    Bowl full of zucchini

Not sure why they're so cheap or why they can't do the basics right. I ordered the super express bowl, and they over cooked my steak, when I asked for medium well. It was hard to chew the meat. They gave me 3 shrimps. I replaced my rice with extra veggies. I got three broccoli, and a bowl full of zucchini. I thought I'd get more broccoli, but I guess they ran out. The chicken was slightly the only thing they got right. This is probably the last time I order from here.

Visited here about a week ago. It was mediocre. We had the dragon roll, the Mexican roll, and 2 cups of miso. The miso was weak, the Mexican roll was okay, and the rainbow roll was pretty good. The place was clean. All and all it was decent. 3 star experience

The place is super clean, the service was quick and the food was really good. We had the hibachi steak and teriyaki chicken. The egg rolls were amazing and super delicious. We had 3 sushi rolls California, spicy crab and Hanami roll. Hope You enjoy as much as we did!!

The place is very clean with lots of seating. There are a lot of menu choices from bowls to entrees to appetizers and sushi choices. My hubby had the super bowl with steak and shrimp. It was very very bland and he kept having to add salt, pepper and sauces. I had the steak and chicken hibachi plate. Too much rice and, yes, mine was a bit bland, too. Our son got the pork ramen bowl and really enjoyed it. A lot of food. The sushi rolls were the Hanami roll and the fantasy roll. They were yummy, but nothing memorable. Mine actually fell apart. All in all, the experience was good, the food worked after we seasoned it better. It was good, but it's not a place I will purposely seek out.

This was a good find off the highway. Sushi and noodles, miso soup all were very good. Well worth the stop.

Quick service. They serve tofu which is great for us. We also love the seaweed salad.

Best sushi in Pooler. There are other places but I rate Sushi Hana as number 1. The Black Angel…read moreRoll is incredible. The other food is pretty tasty as well but I am primarily there for the sushi.

SERVICE 1/5: no "irashaimase" or even a "welcome in." we walked in and was met with blank stares…read morefrom the waitresses. We walked halfway in and nothing and my husband had to walk directly to a waitress to ask if we seat ourselves. She pointed at the table and grabbed who would be our server. I guess we interrupted her conversation. Our server on the other hand was sweet, however, I had a hard time hearing what she was saying because her voice was so low. We did not have any qualms about our server. She was good. A lot of servers were openly on their phones, specifically the sushi chefs behind the counter. They would stare off into the distance or be on their phones until summoned to make a nigiri. It wasn't necessarily slow, there were quite a few patrons there. When we left there was a young girl at the enterance clearing off a seating chart and not a single person thanked us as we were exiting. Obviously you don't have to be Japanese to run a Japanese restaurant, but at least do the bare minimum of service that is uniquely Japanese. AMBIANCE 2/5: the set up and decorations felt all over the place, nothing was a cohesive design. It's as if they just went to Ross and found anything Asian inspired (not specifically Japanese) and purchased it. FOOD 3/5: it wasn't anything to write home about. I did enjoy the scallop nigiri but it was $6.50 for 2 pc. Presentation of nigiri was wild too, they put 2 nigiri on a 12 in platter lol it's as if they ran out of small plates? The grilled squid was what got our attention to come here and it was ok. It was grilled fine, just the way i like it. I did like that hint of ume or shiso they sprinkled in there but the dish also came at the end, after I've already eaten my entre. It was Iisted as a hot appetizer but came after the entre, so I ate it without any rice. The lava roll was very good and there was an abundance of imitation crab meat on top. The "angry dragon" roll was interesting because they used pink tofu skin, which i thought was unique. Flavorwise, not as spicy as the name insinuates. I did appreciate the water tasted smooth and not like faucet water. COST 2/5: obviously, prices are high everywhere now and on top of that this is a sushi restaurant. We paid $80 something inc tip for miso soup, 3 rolls and 1 grilled squid. I definitely feel it is a little pricey and I'm not willing to pay $40/person when the food is mid and service is subpar. Overall, I'd give this place a 2/5. There were a couple of enjoyable food items, but the lack of basic hospitality, scattered ambiance, awkward timing of dishes, and higher price point made the experience feel underwhelming. For about $40 per person, I expected more than mid-tier food and subpar service.
