Took it back home and set it on hot tub and it is the wrong size, straps in wrong location etc. Now mind you an employee input all dimensions etc based on the model description we gave him.....also purchased it there. Nothing on paperwork says no returns, but that seems to be their policy.......even when damaged and built wrong by their vendor! Go to Aqua Quip and save yourself a headache!

Kenny came pretty promptly and was able to identify what our problem was (a failed heating element) and get it replaced. However, I think it us extremely unfair to blame it on the small stores that can't control the impact that the pandemic had on the supply chain... in my case, my swim spa was delivered late but throughout the whole experience Chris (in sales) and Rick (operations) have been the most professional and respectful folks I worked with. They kept on having my interests at heart talking to Calspa, they made concessions to make things right and the whole crew to install was awesome. They are owning mistakes that they didn't make just because they represent the product and they are doing that with full smiles while customers are upset without trying to realize the state we are all in due to the pandemic. I will definitely do business again w them, I know that if I wanted to by the same spa now, prices have gone up 20% or more and they never made any fuss about that. I know other places that canceled on their customers instead of eating that up, and I am grateful for the way they conduct themselves at aquarec. To add to that, while they didn't have to, I asked for a wifi module, and Chris and Rick decided to make the gesture and give it to me for free. The crew of Juan, Andrew, and one other delivery person was joyful, professional, and efficient. However, the company should return to a four-person crew, particularly for the bigger tubs. When three guys struggle with a big tub moving over uneven ground, someone will get hurt or property damaged.

About a year ago, I rented out my home in hopes that my property would be taken care of, but it wasn't. My previous renter damaged my master bed windows, carpets and hot tub cover torn apart because of the renter's dog, and my Lifecast hot tub tripped which costed me almost $2K in total repairs. Now that I terminated the lease and moved back in, my first task was to fix the damage that was done. I had to buy a new cover for my hot tub. Due to my disability, the cover was difficult to handle because of its weight and bulky shape. That's when I did some research on spa depot and bought a cover captain to ease my difficulty. Once it arrived, I called Clean Hot Tub to schedule the install which was done costing only $120 including the cleaning and refill. A couple months had past and I decided to invest in a spa side umbrella because I'm not a fan of the bright summer sun. Again I called Mark to stop in next week for the install. That day came and Mark showed up exactly on time and immediately got started on the umbrella install. After about 1.5 hours later, everything was done with a freshly filled tub and umbrella installed. Mark even provided instructions on how to operate it which made it incredibly easy for me. Total cost was about $150 plus tip because Mark is really awesome when it comes to caring for my hot tub investment. Clean Hot Tub is a great business to use. Mark is incredibly nice, informative and the most affordable. I plan on setting up a recurring service the next time I plan to rent out my property again. Hopefully I'll get more responsible renters lol.

He struggled with the controls then told me the jacuzzi was broken and might need $6-7k of repairs. Since what Frank told me was the opposite of our pool inspector before we bought the home, I decided to have a second opinion. Jacuzzi is working great and heater works. Everything Frank said was wrong. I later went to a local pool and spa store and mentioned my experience and was told he is known in the areanfor scamming people. DO NOT go with this guy!

LEFT ME WORSE OFF THAN I WAS. My pool heater had a small…read moregas leak and was red-tagged by the gas company, although it was actually still operational. My home warranty company had trouble finding a vendor over the Christmas/New Year's holiday but finally found this guy, and I'm sorry they did. Frank, the owner, came out reasonably quickly after I paid the $150 service call fee upfront. He indicated that a part would be required to replace the part that was leaking gas. Well, long story short. After many delays, ostensibly waiting for the part, someone (not Frank) came out and disassembled the heater but did not have the replacement part. Then I had to pay $600 upfront for the future part and service, which never came. After several phone discussions, a no-show service call, and a threat to sue, Frank promised to refund my money; I finally was able to recover $431.83 of the 594.58 I had paid him. After talking to him on the phone again, he promised to send the balance but never did. In the end, the gutted heater could not be repaired by anyone since the person who disassembled it took the parts with him and left me a gutted pool heater (see photo). It cost me $4000 plus dollars to replace the entire unit. Don't use this company. They are unreliable and not to be trusted. I would give them zero stars. FYI, I am NOT one of these folks who only give bad reviews. I am a trusted Yelp reviewer with four years of Yelp Elite Squad experience, and they don't award these badges easily.
