I like to try local out of the way places and after visiting the Hill Air Museum we found ourselves on the way to antelope Island, hungry and wanting something to eat. I checked out trusty Yelp and this place was kind of on the route cute little out-of-the-way place on the corner of a strip mall. I was hoping for inside seating but it's more of a grab to go place. They did have bistro table with two chairs out front which was nice so we use them. Hubby opted for the hangry dog and I chose the Chicago and we added a small fry. Great hotdogs they are fat and juicy. I enjoyed it very much and really hit the spot. They pack them in a nice container too so if you're planning a picnic or eating on the go I'd ask for a fork too they are loaded and kinda messy so plan accordingly. Definitely check them out best hotdogs in town!

I have been going to Hangry Dog since it opened the first day; the food is delicious, and fresh and you just love the vibe when you are there. They have grown since the first day they opened, they used to only have a hand full of items on their menu, but now they have expanded and have added more than 30 different items. Their hot dogs are my favorite, they are all beef and you have a few different options; I love that they have the Mexican bacon wrapped hot dog as well, it's One of my favorites. Something else that I love is the chilli they make some really good chili and I love chilli akd It's hard to find good chilli. So if you love chilli like it do you much stop by and try theres. The nachos are also really good and I like getting mines with chilli and cheese and peppers. It's really good. The customer service is always great, everyone treats your like family and they remember you and your favorite foods and order. I really like that about them. I also love that they talk to you like a person and not just some regular old person. Great place and I definitely return because of all the love they give you. The ambiance is very nice and small and just makes you feel like you are at a family dinner and or gathering, it gives great vibes and i love how they have upgraded the inside. Overall this is an amazing place to come by and eat and get some good hot dogs and tacos and nachos, and let's not forget the chilli.

Hangry Dog is no longer on my take out menu!As a local customer, I'm always in support of small businesses, but lately, there has been an influx of local businesses increasing prices and lessening the portions. Today, I ordered large steak fries for $16. Ouch, but I don't mind paying for quality food and service. However, upon inspection, this has been the smallest portion I have ever received for this absurd price. To top it off, I asked for extra sauce, and I was told that I could only get one for free. The taste is still quality, don't get me wrong, but the fries were stone cold. Hopefully, they can get back to their A game. I'm overall disappointed with this establishment.

Very definition of a hole in the wall. Very small it's a taco/ hotdog cart with walls. Yes there's a table but no one can sit at it as it's also where the line stands. Most order their food and go back to their car to wait for it to cook. There's only two guys working so it took a about 15-20 minutes to prepare. But the wait was worth it as the tacos were really tasty. A little on the expensive side, thus 4 stars. Prices must have been raised recently as the tacos are now $2.50, Quesabirria $3.50, consommé is $1.50 extra, burritos $9.99, Hangry Taco $8.50 (for a large taco?)

I ordered the classic dog and the chili dog and a small order Philly cheesesteak fries. The dogs were quite good (pro-tip, you may need to use a knife and fork). I added raw onions and jalapeños. I love that they were generous with the jalapeños. The cheesesteak fries were okay but not necessary awesome.

I still love Hangry Dog !! This time I tried 3x Mexican Street Tacos. One with each of the three meats, and I added a side of guacamole and topped each one with guacamole, fresh cilantro, green salsa, and a squeeze of lime juice. *I loved it !!* And under $10.00 - makes it a great lunch. : )

This place was absolutely amazing! After reading all the good Yelp reviews, we decided to try place...and we are soooo glad we did. It's an itsy bitsy place on a strip mall behind the Tesoro gas station. Blink and you'll miss it. They've got a big cow bell that rings when you walk in and the sweetest lady comes to greet you. We already eyeballed the menu on Yelp, so we knew what we wanted. We ordered quickly and they started cooking right away. The smells from the kitchen were to die for! It made us that much more excited to try the food. The food didn't take long at all and we were on our way. The lady gave us 3 green sauces in little containers before we walked out the door. We decided to eat our food in a nearby parking lot. Thankfully she provided us with forks, knives, and plenty of napkins. My fiancé and I started with the Hangry Taco. The carne asada was so flavorful!!! We smothered our tacos in the green sauce (that has a tiny little kick) and inhaled them. They were a little bit smaller than we though they were, so we were glad we got some carne asada fries to share. The fries were also amazingly delicious! So full of flavor and every fry was covered! My fiancé and I polished off everything! We will definitely be back!

Wow! Great hidden little gem! We had carbe asada street tacos with onion and fresh cilantro and they were legit! Filled with lots of very lean meat with a great flavor! Bext we had Chili Dog, Sonora Dog and a Danger Dog! Chili was excellent and lean, hotdogs were delish and not real greasy! Small Place has one table to eat in but we took it home and it was still hot and fresh! I highly recommend this locally owned and operated place! Go get you some! read more

The food is delicious! We love tacos (who doesn't) and theirs are some of the best around! Drooling while writing this. Tonight we got the Sonora dog (yum!), street tacos and churros. It's pretty much take out only. There is a table and two chairs but mostly just for waiting. The customer service is always great. We always leave with smiles, ready to make our bellies happy! My son and I were looking for a new local place to grab lunch. We came across the Hangry Dog. We decided to give it a shot. We are SO happy that we did! One small table inside, very personable, little mom and pop place. Small family owned. We were the only ones there for about 5 minutes. After that 20 people came and went with their food orders. Awesome little hole in the wall! I have seen this on Yelp for a while but never took the time to check it out. I am glad I decided to try it today. Had a Danger dog and it was delicious. This is my go to place when I am up north. I will go out of my way to stop here. Only bad thing I can say is that they are closed on mondays. Everyone needs a day off, but man was I sad when I got there and remembered. Cheese fries and street tacos are always a yes from me read more

The address on Yelp is wrong. They are in Sunset not in Clearfield. We got there at 10 minutes to 10 and the guy was super gracious and allowed us to order. We both ordered the street tacos and they were really good! The meat almost has a double crisp. Yet tender and very flavorful. I hate meat that's not flavored well. The sauces were outstanding. We didn't order the hot dogs this time, but for your information, they are all beef. Undetermined if they are Kosher. I almost think there should be more variety of the hotdog flavors. We will be back. I really want to try the carne asada fries. Thanks for seeing us so close to closing! We were starving. read more

The food is really good. We have tried most of the tacos and love them all. The birria tacos are probably the best. We have only tried one hot dog, but it was tasty. The only reason they aren't 5 stars is because of the price. The price adds up quick when trying to feed a small family. Definitely worth trying. read more

Okay. Hear me out. This establishment is a must try for all kinds, be you a local, exploring the region, or just passing through. Hangry Dog is a flavor destination that is more that meets the eyes. Doubling as a hot take combination between a Hot Dog joint and a Mexican restaurant. And who would have ever guessed you would find the best hot dog in town at a Mexican restaurant, and the best Mexican food at a hot dog eatery! The camera did not eat first tonight, the aroma will have you eager and ready for the flavor sensation you will experience at first bite. Excellent all around. There was only one guy (I wish I had caught his name) running the place around 3:30 today, and he made our food fresh and super fast, and it was just BEAUTIFUL. Never thought I'd use that word to describe a humble hot dog, but it really was. The dogs they use have that perfect snap, and the buns are toasty and warm. I got the Sonora dog and it was YUMMY. Great fries too. I sure hope they expand and are able to bring in some more menu items. Go there right now, I'm not kidding. I hear they get busy during peak hours so be patient, it's totally worth it. Also, TERRIFIC service. Thanks so much!! read more

Tiny place with fantastic food. While I wasn't expecting much in a burrito from a place called Hangry dogs , I was pleasantly surprised. The carne asada is cooked to perfection and is large enough to serve two meals or fill you with glutinous regret. Got food for a group of my coworkers too and it was unanimous. Great bohemian place in the Burbs. Great dogs and great tacos along with some fantastic specialty items! The first time i got food from here i jumped back in my car drove back and ordered more! It is a small hole in the wall location so not great for seating or large parties. Best for order ahead or order out. The food is fantastic, I have never left feeling unsatisfied with my food order and if it was never enough, I'll just drive back and get more! read more

When I mentioned that I was missing the summer "corn on the cob", someone asked me if I'd ever tried Mexican corn on the cob. Elote Loco. No, I answered. So off I was to find it... I can only speak for The Spanglish "corn on the stick" (as seen on their menu; also known as Crazy Corn/Elote Loco). A very sturdy and full heavy corn on the cob with mayo, cheese, butter, and chili powder. It was absolutely delicious and VERY filling. I highly recommend it and definitely will be trying again!
