Andy is a GENIUS. I needed to make a duplicate car key and was getting quoted upwards of $250 by other local locksmiths. He tracked down key blades for my (very old and difficult to maintain) car, identified all the correct key codes, cut a new key, and transferred the chip from my fob to the key. I thought I needed my locks replaced (stolen keys) but he and his partner said we just needed to re-key. Much less expensive and nice of them to offer that rather than take the higher $. I don't know how long doing that for 5 locks should take but they seemed to be fairly efficient (90 mins) and also fixed a loose plate on our door frame (screw was stripped and they drilled a longer screw in). I had a really tricky Milgard V400 Tuscany swinging patio door set that I wanted to replace the handles on. The "certified" Milgard technician couldn't get the old handles off, just saying "something was jammed inside". Andy was available the morning after I called, diagnosed what the problem was, fixed the problem, removed the old handles, installed the new ones, and ensured the crazy multi-point locking system was functioning correctly after putting it together from the mess that the technician left. Andy originally helped me in April 2022, I was getting a low battery message followed by some really annoying beeps (wife and kids were going crazy). I was able to find root cause but was not able to find a battery, it was a non-standard size battery welded on the sensor circuit board. After days of unsuccessfully searching online and calling many different home security businesses, Andy was the only one who took on the job. Within a day he was able to find a solution. He was also not able to find a direct part replacement but did the in-depth research on my 15+ year old home system. He was able to find compatible sensor with a standard battery that I would be able to replace. In addition, my key pad display was (and still is) showing garbage characters...seems to be a noise issue. He offered me the option to have it replaced or save money and remain with the same key pad. I opted to stay with the same, so he had to research how to delete and program new sensors while dealing with the garbage characters...amazing. Fast forward to October 2022, my system started complaining about low battery again...same beeping noises and family going crazy once again. I checked each sensor one at a time with no success. I thought I'd try to shoot Andy a text late night 10pm. Andy responded right away! He helped to remind me that I also had battery powered motion sensors. I felt like an idiot lol...but wow huge thank you to Andy. He responded so quickly, helped me fix the issue, AND made me looks like a hero to my family...yup I took the credit haha!
