This place is such a great little hole in the wall. Located in a small shopping plaza next to a beauty & liquor store. Definitely gives you mom & pop shop vibes which I love. I've probably eaten my way through half of their menu and I've ordered a good chunk of the sushi too. Their seafood soup is delicious with shrimp, krab not to be confused with real crab, scallops and mussels. I don't want to be misleading so know this soup isn't overflowing with seafood but just a few of each to get you ready for your meal. Still a great starter! On to the sushi. Always super fresh and perfectly made. Whether you're into sashimi or the fried rolls you can't go wrong here. They truly have something for all sushi lovers. A favorite of mine is the spicy volcano roll. Absolutely delicious. The sashimi combo is AMAZING! especially the yellowtail. I've ordered several different entrees over my many visits. Yakisoba is always a top pick for me. The noodles are perfectly cooked with an abundance of shrimp. The bowls (tamago don) comes with rice and their rice is so buttery and soft. I've been to other asian restaurants where the rice is gummy and overcooked but not here. I recently tried the bourbon chicken and it was a good balance of sweet and savory flavors. I've been a regular here. Between the delicious food and the great customer service it's become one of my favorite spots. The young lady that works there is so kind and helpful. She is so knowledgeable and always suggests new sushi for me to try. I've yet to be disappointed in anything I've eaten here.

I always like finding a new favorite place! And this is our new favorite go to for sushi! Don't let the outside fool you. My daughter and I decided to check it out while shopping near by. The food was excellent. Service was fast. There is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant so parking isn't a problem. The price was very reasonable especially the lunch menu. We had the salad with ginger dressing and miso soup as appetizers. They were both very yummy. They have lots of combo's and one will certainly include what you are wanting. We also ordered a vegetable tempura which was very good. They give you two of each veggie so it's perfect to share. They have lots of veggie roll options. They have lots of drink options including a few different Japanese beers. We can't wait to go again!

First visit for lunch, food and service was excellent. Salmon Bento box was filling and beautifully presented. My girls enjoyed the Bourbon chicken, fried rice and eel lunch specials.

Sakura is doing dine-in so we stopped for sushi. Our regular place only had takeout. We started with fried dumplings and they were delicious. I had a Sakura roll with tuna and avocado, RJ had the Satsuki roll with crab and cucumber. Both were tasty and fresh. We also shared some seafood tempura. Service was fast and friendly. We were in and out in about 30 minutes, prices were reasonable. This was a good find.

We looked around and happened to stumble on the street this restaurant is located. We looked it up on Yelp (of course) real quick and saw it looked decent. It was about an hour before closing on a Monday night. We were seated right away. I looked over the menu and when our server came we asked if we could modify our order and she said of course, everything was made to order so modification were not an issue. This was great since my son wanted chicken fried rice with no veggies, just chicken and egg. They happily made this for him. I like sushi, sort of. I really don't care for most fish, so I like what I call fake sushi. The sweet potato tempura roll was perfect for me. My sister pointed out the Jack roll and it was again, perfect no modifications needed. I orders were done in less than 15 minutes. Everything tasted fresh. It was some of the best rolls I've had in a long time. The food was great and the service was great. I had no complaints and would love to visit again.

We had their crispy spicy tuna appetizer with crispy square rice on the bottom and they were so good. For the main entree I ordered their butabara kimchi ramen and it was what I needed, the broth was rich, savory, and the kimchi really brings the broth flavor more dimensional. The ramen noodle texture was cooked to perfection and the pork belly paired so well in this ramen. My husband ordered the A5 wagyu rib eye and the steak melt in your mouth. There's a great selections of Japanese Whiskey, Sake and cocktails. We had a reservation and when we entered it was a bit confusing with people all over the place in the entrance not sure whether waiting to speak to the hostess or just casually waiting to be called for their table. After getting sorted we spoke to the hostess and then were shortly seated. The waiter came and took our drink orders right away. We got 2 cokes and a Whiskey Sour with Japanese Whiskey. After waiting about 15 min the waiter came back to take our food order, however we still had not gotten our drinks. We asked and said they were coming swiftly. Finally after 10 minutes later our drink orders came in. The cokes were flat but the Whiskey Sour was really good. I can't remember the waiters name but honestly she came by maybe 4 times the whole night and did not have the best attitude. The best thing about Ukiyo hands down was the food. Everything from the Ramen to the wagyu bao buns, just Wow. The wagyu was so crispy and just melted in your mouth. The ramen had amazing flavor profiles and was perfectly spiced. We also ordered the Chicken Karaage and this was so tender with the citrus mayo. This was also pretty big so were easily filled with all these dishes. The food and cocktails were amazing but the service really did disappoint from the delays and infrequent interactions.

(My little cousin got chocolate cake for lunch. That's it. The perks of traveling with your grandparents! LOL) Several of us also got adult beverages...they had a decent selection to chose from. My po boy was really good and the sweet potato fries were excellent. The shrimp salads and tacos were enjoyed as well. The hush puppies and the BUTTER were amazing! I thought the calamari was just a little tough (but not the worst) and the clam chowder was thin...more of a soup. Overall we highly enjoyed our meal and would recommend this place if you would like some fried seafood!
