[[HIGHLIGHT]]Came here for dinner with my family and enjoyed all of it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their dumplings are pretty massive and their seafood pancake is the bomb!!!!

Great value for the price! My favourite were the noodles in their flavourful beef bone broth. Second fave are their king dumplings - lots of meat and flavour. The third would be the beef or pork bulgogi - that one in itself didn't blow us away but the combo meal was definitely great value. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came on a Saturday night and it was completely packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's a small seating area so expect a wait a bit.

Small restaurant but fast service. Our party of 5 came for a late dinner on Thanksgiving Monday evening. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is bright but tight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We crammed into our 4-seat table, and they added a chair at the end to fit our 5th person.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No worries because the food is WORTH it. Such great banchans (different ones come with different combos), fresh kimchi and soups/stews (loved the kalguksu). Their mandoo (dumplings) have fantastic flavour and texture too.

Small Korean restaurant beside Baton Rouge. This sis my second time here. On entry, if there is a line, you enter your information and they will text you when a table is ready. Today we had the Pork Bulgogi Jungsik. The beef broth was a little bland. The pork was tender but a bit fatty. The seasoning and flavour were good. There was a lot of onions which I guess is used to increase the serving. Bulgogi and Kalgusu combo. The beef was chewy for the most part. This however still had a nice flavour. This was also how it was the first time I came so it seems to be an issue for this restaurant. The soup with this combo was good. The beef serving size is smaller than the pork. Service was minimal.

Solid soup noodles - I was very impressed with the flavor of the beef soup. The combos offer good variety and are excellent value for the price. Service was efficient and the food came out quickly. (However when we asked for another napkin, we were literally given one napkin.) It gets busy at peak meal times, so be prepared to wait for a table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also it doesn't look like they have tables for groups larger than 4, so large groups may have to split up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

How it took me over a year to return to this restaurant, I have no idea. In fact, I can't believe I resisted for so long. This restaurant's kalguksu is comfort food in a bowl. Rich, flavourful broth paired with perfectly sliced, chewy noodles. Don't skip out on their giant dumplings either! You get so much bang for your buck here, even if the bowl of noodles doesn't look like a lot of food. Whether you're dining solo or with a larger group, there's something for everyone. There's usually a line out the door, so be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times.

It's Korean home cooking in a fastfood design restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Looks clean and nice decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the beef combo with noodle soup. It comes with a variety of side dishes which is average except for the kimchi which was served in a separate bowl. Well made very fresh only thing is should had left to ferment for a couple more days to bring it's savoriness. I greatly recommend the kimchi If looks could be deceiving then I have been a victim over and over again. I thought the noodles in the soup would just be a regular soggy soft noodles but instead it was firm and al dente and the soup itself if between light and savory and it's good. The steamed gyozas are huge and every bite juices comes dripping out if you are not too careful you might find juices all over your clothes. I took some leftover gyozas home. And I question the way they handled their food because the next day I have experience some stomach issues and thought maybe the kimchi but found out my son also ate the leftover gyozas and also experience the same stomach issue I have. I saw other patrons also ordered gyozas not sure if they had any problems also. Now I'm having second thoughts going back to that place.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect for the cool weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Small restaurant with a small menu so they're specializing in their kalguksu noodles. I also always take a small pack of kimchi home too because it is so good!

Still my favourite place in Markham to get Korean dumplings and noodles. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only downside is the restaurant is small so if you come during mealtimes, you most likely have to wait[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I love their kimchi dumplings!!

Great spot for Korean noodles! It was dinner time on Saturday and we already saw a crowd of people waiting outside for a table. We signed up on the waitlist and got a text about 20 minutes later to let us know our table was ready. We ordered two kalguksu combos, one with spicy pork and the other with bulgogi. This was my first time trying kalguksu which was essentially a bowl of fresh noodles in a beef broth with some veggies (I think it was zucchini?). This was a really comforting dish on a cold day! It also came with a bunch of side dishes and kimchi which were the highlight in my opinion. The bulgogi also tasted yummy, however I found the spicy pork a bit too spicy for my taste buds. It was a good thing the combo came with a bowl of rice! I can see why there is a wait for the food here. It's fresh, delicious, and has great value!

First time trying. Nice Korean noodles & dumpling place. Conveniently located in Richmond Hill. No need to go north Korea (Yonge-Finch) or south Korea (downtown) when you crave traditional K-food! Those HUGE mandus are quite impressive, and the set dinners are also good. A quick and easy place with reasonable prices. Easily get crowded. Recommend visiting early to avoid the line.

Came here on a Thursday night and it was quite busy. There's a tablet right when you enter to add yourself to the waitlist. They'll message you when your table is ready. The interior was normal, there was photographs of the food throughout the restaurant. We waited for approximately 20 minutes. I love that the menu had images of each item. We got the kimchi pork Mandu, bibim naengmyun (cold noodle) and the kalguksu (knife cut noodles). Kimchi was served as a side and it was pretty good! I can tell it's was home made and not store bought. The cold noodle was okay, it was served with vinegar and mustard. I wish there was a bit more sauce/soup though. The mandu was alright as well, it was pretty thick and packed with a lot of filling. Overall, a decent Korean restaurant to go to.

It comes with 1 hot clay pot rice, 1 soup noodle, and a decent sized snack. A few choices for each of these items. Check the menu out. Honestly can't ask for more and this is why it gets jam packed easily at lunch time. Good news is that people are usually eat-and-go without sticking around for long. So even with the crowd, you might be able to get a seat in 10~15 min during the busiest time. Alternatively, quite a bit of people simply call-in for takeout's and Uber. Awesome price-value, decent comfort food with great taste, jam-packed at lunch time. Not a bad choice.

It was really oily, though the noodles were really nice and chewy. I found the pool of oil quite difficult to get past though. Next we got the classic beef noodles. We went for the flat, soft noodles which were great. As they state though, it gets really soft and mushy after a bit, so I recommend maybe sticking with the regular chewy noodles. The beef was soft and the radish was sweet. The soup base was comforting in a way but also very heavily salty. I couldn't tell if there was just a lot of MSG in there, but I couldn't sip on the soup much. We also ordered the shan xin bao, which is a fried soup dumpling of sorts. The breading was really thick and the soup was quite sweet. Not really the taste we were use to. We also got the pig ear and cucumbers cold dish. This was absolutely swimming in oil as well. They chop up black bean in there for flavour and it just added a really bitter taste. We didn't end up touching most of this, opting to bring it home, rinse it, and re-season it ourselves instead so the food wouldn't be wasted. All in all, the service is nice. I think the baked rice could be worth a try, but there's a lot of great noodle options in the area I personally prefer. As always, give it a try! They have a lot of great reviews on Yelp, so it potentially just doesn't suit my preferences.

You can also switch it up and have it come with other ingredients such as fish tofu, or brisket. Definitely recommend to come try. There is a bit of a wait often when I come on the weekend but service is quick and speedy, in a typical hk-Asian style. The space is also a converted house so the layout is a bit odd and a bit hot in some corners, but manageable. If you cannot do steep steps, ask the servers to have you seated on the main level.
