He was very knowledgeable, taught me how to better manage our next water heater. Other plumbers took 30 min or so to come up with an analysis and quote.... and all were higher in price and "salesy". If I could give zero, I would. I'm the tenant, and the experience during this service call was incredibly unprofessional from start to finish. The plumber first told me the entire water heater needed to be replaced. When I explained I wasn't the homeowner and couldn't authorize a full replacement, the attitude shift was immediate. He began questioning me like I was lying -- asking multiple times if I was married to the homeowner and clearly not believing me when I said no. Then, the moment he realized I couldn't approve a major replacement, his diagnosis suddenly changed from a full system replacement to "just a thermostat issue." It was obvious the assessment was based on what he thought he could sell, not the actual problem. He also claimed the homeowner said they'd be at the appointment -- which was never stated in any message -- and seemed irritated that I wouldn't provide the landlord's personal number since they were already in communication about the request. His reaction was rude and completely unnecessary. To top it off, when I maintained that I wasn't comfortable giving out the landlord's number, he abruptly said, "Have a nice day," in a rude tone and slammed my door on the way out. Overall, the whole interaction felt disrespectful, confrontational, and dishonest. Nothing about the visit was professional. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Their website says, "Free Estimates." So, I called and asked how much to have a sewer line unclogged. They said they had to send someone to provide an estimate. When the technician arrived, his estimate was $450 for the clog and $350 for the camera inspection = $800!! I'm getting quotes for under $200 and one for $49!! I scheduled an appointment thru thumbtack which was a big mistake and the plumber that came out to inspect my water heaters was Ash. The issue was with the pilot intermittently going out and having to get reignited. Ash tried to sell me on replacing both my water heaters which are only 7 years old for $4,500.00. The he tried to sell on replacing the thermostat coupler for $1,600.00. The charge was as $450 labor per water heater since I had two, plus the parts. Complete rip off and no honest effort to determine the issue. I did not have this company do the work and was charged $75 for the visit. Water heaters are working okay so far and glad I did not proceed with getting any work done. I would not recommend this company. read more

My husband and I recognized we had a leak under our laminate flooring near the laundry room. The flooring began to bubble and so we needed someone to take a look at it seeing as though there was a freeze last year and pipes were bursting in homes left and right when plumbers were too busy and prices were definitely inflating. Precise plumbing sent Ash to give and estimate concerning the cost of a possible leak. The cost to fix a leak in our manifold was reasonable or affordable to my husband and I. Everything we needed was fixed and under $500. The cost included some repair with our dish washer (mind you most of the work was done before Ash came and so he made alterations based on that), a leak in our manifold that was affecting our flooring inside,and our garbage disposal switch needed repair. I would definitely recommend this company for our plumbing needs as well as your own or at least give them a call for an estimate put them in the running to see if they are a good fit for you. I had a leak on the outside of my house and after I submitted a request for service thru Yelp, many Plumbing Companies contacted me right away. I chose Precise Plumbing Service because they were the only company that was able to send a Technician over to my house on the same day. They did a great job at repairing the leak, and so far it has held up. The gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because I believe I was overcharged. The repair that I needed shouldn't have been that expensive. I just decided to pay it because I was wanted the leak repaired right away. So my advice to anyone out there who is looking around is to be patient and let different companies do an estimate first before you hire someone. That way you can go with the best offer. Even if you have to wait a few days, I think it will be worth it. But overall, I probably would hire them again....but only after I shopped around first. read more
