretty good. Service: It was definitely a bit understaffed with two servers covering the entire restaurant's orders, but the aunties did their best to help everyone and the service was still pretty speedy. Atmosphere: The layout was very open and clean, with the tables being a little close together but it was a cozy space. Great for a meal to share for small families or friend get-togethers.

Located inside Richlane Mall, this korean resto has been around for many years now. The food is quite authentic even though the service is sometimes a lil bit shoddy during peak hours. COMBO A-2 FOLKS. The best freaking deal ever. You get sliced pork belly (for the grill), a seafood pancake, deep-fried pork/chicken AND a family size pork bone soup as well. The menu says that it "serves 4 ppl" but TRUST, it can possible serve 4-6. I'm a big eater and I had enough food (my friends were tapping out by the time the pork bone soup came around). Pork belly: Nice, thick cut pork with a good amount of meat and not just super fatty. The grill was angled and had a drip funnel to drain all the excess grease. Seafood pancake: Big pancake. Lots of seafood. One of the best seafood pancakes in Richmond Hill. Tangsuyook (deep fried pork): The pork was still crispy and juicy despite being covered by the sticky, sweet sauce. The sauce was a thick, apple-based sauce. HUGE plate of pork. Fam-size pork bone soup: Some CHONKY cuts of pork bone and no potato in the soup (which was great). They toned down the spiciness a lil bit which I appreciated. I rmbr coming in the past w/ my friends and the PBS was insanely spicy. Ppl must've said something haha. A-2 Combo is the way to go here. GUARANTEE YOU'LL FEEL FULL.

One of the best Korean restaurants we've been to! We ordered: * #14 Ramen Tteokbokki * #5 Seolleongtang Service was speedy and efficient. We didn't wait at all to get seated, and food didn't take long. There's plenty of seating inside. It's good for family, small group of friends, and couples. I liked the booth we sat in. One thing, their kimchi is so fresh and tasty. It might be the best kimchi I've ever had in my life. And gotta love unlimited sides For $38, this meal was a steal.

Been here numerous times, bout time I get off my lazy butt and write a review. Located inside a small mall building, Richlane mall with plenty of parking. A hidden gem with great authentic Korean dishes, can get busy during peak lunch and dinner periods. Ordered the soft tofu seafood soup and Bibimbap in stone pot. Soup contained bits of octopus, mussels, shrimp, etc. alongside generous amounts of soft tofu in a rich flavorful broth. Enough seasoning to give it the right about of spiciness, so comforting, especially now that the weather is turning. Comes sizzling bubbling hot to your table. Bibimbap in stone pot also arrived hot and sizzling at the table, gochujang bottle at each table to add additional flavor to your preference. Food quality/flavor always consistent, service staff always helpful. They got it right

Tucked away in Richlane Mall is this Korean hidden gem. You know it's a good restaurant when there is a lineup to get in and it was well worth the wait! I been there before and remembered it was good but this time around my friends and I were impressed with the service, quality and food and price. We ordered a number of dishes Pork Bone soup family size. Kalbi, Bimbim Bap, Tteokbokki (rice tubes), and Kampoongki. Everything came out fairly quickly considering it was quite busy. The star was the Kampoongki (sweet sour & spicy chicken), it was the best we had anywhere and every table had it. Everything was very good but a slight miss was the bimbim bap that had no rice which was different but I still liked it. The mini sides were the jap chae, kimchi, sweet potato cubes and bean sprouts. We had a top up as on a few of them. The price per person ended up to be very reasonable. This place is a winner and we will be coming back here for sure.

I might have found my new go to spot for Korean food in Richmond Hill! Han Mi Jeong has been a long time staple at Richlane Mall and for good reason! They have your classic spread of KBBQ Table Cooking, stews and à la carte items to give a nice taste of home for anyone looking for a good home cooked meal. The Tangsooyook (Sweet and Sour Pork) is crispy with the right amount of sauce to coat the fried pork. The apples add a nice texture and delicate sweetness to enjoy with rice. The Haeemool Pajeon (Seafood Pancake) is one of my favourites as the seafood is cooked perfectly with the green onions and pancake batter. It is best enjoyed with the side sauce! The Jokbal is what everyone comes to the restaurant for. Accompanied with lettuce, garlic and Jalapeños, you can enjoy the texture of the pork hock in this humble dish! You may need to grab a reservation and for good reason! This place can get packed for some good flavor and good cooking!

Han Mi Jeong! My go-to spot in Richmond hill for Pork Bone soup! (Or Korean food in general) Food - $$ - food is amazing, flavorful, hearty & homey. Love a good pork bone soup, fall off the bone. (Was so good I forgot to take a pic). Generous portion, comes with plenty pork bone w lots of meat on the bone. I also come here for the chicken Katsu, fresh, crispy, generous portions. You get sliced up cutlets approx 2. W / purple rice & katsu sauce (a creamy-based sweet sauce). Of course it comes with small side dishes! Kimchi was my favorite dish, something about their kimchi!!! I can eat so much of it. Amazing batch the day we came. Service - excellent. Attentive. Efficient. Works together as a team! Polite :) Always coming back. If you hadn't tried it, come!

Since the weather was so warm, we wanted something refreshing and not too heavy, so ordered 물냉면 (Cold Noodles) and 산채비빔밥 (Wild Vegetable Bibimbap). Both mains tasted exactly how we were expected them to, neither with overpowering flavours, saltiness -- balanced well. Server came around mid-meal to ask if everything was good and if we needed any refills of the banchan. There's a 5% discount if you pay with cash, but they do accept card payment as well. They feature a simple menu of typical Korean food from hot soup to bibimbap, Korean fried chicken and charcoal grill. The shared meal options are a bit limited but each individual portion comes with a set of different banchan side dishes on a meal tray. The flavours were a tad mild in the donkatsu and the potato in pork bone soup, in contrast to the in-you-face seasoning that I'm used to in Korean food. Pork bone soup ($19.50) was piled high with a sizzling hot broth and 3 sides that surprisingly didn't include kimchi cabbage. King donkatsu ($23.50) featured fried pork cutlet in a truly huge wingspan topped with an aromatic curry sauce; a portion that was enough for two meals. Since one menu item is required per guest, we also had the Kids Special ($14.50) with katsu & bulgogi served in a fun toy car. The dining interior vibes were decent with tables spaced out along each side wall. But the corridor to the restroom and the rooms themselves were messy and dirty which detract from the vibes. Service was friendly with occasional follow-ups and the place got busy during the latter part of our weekend lunch meal. Skip it or hit it? It's good Korean fare in the area. Just note pricing is higher than I'm used to elsewhere albeit with good portions that made up for it.
