I called this company based on proximity and Yelp reviews. The reviews were accurate. I needed several faux wood blinds, duettes, and shutters cleaned. I also wanted to purchase an additional blind and some shutter repair. My initial call was met with a very quick call back. We had all kinds of phone issues and played phone tag several times. Jon was persistent and patient. We scheduled an appointment for the work. Follow up and scheduling was immediate. Mike called me and let me know, the day of service, that he was running slightly off schedule. I had asked for a call in advance so that I could leave work and meet him. He accommodated and we connected. I met him, we went over the job, and he gave me great information on a couple of questions. Some of what I needed was beyond their ability, but he advised. Mike also advised me on the reality of purchasing a product from them, the reason it would be so costly, and my advantage to make another choice. I have not enough words to thank Mike for the best service offered. We recently purchased a home that had 25 Hunter Douglas silhouettes and Duettes. When they were installed back in 1997 they were the highest quality at that time, but unfortunately the previous owners they never cleaned them in over 2 decades. I can not describes how dirty they looked. I searched a lot online to see how can they be cleaned and luckily I came across to Hang&Shine website. I left a message and next day Mike called me. He said that he can do the job onsite if I want to and they can make them like new. Of course I still called other places too, but after a lot of research I decided to go with Hang&Shine. Hang & Shine came out to my place of employment last fall. They did such a great job I got Jon's business card and thought I would call them in the spring to come to my house to clean my blinds. I called the other day and Jon came out right away! He gave me a quote first and then he took my blinds down, brought them to his shop and cleaned them and came back the same day and hung them back up for me. They did such an incredible job, they look brand new again. My blinds are almost 21 years old and I've never had them cleaned. All the dirt and film is gone and they look nice and bright again. It was so nice that they could provide their blind cleaning service at our home...no need to take the blinds to their place of business. I was thoroughly impressed with ease of setting up appointment and fast response with quote. They do amazing work! My 9 year old blinds look good as new. My kitchen blind had grease and other water and food splatter on it, and now it looks perfect. I dropped off the blinds at 11 am and they were ready to be picked up at 2 pm. I had 10 blinds cleaned for $180, and they only charge $5 per foot! I highly recommend getting your blinds cleaned by Hang & Shine. I wish I had taken my blinds there sooner. read more

Hang and Shine cleaned 28 miniblinds for me, some 20 years old, some 40 years old, badly needed cleaning, and now they all look like brand new. They brought their truck with the ultrasonic cleaning equipment, took the blinds down and rehung them, all in about 2 hours. Don't bother with the DIY methods unless your blinds just have a tiny bit of dust, ultrasonic is the way to go. read more
