It was a 4 day project that turned into 2 weeks long since I asked him to redo a few rooms that were extra streaky. After redoing the rooms, I still notice a lot of unevenness to my wood floors. My floors now either look streaky and hazy and there's a lot of chatter marks from sanding so the wood feels uneven and wavy. I asked him to at least come buff the floors since there's a lot of dust, hair, and specks of dirt stuck in the sealant/finish but have not heard back. My last text was on 8/11/26. In the end, I paid $3500 for this service. I asked him to use Bona products instead of Behr products for the floor. Since he said his price didn't factor in Bona, I decided to pay $1500 out of pocket for the product myself since I wanted to be fair and considerate of Joseph's efforts. I even drove two hours to pick it up so he could have it the next day without impacting his schedule. In total I spent $5000 on this project. At that price I should have went with a proper floor refinishing company since now I'm left with major issues and have to save up again to hire another company to redo my floors.
