Mau'i Lavender & Botanicals is an absolutely sweet little cottage located near the base of Haleakala. This hidden gem features the best Lavender Sweet Tea around, and a wide array of lavender products. I always stop by and visit Kathy whenever I'm in town. And everytime I step through her doorway there's always something new. Her Lavender crunch is out of this world! You must stop by!

Not much happening on the side of this crater, but if you're on the way down, this is not a bad stop. Aggressively lavender-themed, they offer a mix of mostly sweet food items (as well as a gift shop of soaps and stuff). Lavender lemonade is a fairly intuitive (and delicious combination), but amazingly enough, lavender cinnamon rolls aren't bad either. Their facilities are limited so I wouldn't expect quick service or a great deal of options, but it was a nice novelty stop, and a consolation prize given the clouds that regularly cover the mountainous areas.

Cute quaint coffee house which has lot more to offer! We had the traditional chai and hot chocolate and both were delightful and yummy! The garden is beautiful with lots of fruit bearing trees and lavender plants of course. We went during the non flowering season, so no pretty lavender field pics and stuff. Definitely try this place!! Grab a cup and then take a stroll along the garden beds, seeing the trees with a picturesque backdrop!

What a gem of a cafe! We had just come down from a long hike on the mountain, and this place was exactly what we needed. I got a hot coffee with macadamia milk (strong, smooth, nutty, and delicious) and my boyfriend had a lavender infused cold brew (rich with a subtle lavender after taste, and ice cubes made of coffee). We also split a brioche cinnamon sugar roll donut which were from Donut Dynamite, made by a baker who apparently won a donut competition on the Food Network! It was sooo delicious. The customer service was also excellent, and we managed to find a nice bar of lavender soap to bring back home as a gift for someone.

We decided to check out the lavender farm unfortunately there were no lavender blooming. The view was nice and there were plenty of plants to look at but I don't think it was all that.

A wonderful, peaceful place to rest on the road to volcano. The food, coffee, lavender tea, service, soaps, facial creams and atmosphere over is incredible! The little shop is designed to make you feel like home! This is MUST to do while visiting Maui!

Charming. Inviting. A great place to rest and enjoy the stunning views and aromas this place has to offer. We didn't go in expecting to have a big meal so the snacks and sweet treats were delightful. Had a chance to chat it up with Kathy and she was a wonderful. Can't wait to visit again in the future. Not just a rest stop, a must stop!

I look forward to coming back here. The breakfast tacos are tasty and the cafe is well-situated on the way to Haleakala Crater. I stopped by a second time after a fun day of zip lining and horseback riding, both literally next door! I enjoyed a coffee and the wonderful view from their nearby gazebo. If you have time, take a walk around their gardens which include lavender plants.

I'm not sure why this place gets such a low rating from people. Did anyone else go to any other lavender farm? The larger lavender farm (Ali'i Kula) costs $3 for parking (just to see the view you could see from Haleakala), while this one has ample amounts of parking. The service is excellent. The lady who helped us was extremely sweet and gave us free sprigs of lavender for purchasing various products. The food was soooo delicious! We had the lavender tea and the lemonade. Their lemonade was superior to Ali'i Kula's lemonade. We bought the Maui tacos, which were perhaps the best tacos I have ever had. Sure they are a little pricy, but isn't all food in Hawaii expensive? Don't have unrealistic expectations about food prices in Hawaii... It's not Cali!

Quick stop coming off haelelaka ...was really disappointed that the lavender farm itself wasn't very large and not really picturesque. Everything lavender in the gift shop but it's all very over priced. Best food purchased was the lavender shortbread. Worth a 10 min stop in. Oh btw yelp..somewhere it was advertised you got a free hot tea for checking in - their answer "no sorry, we don't even use yelp anymore"

We talked to all the other locals that bought lots of other items like the pineapples, greens, jalapenos, broccoli etc. They all lived close by while we came from Lahaina, about an hour away for this adventure of a farmers market. A nice drive of Maui Hawaaian splendor was well worth it to procure all these earthly bounties! I cooked the sweet carrots & potatoes, washed the tomatoes & fruit to be ready for endless beach day (s)!! Everything was fresh, tasty & delicious. That's the best if you can get a panopoly of fresh tasty local fare. Scooping out the seeds of lilikoi right now.... Simple yum.
