Yesterday I took my little maltese in for the first time, and we were so blessed to be seen by Dr. David Balderrama. What an incredible Dr. and a wonderful experience. He actually read Sofi's chart before coming in! He evaluated her WHOLE picture instead of just telling me that her liver is enlarged and only has 3 months to live as a prior Vet had said. Dr. Walker's in-home care was ideal for my cat, as veterinary office visits were very stressful for her, especially as she grew older. Dr. Walker utilizes multiple integrative medicine modalities and always allowed my cat to to tell her what she was interested (or not interested!) in receiving that day. She is incredibly knowledgeable in multiple hands-on treatments, current research, supportive devices, supplements, and herbs. My cat grew to love Dr. Walker tremendously. When she was recently experiencing acute medical issues and received new complex diagnoses that would have interfered with the care of her other chronic conditions, Dr. Walker was very communicative with me and helped support the decision-making process to transition my sweet 16.5 year old girl. When the day came (only a little over a week ago now), my husband and I could not have been more grateful to have Dr. Walker helping her transition in the comfort of our home. She is very gentle and accomodating of both the human and the pet in the mix. She has a good bedside manner. We love the setup of the exam rooms, with the futons on the floor (it's just a little cold and/or hot sometimes, depending the season). And we love the extra touch of seeing the owner's art on the walls or crafts items they have brought in for sale (we love our Oaxacan donkey!). It will take some time to find the right formula for your pet but if anyone can do it, they can.

The pricing was very reasonable, and now I have beautiful mementos to remember Pepper by.
