We had a large party, and our server worked diligently and was very attentive throughout the experience! We were advised that the kitchen was backed up and that there would be a delay with the food. Half of the party had to send parts of their meals back. One member ordered the lobster and shrimp and reported that it was cold. Another member had the salmon and chicken and said the chicken was hard and cold. After it was remade, they reported that it was excellent. Two other members of our party noted that the meat in their entrées was cold, while the rice that came out a few minutes later was hot. Most of the party reported enjoying their meals. Have been here several times but each time the food was worse, the service was less than and the cleanliness was nil! What happened? Ordered the filet and scallops and the filet tasted rancid. They took it off our bill but were none too happy about it. And they yanked the plate away so fast we felt the wind. Full bar means one type of vodka. Really? Do better. After reading the reviews, we were hesitant to come here but my fiance really wanted hibachi so we took a chance and I'm so glad we did. We were extremely happy with our experience. The hibachi chef was very entertaining and the entire staff was friendly. Our portions were huge!! We got the hibachi chicken and steak and both were delicious. There were 6 of us and we all had hibachi dinners. The skill and entertainment of the grill chef was fun to watch even though it is standard presentation each time. The food was prepared well. This is a revamp and redecorate from the previous restaurant. I'm not sure if it is different management or ownership. Over all the food was very good and the presentation is wonderful. There are a few things that keep me from giving it 4 and 5 stars though that believe could be easily addressed at which point I would adjust my score. 1. Cleanliness of the fish and turtle tanks as it is a bit off putting seeing them swim in in very algae heavy water. 2. More staff - they were loaded at about 1/3 capacity and it was rather challenging to get service. To be fair she was very polite and tried hard but was unable to keep up. She needed help for sure and watched management staff watch her work. She forgot to bring out one of my orders and I couldn't tell her as she was way to busy to come by and see how we were doing. When she did come back by I politely asked her to remove it from my bill. She offered to bring it out but we were all done with our meals. She apologized and did remove it. Again i really believe she was just overwhelmed so do not misunderstand this as her fault alone she needed help. 3. Stock levels - they were out of the cut of beef I had asked for which would be understandable towards the end of an evening on a weekend but it was a Friday at 6:00 PM which seems early post work day and gathering family and going out to eat. I will support their business as I try to do with all small business. I hope they see this and work on those simple things and foresee great things in their future. 8/11/24 My wife and I just ate lunch here. As I just left the restaurant, I had to run back in to the bathroom from the parking lot. I had a terrible case of diarrhea. Got home only to find my wife running to the bathroom as well. We aren't sure what caused this, but it was definitely something we ate!! Not the most welcoming place upon arrival. We came here about an hour before closing and the owner was actually sitting down and EATING at the first table as soon as you walk in the restaurant (not a good impression). We were told that we missed the hibachi and had to be seated regular, which we understood. The menus were very old, bent up, stained, and had prices written in pen. I attempted to order one of their signature cocktails on the menu but was told that they couldn't make it. We ordered the hibachi and it was drowned in a dark sauce which made the dish very soupy. Vegetables had a weird tart flavor. The miso soup didn't taste fresh at all. Everything seemed sort of thrown together. Did not enjoy our experience. read more

The ramen and pho menu was extremely confusing and looked poorly made which was a huge red flag. I ended up ordering the "beef" pho and it was the worst I've ever had. They served it with the wrong noodles that were very undercooked. The soup had literally no flavor nor did I receive any side toppings like mint or bean sprouts, which was another red flag. The tickets were separated by 2's and 3's. Our ticket for a party of 2 had a Gratuity charge of $10.87! No where on the menu did it state that gratuity would be charged for at least 2 people together. #2. I speak for all 7 of us when I say that the food was absolutely Horrible! My hibachi shrimp were fried hard, tasted rubbery and very old. I brough it to the waiters attention and nothing was done, I was just stuck with rubbery shrimp and half cooked vegetables. Two couples in the party of 7 had shrimp and rice. They received a huge bowl of rice about the size of a dinner plate, which had to be picked through to find the 4 shrimp! #3. This place was amazing! We were very impressed not only with the sushi selection but the presentation was gorgeous! We ordered the garlic spicy edamame and crab wontons to start, both were delicious! My husband is an avid wonton lover and claimed that these were the best he's ever had. I ordered the tuna wrap and phoenix and my hubby ordered the super volcano and honey moon. We enjoyed every bite! And again we were blown away with the presentations! My husbands even came with a color changing LED light which definitely complimented the "party" going on in our mouths! Basically a hour or time wasted. My 4 year old was complaining. This was ridiculous. We do not control when people will show up or not.
