All 3 flavors I had: s'mores, strawberry cheesecake chunk & banana cream pie were delicious. It was hard to choose between them but I settled on the strawberry cheesecake. The ice cream had a great ratio of strawberry puree & cheesecake chunks all throughout. The waffle bowl was pretty delicious. I also noticed how cheap it was. For a waffle bowl with a solid serving of ice cream it came out to less than $5! You can't find ice cream of this quality anywhere cheaper. I will definitely be back & I highly recommend stopping if you're anywhere nearby an Handel's. It's some of the best ice cream I've ever had.

The location was the first - at Market and Midlothian, where it still stands today. My mother would always get the butter pecan, my father and I the chocolate pecan, and my brother, the chocolate.
