    heart cake

Best cake I've ever gotten from Walmart, hands down. I ordered a custom heart shaped cake, they added glitter, and HOLY!!! It literally looks like I spent over $100 on it. It looks INCREDIBLE. Whoever made this cake is AMAZING, and I really hope they're the one who makes my birthday cake in a few months when i order one for myself because I want this same magic again!!

Bought a coffee maker online and did a "pickup" outside and when i got home the coffee maker looked like this disgusting mess. When i called to let them know, the person who answered said "bring the receipt in person, don't call us about this" and hung up. Talk about customer service.. paid full price for this nastiness...

Wow - As a Canadian visiting the United States, this Walmart is REALLY different from what we have back home. First off, there is a parking garage and an escalator, say what? I actually missed it the first time as I wasn't expecting a Walmart to look like this. Secondly, it's 24 hours?!? Can I get a hallelujah? Seriously, this was a lifesaver after being on the road for almost 36 hours non-stop. Yep, it's big - it's huge - it's a Walmart. I was oddly surprised by the size of the toy department - seemed rather small. I found way too much to buy here. Fireworks sold in a grocery store?!? BIZARRE! There were some unsavoury people in the parking lot but what can you do?

Sad to say, you don't see this kind of service at the overwhelming majority of California stores.

A constant flow of wonderful , help, smiling employees and the best seasonal chili anywhere. The employee created artwork and over a period of time, getting to know the " regular " staff adds to the fun and positive experience. BUT sadly about 5 months ago as I was checking out of course talking with one of many cashiers that I know, as I headed out the door, 2 managers I believe stopped me and told me that I wasn't welcomed at this Trader Joe's location. What ? Apparently one of employees said " I made them uncomfortable " Seriously ? For years, I have always lived with kindness, always saying hello and and maybe engaging in conversation if appropriate. Nothing else was exchanged as they followed me out the door. Deeply hurt and candidly upset. But the seasonal chili will be arriving soon this fall. I still love the Trader Joe's experience and staff

They don't have a deli, no fresh food, and only a baby little freezer case. They did offer a few refrigerated cakes, a vast variety of Milka chocolate bars, one prepackaged halva, and a candy I have searched for for years called KiKi that is like a way better starburst. So they've got the sweets selection on lockdown, especially considering the space available. With that said, I missed the ubiquitous bulk chocolates most Eastern European markets offer. Additionally, they had many pickles, honey, jam, and other sweet spreads, some baking supplies, and a lot of drinks. Also a myriad of foreign magazines. Instead of a grocery, it reminded me more of a convenience store. I nearly left empty handed, but couldn't resist some beans labeled grah źućko (I have a weird soft spot for unusual dried beans, and can't say no whenever I find 'em!). From what I can tell, grah means bean, so zucko must be the variety, but I couldn't find any information about it online. Anyways, I took them home and cobbled together a sort of ham and bean soup situation, and they turned out great-with a firm exterior but tender insides, even with minimal pre-soaking. So that tells me they are very fresh. Hurrah! Prices are quite reasonable, and while service was brusque, I think that was due more to a language barrier than anything else. It's located right off Redwood Road, so easy to find (remember it's teeny-just look for the shop on the Southern corner of the shopping center). Parking spaces were plentiful. If this were the closest option I'd probably frequent it once a month or so, but as I live closer to Salt Lake, and there are several larger stores nearer, I will likely not return. Except maybe to get more KiKi candy!
