Dave was polite, personable, on-time, focused, effective. I plan to use him for any future construction or handyman services.

GAB construction were 1 of 4 companies we contacted for an estimate on siding our whole house. I…read morespoke with Mark and he said Alex (co-owner) will stop by. When Alex arrived, he immediately commented how nice our house is and had ideas to go with the siding that we were looking to replace. His team were respectful and considerate of our needs: as we sometimes work from home, there was a time that we had to ask them to pause some construction while we were on work calls. Alex made some siding suggestions that we never thought about and are very happy with his ideas. He also suggested a change with our front porch lighting and soffit and WOW, we love it. Regarding cost, GAB Construction were very reasonable, and the little additions that they did were well worth it! Timeline: Alex said it would approximately take a week and a half to two weeks, weather permitting, and he was spot on. Highly recommend Alex and team (GAB Construction)! We look forward to working with them in the future.

Pricing was very competitive. Alex and his crew did a fantastic job installing my deck stairs and porch, they are beautifully done and very sturdy. Far better than what we had before. They were there within 2 days of hire and completed the work within 2 days. We told them not to paint but Alex threw in paint for just the cost of materials, which was nice. Although, I wish I had some say on the color since they didn't ask beforehand and I would have loved a natural stain instead. The crew was very kind, they'd even bring my packages into the garage for me and make sure to close the garage door when they were done. The work is sturdy, done right, and I feel confident will last. My only point of advice is to just be more mindful of the garden. I had just purchased and planted 6 new plants and had a succulent ground cover I had been working to grow out for years. It was all so trampled I thought maybe they had dug it out at first. It would have been nice to get warning so I could dig it up myself (since it was fresh planted) or for them to step around it. Overall, I'd definitely hire GAB again (and likely will to finish our deck soon) and will reccomend them to friends and family. They're responsive, quick, easy to communicate with, the work looks beautiful and done right, and the value for the price is terrific.

I truly appreciate everyone who worked on our site this past month. This has been a wonderful experience and that isn't usually the case on a construction project. While other siding company estimators tried to apply time pressure to decisions and were very "salesy" in nature, Ryan felt very transparent, answered the questions I had, and worked on my time. Pricing was competitive, and scheduling ended up being pretty straighforward, with my project starting a week before original projections. The crew assigned to my project was Jose and Ismael Fernandez; from the moment they set foot on the project site these guys were respectful, courteous, and professional. At each step during the project they checked in with me on project status, and ensured I was happy with the work/results. They answered all my (somewhat basic) questions, and were very customer focused throughout the project. Their attention to detail and overall quality of work was really appreciated and made the whole residing experience much more enjoyable. I would definitely request them again should I ever be looking to reside another house in the area. The project manager Alejandro was similarly very customer focused, easy to get ahold of with questions, and worked to ensure I was pleased with results at each phase of the project. Overall I was very pleased with the end result of my residing project, and would recommend anyone in the market for residing work to strongly consider SidePro. They are professional at each stage of the project, and really do care about customer experience and satisfaction with the end product.

I told him you made the appointment I agreed as far as I am concerned it was set. I did that when I set the appointment up 2 days prior. I called Joe he said he would be out in a couple of hours. 3pm I called and he asked if I could send him photos, which I did and yet no response. Now whose waste of time was it? Mine on all accounts. I do not recommend them.

Supposed to start October but didnt get permit submitted till November, they asked for 40k down to submit permit and start building. I decided at the end of November to walk away from the project, the permit was not approved yet and the city was asking for measurements. They told me they needed to come in and measure for permitting and ordering. I told them I didn't want to do the project, the next day I was informed that the 40 k down would not be returned because I signed a contract. I tried to work with them to maybe do other work on the house and they refused, either the addition gets built or I forfeit that money. So they kept all 40 k. They also pushed forward to do my siding early on, and honestly I should have been paying more attention and put a hold on the project. They left the top row of siding off because they intended on finishing siding later after completion of the addition. They did paint so they could say that the 18k siding project was complete, but not only was I missing the top row of siding but they didn't caulk any joint. I went all winter with out my house weather proofed. UPDATE: The owner called me july 9th. He started out with letting me know that he didn't know about what was going on. I informed him that I tried multiple times to contact him. He wanted to make things right in return for taking down the review. His offer was to finish up the siding, I couldn't agree to that. We talked about what he may owe me. He didn't think that I was owed anything, as my 40 k deposit was all spent on administrative costs for my project, before we even break ground on my addition. I informed him that I gave him 10k in the beginning to cover administrative costs. But he still insisted these were all costs they took. My records show that I withdrew the 40k deposit Oct 25, and I cancelled the project Nov 22, 40k gone in 30 days? He also slightly touched on how legally he probably didn't owe me anything. I agreed with him, he may legally owe me nothing. But I brought up that morally it may be the wrong thing to do. He has been trusted with my home, and morality is pretty important for me to trust him. After our talk I went through my contract again, the total contract was 105k*. 10k plus 40k was used on administrative fees, that's half the contract. If you factor in the siding cost, I'm in 70k. That math only leaves 35k to buy materials, pay labor, and make a profit on my second story addition. None of this made sense to me. Update: There you go public. As can be seen from their response, 2FL is justified and in the right..... Although there contract numbers seem different than mine. And yes a personal issue was part of me cancelling as I explained to the sales man, I was and still am in parenting litigation and it was taking an unexpected turn. This litigation was going to now eat some serious cash flow so I can have visitation with my 3 year old. And yes parenting litigation may put reviewing a company on the back burner. What I cant understand is I don't believe the owner said anything about material in our last call, just administrative cost. They never entered my house for final measurements. UPDATE: while working on finishing up my siding myself, found rot in a spot that now I have to un do their work to fix. The contract said they would repair rot, it looks like they just sided over it instead. UPDATE: I have wrapped up the siding on my house. Almost a year later and its finally weather proofed. I just cant beleive 2fl left me hanging like this, they kept every bit of money and couldn't even offer to finish the siding that I had paid in full. They left my house to rot in the weather after I had given them a total of 70k.

They caused a big leak in my bedroom during my roof replacement, completely denied it, and refused to take ownership of their mistakes. They even had the audacity to call it an "old yellow stain." I had to hire a lawyer and fight back with evidence. Save yourself and your family the headache and avoid them at all costs. They sent only two guys to start the work and they ripped off all my shingles one day before a major storm. Then they left my roof with no shingles during rain and storm conditions for two days. That caused a big leak in my bedroom and significant damage to my family. When I called them, they came out and spent 4+ hours on my roof, then told me: "We don't know what it is, but there is no leak." Thankfully, I had a moisture meter, before/after pictures, and enough evidence to prove what happened. Even then, they still tried to deny it and said, "Based on our industry experience, such yellowing is consistent with an older leak. It is possible the stain pre-dated our work." On top of the leak, they didn't secure the shingles on my roof during the storm. A bunch of shingle packages (roughly 40+ pounds each) fell from the roof onto my deck and shed. That could have seriously injured or even killed someone if that hit them! it anyways caused significant damage to my shed and deck! I wish that was the end of the story, but it wasn't. They also somehow managed to mess up the electrical wiring in my attic. And again, they denied responsibility, even though they agreed to pay for the repairs. They are extremely shady, deny their mistakes, and provide very unsafe work. save your money and your family from all their headaches and damages!
