This building/bar and grill has been two miles from house for years and I had no idea it was there. I've been missing out. This place is incredible. Pool tables, air hockey, video games and a small bowling alley. Indoor and outdoor seating as well a true wood fired brick oven. Our bartender/server was a beautiful blonde woman wearing glasses. She was very soft spoken and attentive. She took our drink orders within a minute of sitting down and our food orders five minutes after that. I ordered the veggie pizza and I was shocked when it came out. I was expecting a sort of cheap bar type pizza and what I received was a REAL brick oven pizza. It was well made and worth every penny I spent for it. My friends equally enjoyed their pizza and cheeseburger respectively. My Coors Light draft was cold and went dusk well. This just became our new little watering hole. We are going headed back on Thursday to give the bowling alley a try and play some air hockey. We has a girls hockey silent auction event here and it was a perfect place to host an event. They were super gracious with giving us plenty of space for all of our families and items, plus they donated items to our event as well. Honestly it's sucks that I spent my hard earned money here. Like ugh ya know? Ok where do I start. So I'm currently here for a Broncos game and the vibe couldn't be more dead you could hear crickets. I asked the bar tender if we could turn the broncos game up but she said they can't because they're playing music. But honestly the music sucks and you can barely hear it. Second man who the hell wants to watch the a muted game???? So I conquer the manager sucks. How is this place logistically a cooler place than buffalo wild wings but yet more boring than Buffalo Wild Wings? So I like this place for specific things. If you want to play some pool in Lakewood this is the place for you. If you want to sit down and grab a drink at the bar and they are fairly busy I'd recommend another bar. The bar staff is fine they just don't staff enough when they are busy so you'll wait a bit for a drink and often times you have to interject to get one in a timely fashion. Again, nothing against the staff at all as they are typically pretty nice and do their best it's just a staffing thing when they get busy as there are tables and the bar is fairly big so the bar tenders get busy very quickly. If you want a place to do more than drink and watch a game I definitely recommend Hangar. Prices are pretty much the same as they would be at any other Lakewood neighborhood bar. read more

Partner and I stopped in here (finally) after being in the local area for (gasp) almost 7 years. I know, I know. Bowling isn't my thing nor is shooting pool, so I kept passing on opportunities to go. For all the folks that are crushed right now, if bowling and pool are your thing, Hangar 101 is a GREAT place to be. I didn't count, but there are many, many pool tables and several lanes to keep you happy. If you're like me and these aren't so much your thing, Hangar 101 is still a GREAT place. What caught my attention and praise? Glad you asked. ~ Spaciousness of the place - aka lots of UNcrowded seating areas to connect with your peeps ~ A decently long bar - which we eventually moved to when two seats opened up. ~ The food was pretty good. We shared a burger and were pleasantly surprised. Really tasty. ignore the thumb prints clearly on the bun - or maybe don't ignore if you're management reading this. Soft hands! ~ The service - likely better for us as we were at the bar, but for such a massive place and only 4 bartenders, they kicked ass. What may improve things? Add more staff to help and have those staff take care of customers on the floor, to decrease the back log at the bar. For now, you can only order at the bar. And if I didn't say it earlier, this place is massive. This alone caused many log jams. That aside, I enjoyed our visit. Kudos and my bad for assuming. I know, I know, makes an ass of me.... Solid place! I've been here twice now and likely more in the future due to it being a location destination for some people I know. The space is huge! They have a few bowling alley lanes, pool tables, booths, tables. They have happy hour, as well. My first visit I ordered one of their pizzas from the wood fired stove. It was very good! A nice size for a person but you might have a slice left to share! :) They predetermine pizza toppings and the night I was there the bartender taking my order was super cool with allowing me to sub other ingredients in pizzas for those that I didn't want. My thoughts are that if I don't want 2 items on the pizza they built, why not sub two others from other pizzas, right? Without paying since I'm not really adding more. And bartender was totally on board. Giving good service is easy people! Try it! (I worked in the service industry for many years... FYI). The only extra thing I'd add is if the staff can go check on tables more. I'm fine ordering drinks from the bar and food, but making customers bus all of their own tables/areas to me isn't right. I realize the whole covid and short staff things and all that, but at some point we have got to figure this out. We ordered a glass of wine, beer, pizza, and a burger with a side of onion fries and the total came out to $45. Not too bad. I've seen worse. Food was good. Fresh. Also the ambiance of the place was the best part! Super chill. Fun. Relaxing. Service was okay but not horrible. Celebrated my 47th birthday here! We played pool and bowled all night - everything was well organized and me and my buddies had a blast. The Wheatley Bloody Mary was DELICIOUS and my husband was drinking the espresso martinis - they'll put some hair on your chest but man are they a winner! Reagan was taking care of us all night and her service made the evening all that more enjoyable. She was not only friendly but also extremely efficient and competent at her job - something you won't find in many employees these days!! I came with a friend to get drunk and play pool, but I felt like I had to be cautious of my actions because of a kid's birthday party going on next to me. I almost hit multiple kids in the head with my pool cue, and some stupid kid walked by and knocked one of the pool balls in while we were in the middle of our game. This is genuinely a cool place with a good selection of activities (foosball, pool, bowling, multiple local draft beers), but it misses the mark by not being strictly 21+. A group of seven of us went last night for my birthday. I made reservations in advance and was looking forward to this place because I pass it frequently and it looks like it has a good atmosphere. I don't think any of us will ever be back. First off, we got carded at the door which is fine but then got carded every other time we got to the bar as well. I also don't know the meaning of carding people at the door if there were kids EVERYWHERE. I got the lovely pleasure of some child's mother scolding me for looking at the menu in their booth after they had ordered because it was the only menu in the entire bowling area. There were seven of us and we got shoved into a tiny booth that isn't made for people to get in and out of when bowling. Could've easily been solved if the booths were moved a foot away from the wall but instead we all had to trade spots or stand between turns. There was a perfectly good couch seated area that no one was using in the bowling lanes but as the largest group there, we were shoved in this spot next to the only other group bowling. Don't even know why I bothered making a reservation. You pay $10 an hour to bowl, shoes are included. The shoes are never cleaned so be aware of that disgustingness. Would've been fine to get an hour in but our lane broke twice and the attendant spent a good 45 minutes fixing it. She would come back and say it only took her five minutes to fix it so she's only giving us back that amount of time. We didn't even bowl half a game the entire time. She got angry when we asked for our time back as they were clearly trying to turn tables and get us out of there. Doesn't make much sense because we were all ordering drinking and food unlike the table of children next to us but they had more space for two children than we did 7 adults. We each got one drink the entire time and it took well over 30 minutes for us to even put our food order in. There's no clear distinction where you're supposed to order but when I asked the bowling attendant, she caught a huge attitude and told me "I should've just asked and she would've told me she could get me what I needed." My mistake since there's no bar on the bowling side and anytime she went to put orders in, she took our cards all the way across the venue and wouldn't come back to help with broken bowling lanes for 15-20 minutes. The food was eh. The pizza was decent but all of the appetizers weren't great. The wings were so burnt we didn't eat more than two off the plate. We really didn't even get the chance to finish anything because by the time we got our food, our bowling "hour" was done. We spent the majority of our time trying to find help on the broken lane and beg for our time back for their mistake. I'm just gonna assume the management here is just awful. This place was decorated so well and had a lot of options on things to do but if you want a drink while you do it, you're out of luck. Good service is out the window. Such a shame because we definitely could've been regulars with how close this is to our place but instead you made my birthday an extremely stressful and money-robbing experience. read more

I love this place so much!!!! It is so much fun to come here and just be with friends for hours! They have several billiard tables and even a bowling alley! The food here is great as well and so are the drinks. I love the three planes they have outside and it makes the place really stand out and be unique. Along with the billiards and bowling they have giant Jenga, shuffleboard, and outdoor chess in the warmer months. Ok 5:10 ish we got a table that would fit part of us, because we had to wait for people to leave. Mind you we made reservations several weeks ago. Then as many people have stated the service is very, very inadequate and very slow to get any orders taken, then awhile to serve drinks. Then not to mention it took 45 minutes to over an hour to get our order of a, well very small pizza. Only to be served with excuses when the other pizza at our table were full size. Then you ask for a manager and they have NONE on staff and they could try and call if we wanted to. Of course they couldn't get a manager on the phone.
