When Ash came to look at our setup, he was in the attack 10 min and back down. Ash was the ONLY plumber who told us that our hot water heater was on max heat and was very dangerous. He was very knowledgeable, taught me how to better manage our next water heater. Other plumbers took 30 min or so to come up with an analysis and quote.... and all were higher in price and "salesy". They showed me a video from inside the pipe and said I had a broken drain pipe under my foundation. I could not see what he was saying was a broken pipe, but he insisted that we needed to have it repaired by tunneling under the house. He charged me $687 for unsuccessfully attempting to clear the drain, and gave me a proposal for $15,000 to do the tunneling repair. I decided to have another company come and give a second opinion. They cleared the drain within an hour with no indication of a broken pipe and charged me far less than Roto-Rooter. I've tried calling no less than a dozen times to speak to the manager of the local branch, left my info several times and was told I'd get a call back soon. This never happened. ***UPDATE 10-12-23 - I finally got a call back from the manager today. I reviewed the issue with him and he agreed to give me a full refund and apologized for the issue. Both times, I was told the work was complete. A few years later, I had another plumbing issue, only to discover that cast-iron pipes are still under my house -- meaning the work I paid for was not fully done. When I tried to address the issue: * Phone calls were ignored. * Emails went unanswered. * When I finally called from a different number and asked to speak to the owner, I was repeatedly given the runaround by the receptionist, probably the wife. Once she realized I was recording the call (for accuracy), she hung up on me. Now, they won't answer at all. This level of dishonesty, unresponsiveness, and avoidance is completely unprofessional.
