Fried okra - this was pretty good actually and lightly salted and crunchy. Not uniform in size and I'd venture to say they were even fresh okra. Dessert - since they have homemade desserts, I had to order something. They have a wide selection of pies, cakes and tiger bars. Tiger bars are similar to the pies, but in the shape of a bar and with an additional reeces like topping. I just stuck with a simple banana cream pie. Ambiance here was actually fairly quiet during the weekday lunch hour for their 2 dining rooms they have. Only 1 customer other than myself in the front room with the register and cold case, and about half of the rear room was filled with customers. Banana cream pie - I don't eat many of these since they're not exactly healthy, but I do love bananas. I thought their banana cream tasted mostly artificial though. There were no chunks of bananas.
