He was very responsive, with solid communication skills, very friendly, good attention to detail, consistently put safety first (checked voltages, wiring, etc), as well as reasonably priced and on time. Replacing the exhaust vent was very tricky (tight space, lots of small pieces and screws), which Michael was able to handle pretty efficiently. I asked him to take a look at a sagging shower door at the end, and he was more than willing to take a quick look, no questions asked. All in all, one of the better handyman I have encountered. As a woman, I'm always a bit nervous about being overcharged or being told "I need 1000000 other things fixed" because I don't really know what the issues are, but the prices were extremely reasonable and the service was 10/10. I needed a few things done - my toilet fixed (the water wasn't filling up), the sink/vanity was falling off of the wall in the bathroom, and my shower/sink water was not hot. He gave me a price estimate quickly after I reached out for the first two, and said the shower/sink he would need to take a look at. He was able to come the next day and even came early! He told me exactly what was wrong and exactly what he was going to do to fix it. For the hot water issue, he diagnosed it and explained what his suspicions were. I took him down to the water heater and he was able to point out what was likely the issue based on his knowledge and that we'd probably need a new water heater. Installing new water heaters was not his area of expertise/services, but having him still be able to partly diagnose that was helpful for when I called the plumber. Mikhail went above and beyond in a way that truly sets him apart from your typical handyman. We had several broken in-ground lights on our backyard patio that needed replacement. Mikhail quickly identified a major issue with the original installation: the design was poorly executed, and the lights were installed in a way that made future repairs incredibly difficult. My original review, which he saw, led him to call me and apologize for this oversight. Parking in my neighborhood is not easy. Glad that I found Mikhail on Yelp! We needed two doors fixed at our new place, and he showed up just a couple of hours after we'd agreed on a price via text, ready to get going. One door was simple - he removed the plastic shims on the hinges and that was enough for it to close properly - but the other required chiseling out the frame, sanding the corner, and enlarging the hole on the strike plate. After assessing the problem, he went back to his car to pick up some additional tools, and got both fixed right away.
