If you eat raw, vegan or just eat a lot of nuts and seeds, this place is the place to shop in town for your needs. I have tried most all of them, and I buy the large…read more16 oz. size (about an 8" tall bottle) due to the great price and I go through them quickly, however, I have found that all of their spices are still very good long after the expiration date with unnoticeable or next to nil difference in smell and taste! The company told me their spices are not irradiated. In my pantry in the 16 oz. size, I have their fabulous Paprika, Ground Curry, Ground Mustard, Ground Oregano, Ground Cinnamon (Cassia), Cinnamon Sticks (mine are 5 1/2" long), and Garlic Powder. In their typical 7 oz. sz. (about a 6" tall bottle; ounces vary according to contents i.e. Bay Leaves (0.5 oz/14 g) weigh less than ground nutmeg (7 oz), but both fill a 7 oz sz bottle, I have their Bay Leaves, Ground Cloves, Whole Cloves, Ground Nutmeg, and Ground Ginger. They are all incredible too! Their Garlic Powder that I have is a very finely ground, almost like talcum powder. The rest of their ground spices are the typical grind. Personally, I'd prefer the same grind on the garlic powder as the rest of their spices, although it still works just fine and smells great. This company has great prices and the incredible smell and taste of their spices is over the top, esp the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger! I will buy all of the ones I have mentioned here in this review (except the garlic powder, because of the grind) over and over again! I would love to see this company also carry freeze dried herbs, as I absolutely love "Lite House's freeze dried Oregano, Parsley, Chives, and Basil." I am sure that Grandma's Country Spices would be just as good and their prices would probably be better. I would love to see them get their spices into Costco!!! Their prices are much like Costco prices already! Call them and see for yourself. Their website is a little tricky to maneuver around, so I usually call in my order and pick it up. Suggestion for getting around successfully on their web site. Just type in the spice your looking for in the search bar, and it will usually show you all the sizes in which that spice is available. P.S. I have also tried their Grandma's Country Foods "Country Cream Dry Milk," and it tastes better than almost all the dry milk powders I've tried. "Thrive Life Dry Milk" is the only one that taste better IMO, my DIL was selling it, so I tried it too. "Thrive Life" container size is 10.58 oz. for $11.79 right now. Thrive Life tastes just like regular grocery store milk--no dry milk taste whatsoever IMO. However, I have switched to buying Organic MIlk and currently buy Pasteurized Organic 1% Milk ("Organic Valley" brand is my favorite), but if "Country Cream Dry Milk" made an Organic Dry Milk in non-fat or low fat milk powder, I would certainly try it!

Their means of production are environmentally friendly and totally healthy for the consumer and for the workers. It is local and totally owner operated. You can stop by and see the fields, meet the farmers, chomp on a carrot and share a laugh. Healthy, fresh, locally grown veggies delivered with a smile. Received the bag and it appeared small so I weighed it and it was 6.6 ounces (187 grams). And that's WITH the mylar bag. Hmm... one freeze dried egg weighs approximately 0.5 ounces or 14 grams. This approximately matches the nutritional content of an egg which is 7 grams of protein, 6 grams of fat, and 0.5 grams of carbs when you take out all the water. So each pouch was actually 12 eggs, not 72. When I contacted them to ask about this discrepancy, they didn't apologize or admit that they made any mistake or had incorrect information on their site. They just said matter-of-factly that I could send the items back for a partial refund (i.e. they wouldn't reimburse me for shipping). Really? Not cool.

It is an Indian type grocery store with a large selection of items. Hard to tell from the outside but once you walk in you can see. Looks like they have been in business for over a year.
