I was asked "for two" and I thought I was being asked if I was booking a massage for two people so I said "yes". I have no idea what the different kinds of massage are. When we arrived we each had two massage personnel. I didn't know what I was supposed to expect. Is that normal? I didn't know. I was asked standing up and asked to remove my robe with four people in the room. Is that normal? It felt very uncomfortable. It turned out that two ladies worked on me and two ladies worked on my husband. The massage table face hole was very uncomfortable. When I got home I was sad to see I have a bruise on my face under my lip from the table pressing into my skin. The massage was a lot of deep pressure, but uneven. The same things were not done on both sides so it felt unbalanced. Prior to starting the massage I used Google translate to share where I needed them to be careful, but I had to remind them to be gentle when they reached my artificial joint because they must have forgotten. The massage seemed okay to me because I like deep pressure but my husband said he felt like it was too deep for his liking. When we went to settle at the counter, we were charged an additional $160 beyond the $160 gift certificates we had. We were also pressed for a tip for four people. My husband tipped well, because the ladies had physically worked hard for the hour. We can't spend another $400+ on a massage here. Make sure that you fully understand what you are booking before you walk into the room. I thought I was purchasing off of the menu on the counter, which is $80 for an hour. The booking touch screen didn't say anything about the booking being for something special. It just asked if I wanted to sign up for specials and what kind of pressure I wanted and where did I want treatment on my anatomy. If I had known I was being booked into something so pricey I would have made sure I only wanted to use my gift certificate amount.
