It's a good store to visit. It has a bunch of things to buy as a groceries and also has great options for some plate food typically in that side of the town if you reach there and you're gonna be driving back, this is a great store to stop by and buy some local Food. Fill up gas. There are cold cut sandwiches too however, just right next to that store. There are a bunch of food trucks that you can try, which is amazing.. I love the service of this place in general because it's in the little town and everybody over. There are friendly know everybody has drove a couple of hours to get there and they're gonna drive back again. It's a chill and cool vibe atmosphere and ambience there. read more

A store that has most general items although they surprisingly don't have instant noodles. The store setup was very simple, just rows of packaged goods with frozen products in the very back and produce on the right. There were some items that I was surprised they had, including blue Takis, shrimp chips and baby food. Unfortunately they didn't have an instant noodles so canned food had to suffice. The produce didn't look very fresh although I appreciated having some greens. This store had a decent selection of alcohol, chips and ice cream. The hot food menu seemed reasonably priced although they weren't readily being prepared. They accept credit cards and cash. The cashier was friendly but I wished their register displayed the prices for all the items. Some items had scratched out labels so the corresponding prices were questionable. This wasn't the cheapest convenience store considering our group's purchase of snacks exceeded $70 but I'm grateful that this was an available option. read more

This was the only store we knew that opened at 8am. We needed to pick up provisions before we made it out to Waimoku Falls for the hike. This convenient store is packed with everything you will need: medication, ice, water, drinks, snacks and perhaps hot food but none was available so early in the morning. The chip aisle was a bit scarce. Be prepared to pay Hana convenient store prices (our 4 waters, 4 bags of chips, a bag of cuties and cough medicine came out to $90) but the lady behind the counter was pleasant. read more

This was a local grocery store which took me back in time to more like the 70s or 80s, but it's perfect for the ambience of Hāna. It had everything we needed. I suggest carrying more gluten-free bread items. The service was great. The people were very friendly. read more

I stopped in here on a whim as I was in dire need of water. Originally I was looking for another general store in Hana, but since this store was just up the hill from the Bank of Hawaii (Hana Branch), I just popped in just to buy a bottle of water. A very small store, that carries an array of drinks, snacks, and any last minute nick knacks you probably forgot if you came out to Hana town. Stores like this is very important in the Hana community, since driving out to Hana is a long & winding trek. I can imagine if you forgot some important items, the convenience factor of this store is what will actually save you! Through the years the Hana Ranch Store has probably done something right, as I saw a sign posted outside of the business that said it was established back in 1830! WOW! Unbelievable! read more

They have almost everything we need for a little store. They also serve warm and good meals here. Staff are very friendly.

As the Hana Ranch Restaurant was not serving alcohol to go with our Lunch, Gayle, Erin, and I wandered over here to pick up some adult beverages to bring back, as suggested by cafe staff. COVID restrictions were good, but the selection was slim pickings and quite frankly the place looked a little tired. But as one of the few convenience options in these parts, I was grateful for the opportunity and the efforts of their hard working staff. read more

There are slim pickings for grocery stores in Hana. I originally was looking to purchase basics so we could cook breakfast the next day. I wasn't prepared. The store is small and cramped. There are basic necessities and I enjoyed perusing the store. One of the things I came here for, I couldn't find were eggs. My Sweetie and I walked up and down the aisles several times with no luck. We ended up leaving empty-handed. We decided we will try our luck trying to find some food in the morning instead. read more

Hana Ranch Store was open so we could grab a light dinner. I saw a sign said Take Out Food, but what I saw was hotdogs & chili up in front by the cashier. I guess that's what I'm having for dinner. I wanted chili in a bowl, but I didn't call it that. I said Hot Dog with Chili in a Container, she goes "you wanted a chili dog in a container yah?" First and foremost the Food was not as I expected. I ordered the fresh fish and it was good. The snag was the 8 bones that I found and the cucumber salad that was cut cucumbers. The second dish was the shrimp linguini. It was a great attempt at a classic. The prawns were not seasoned well. The final straw was the service. The stars for this evening came from the Garlic Prawns. I would highly recommend them. read more

There aren't many place for grocery shopping on road to Haha. I'm glad to find this market in the area. The store is clean and well organized with basic supplies like over- the-counter medicines, soaps, fruits, drinks, etc. They have very good selection of local vegetables and fruits. The price is compatible with regular market. So, next time when your are visiting Hana bay and forget somethings, no worry. They do close early though but so as everything else here! read more

Love coming here when we are in town. We always heard up here to get a few things. Like if we forget stuff from home they usually have it here or if we'r needed ice which we're always do they might have it if it's not a busy weekend. Staff are friendly and attentive. read more

Rudest staff you will ever meet . The two women at the front counter yelled at us as we walked in Because my fiancé was in the middle of putting his mask on when he walked in, and they said even though his mask was on as soon as he was inside the store he had to walk out and do it again. Then they proceeded to shout at us, telling us they did not know us. It was almost as if they became unhinged and were possibly off of their medication. I find the place dangerous and would warn anybody on entering the store. Pretty sad because it looks like Hana could really use the tourism business. Will not be returning again. read more

We got to Hana pretty late and Hana Ranch Store opens later (7:30pm) than Hasegawa (7pm). You're really in the middle of nowhere so our only choice was to go to Hana Ranch Store for provisions. Picked up a few snacks and drinks. The selection here isn't as good as Hasegawa and it's really more like a 7-Eleven than a general store. They have this homemade chili over rice that was pretty tasty. Other than that, this place is just a convenience store. Oh, one more thing, you'll have sticker shock when you go to pay. Get over it. You're in Hana and things are bit more pricey, but don't let the price tag deter you from spending a night here. read more

Stopped in to get their Chili&Rice since someone told me it was so ono. The service was okay and the chili rice hit the spot. I think i inhaled it before I even began my long windy drive back to Kahului. But the whole reason that I am writing this review is because I bought this energy drink for the drive back. It was so good. And then I forgot the name (Reed's). Well, four days later, I call the store asking them to look for this drink. The guy who answered the phone was helping me and read every label of every energy drink they had. He even described the drinks to me and the color of the cans, and he never ever sounded annoyed at me. i was like WHOAH! How's him?! So friendly. So aloha. Came to this store early evening on 7/9/16, Saturday, and bought a few items. Went to pay and guy behind counter wasn't too friendly. After giving me back my change, I told him "thanks" and he responded "ok!" Not "you're welcome" but "ok!" When I used to work retail I was taught to say "thank you" to the customers or "you're welcome or welcome." On top of that I'm a local & kamaaina visiting from the other side of the mountain! We stayed in Hana for a week last winter and had a kitchen suite. The Maui Beef is the BEST ever - almost worth a swim back to get some.. ha ha . I did not find the prices unreasonable if you want to eat healthy. If you want to buy prepackaged foods expect the paradise tax. We always make our meals from scratch so we found the prices on everything reasonable. My husband got addicted to the MELONA bars in the back freezer - he just had to have one a day. Chili is great with rice! read more
