It's been years since I've been to Hiranos but I paid them a visit and they did not disappoint. Fresh, made to order food and great customer service! Everything was good! We had no complaints in my party! I recommend Gyoza App, Squid and Seaweed Salad and Steak, Shrimp or Chicken entree (you could try all three)! Although it was busy the servers were very attentive to our needs and the food didn't take long! Try them for lunch or dinner! I enjoyed lunch so much I came back for dinner this evening... They also have a variety of sushi and specials!

Chicken teriyaki is affordable and great! Spider roll and California roll are great....

Ribeye (allegedly) steak with fried rice and straight onions and dirty mushrooms

Just don't go. All the 4+ star reviews are insane or idiots. The bottom line is this place should be shut down. The actual place was sticky, smelly and had a weird vibe. Think dark basement but someone put painted it in a fever dream. I struggled the whole drive home to decide if I had ever eaten anything this gross in my travels around the world, let alone my entire life. My kids California rolls tasted like balsamic vinegar without the vinegar (I know that doesn't make sense but it will when you don't heed my warning and eat here)? My ribeye steak was pure fat and rubbery. The flavor was nonexistent. Fried rice was so inedible I couldn't muscle it down. Waitress actually checked on me when my body audibly rejected it. My spouses shrimp was clearly not fresh. Flavor wise it was just cooked shrimp; no butter, salt, etc. The soba noodles weren't soba instead some other rice noodle (but still up charged as soba). The absolutely worst part was the vegetable side that normally comes with americanize Japanese food. Instead of actual vegetables it was big slivered of white onion and mushrooms that still had dirt caved to them. There was so much onion that my mouth still smells and tastes like I licked a tourists armpit. Mind you not a single one of us ate this at all. Where are the slivered carrots? The broccoli? Snow peas? Etc. All three of us enjoyed the salad and miso soup. But as the handwritten sign at the entrance states with smiley faces, it is no long included with your meal. Waitress was nice and attentive but her facial expressions led me to believe this is a regular occurrence.

Top roll is the Crunch Roll it's amazing and the bottom is the tempura roll also very tasty!!

Super casual spot with amazing food and great prices!! The sushi is so flavorful and fresh plus they're a decent size compared to majority of places nowadays... even the side salad with amazing ginger dressing was $2 and done right. The service was quick and we were treated great! It's not a fancy looking place by any means but if you want good food this is the place!

Not a bad little sushi spot! My friend recently moved to the area and we were looking for a quick/decent sushi deal while we were studying one evening and found Hirano's. They're deal (and this was on a Monday, not sure if it changes or if it's every night) was either 2 sushi rolls for $9.95 or $12 dollars for 2 rolls and some nigiri I believe. Not too bad of a deal. Also comes with soup or salad. They also had a teriyaki chicken deal for $6 bucks going on. The restaurant is divided in two with normal dining on the right and sushi bar on the left. Sushi bar was real deal holy field with alllll the fixin's and two guys running the show in there. They make it pretty easy to order, you just put check by which rolls you want and any special requests at the bottom of the paper and give It to your waitress. Also helps to see what all comes on each roll and how many! I chose the Mexican roll and spicy avocado and in regards to the Mexican rolls it's been one of the betters ones I've had. It was great! Spicy tuna was still good however don't get me wrong. Ingredients tasted fresh and well prepared as well. The rolls were very aesthetic and done craftily and well. Nothing worse than poorly rolled sushi. Decent spot and I can't say that I wouldn't be back! It's convenient location, only hard thing is there so many good spots to eat in such close vicinity at Habersham village! Don't miss this one tho, it's hidden but worth the hunt!

The vibe is intimate and stylish, the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem. The cocktail menu is genius. It's creative, thoughtful, and clearly designed for people who want to try something beyond the usual drinks. I decided to be adventurous and ordered the mushroom cocktail. It was definitely outside my comfort zone - an interesting and unique combination that I'm glad I tried. While it wasn't my absolute favorite flavor-wise, what really impressed me was how balanced it was. It was complex without being chaotic, and the flavors worked together surprisingly well. My husband went the safer route with an Old Fashioned, and it was excellent. A beautifully balanced cocktail - smooth, well-made, and exactly what you want from a classic. The service was amazing as well. The bartenders were knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do.
