I also needed some help getting a new wind stop/chain installed on a swinging screen door in the basement. They were the only service I reached out to who asked for specific details about the jobs before providing a quote, which is a great way to do business. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. They arrived a little before the time quoted with two people - one the main handyman and one being trained. They did a prompt and excellent job and the cost was very fair. He tried to upsell unnecessary foundation work even after professionals confirmed everything was fine. He pressured us for a down payment, then refused to take check, Venmo, or Zelle--only Cash or Cash App, which was suspicious. After being paid, it took a week just to start, and when he did, he showed up late, left early, and constantly canceled with far-fetched excuses. We finally had to threaten legal action, and only then did he send someone else who finished the job in five hours. Dishonest, unreliable, and misleading. Do not hire him or Next Generation Construction LLC.
