My sister always wanted to try this place so we did and by far amazing, very fresh, everything was good, they had big huge burrito shells and the rice was amazing very fresh and i loved how the meat was prepared. I really enjoyed my experience, and will definitely be returning to this place again. Thank you all for your amazing food and awesome customer service.

Food was ehhh not the best I've had my shells were so brown looking and it just looked so thrown together but the main reason for the 2 stars and why I'm writing this because the customer service was TERRIBLE the order taker was so rude and the speaker was crappy i could barley even hear them overall just wasn't a great experience to get from someone your about to hand money to. If you hate you job find a new one!

The food here is decently priced, and tastes quite delicious most the time, but their wait times are the WORST inside and out that I have ever experienced in fast food. Last night, was even worse which is why I feel compelled to share this review. First off, the staff is ALWAYS rude, especially over the intercom, maybe just to certain colored people, as I have seen them in the inside being respectful of Hispanic guests but not other races, way to be racist! I went through the drive thru at 8:32 pm and ordered the crispy burritos (just 2, no combo) and an order of rolled tacos (again no combo), it took nearly an hour (9:23pm) trapped between cars before I could get my food! That is 100% unacceptable! I will just drive out of my way to go to a different one that has better management!

Every Thursday I've watched my coworker eat a bacon and egg breakfast burrito in front of me for the last 3 weeks. It looked and smelled unbelievably good, so I HAD to try one for myself. I also drive by this location everyday for work and I've noticed the drive-thru is normally insane, so I opted to come early morning on a Saturday instead. There were still a few cars ahead of me but the wait only took about 8 minutes. The guy at the window was friendly and I got my food without much of a wait. I ended up ordering a large horchata and a bacon and egg burrito. They were so so so so so delicious. It may have been because I was starving, but dang was it good. Seriously better than the place I used to go to in San Diego. I really love that their food isn't overly greasy, which can be expected when eating Mexican fast food. Will be returning for next cheat meal!

My husband and I showed up a little before 7:00pm on a Sunday night without reservations. Luckily they weren't too busy, but the hostess was a little cold towards us. After that interaction, my we were worried we chose the wrong place for my husband's birthday dinner. Our waiter, Chris L, completely changed the experience for us. I cannot sing his praises enough! He gave us great recommendations, refilled our drinks before they were gone, and he took care of an issue (even though we didn't think it was an issue). He was very personable and made our dining experience a great experience. As for the food, hold the front door! You want an amazing steak at a decent price? This is the place! My steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the flavor was insane! That goes for every single thing we ate, from the bread before we ordered to the sides to our main course. Nothing was less than excellent. We ordered the firecracker chicken wraps to start. The only way I know how to describe them as is they're like a bomb chicken taquito...and that's avocado lime sauce was amazing! Our waiter told us to try the spicy chicken bites next time (we almost ordered those). For the main course, I had the filet and I loved it! My husband had the Outlaw Ribeye and felt the same way. We both ordered a baked potato and mac & cheese for our sides (we were so happy there was the option to substitute the salad). The sides were delicious, especially the mac and cheese! I need that in a gallon container please! Since it was my husband's birthday, I made him get a dessert, and we're both so happy he did. He ordered the chocolate stampede. It was chocolatey, smooth, and paired well with the vanilla bean ice cream. It definitely put us over the edge, but worth it! I can't wait to go back and have another steak diner. It's all I can think about!

When we arrived, we were told there would be a 45-minute wait, which was understandable. Since there was a wait, we asked if we could sit at the bar instead. We could clearly see a few open seats together, but the hostess told us, "There's no room." I pointed out the empty seats, and she replied, "You can sit there, but you might not get service." I then asked if food service was available at the bar, and she said it was -- but that it would still take at least 45 minutes to get food. We sat down briefly, but the bar area was dirty, and honestly, the interaction left us feeling unwelcome. The tone and attitude from the hostess came across as if she really didn't want us eating there at all. So we decided to leave. That was the disappointing part -- because we actually enjoyed the food during our previous visit. Unfortunately, customer service can completely change the experience, and this time it did.

Recently we had a not so great experience at a chain steak house and this more than made up for it . Worth the drive from Slc for sure . Bobbi was our server and she is the best we've had . Kept up with fresh bread and a carafe of ice tea. She was super personable and fun . The bread to start off was very fresh , soft and with the butter- chefs kiss. 3 of us got Salads and I chose the French onion soup . The broth was delicious and even though it was packed with flavor -surprisingly light. Salads were hearty and veggie forward . 3 of us got steak plates but have to mention how huge the county fried steak was -with an option of country gravy or brown gravy . That definitely will keep you full . The steaks were juicy-cooked, to perfection. My snow crab kept me occupied for most of my meal but I rarely get the option to add crab to a meal so why not. It was absolutely fantastic with the butter . We all left with doggy bags . I also had made a reservation a week before we knew we were going to visit as from photos I was not able to tell how big it was. It actually is quite huge . There are covered wagons that seat up to 10 , a private banquet area and table tops available. The decor is fun and you can actually walk around to see more of it . Since we had a reservation we didn't have to wait but there is a bar in the front incase you wish to grab a quick drink while waiting for your table . If you're a steak lover and have an appetite, definitely add Prairie Schooner to your list . I can definitely see it being a popular spot for Mothers /Fathers day and celebrations . Perhaps even take on their 20 oz Porterhouse and pair it with one of their cast iron desserts to celebrate. Until next time , Thank you for the great dining experience.!

The crowd can be a little rough and it is a Bar, must be 21 years or older. It has typical bar food, hamburgers and anything you can put in a fryer. But on Thursdays and Saturday Nights, after 6:00PM it is steak night. I usually don't like local grills for steaks, they're usually terrible. But not here, one of the best steaks I've had outside a high dollar steak house. After 6PM it is time for steaks, they close down the other menu items and you have a choice of steak (Ribeye) or steak (Ribeye). You can choose your temperature, I chose MR, and it was probably Med, but that's okay. Comes with a baked potato, a roll and grilled onions and mushrooms. But what stands out was the flavor, so good, place got a little smokey as they grilled. I really like mushrooms and grilled onions, but the steak didn't need em. I took mine off and enjoyed the steak as it was. I did finish the mushrooms and onions as a side. Highly recommend steak night. The salad was plain with cheese and croutons, nothing special. The Potato was cooked perfectly with a cooked crunchy skin, soft potato goodness in the middle. Came with butter and sour cream, I would have liked some cheese, bacon and chives, but it was still good. Lots of food, didn't try dessert. My wife enjoyed her steak too but would have liked some other options, it was a lot of food for her. But lunch for me the next day. Our waitress Zoe was new but very good, very attentive, and very friendly. Well done Zoe. Keep it up Rainbow Saloon.

I ordered the New York Steak which also includes two sides. I had to pay an additional fee to upgrade my steak to 12 oz (definitely would not have been an issue had the restaurant followed instructions! -sigh-). I explicitly requested my steak be WELL DONE with absolutely no pink meat whatsoever. And whaddya know? The 12 oz steak arrived, grilled to perfection on the outside, with nothing but pink, raw (and raw tasting) meat on the inside. Ugh. This steak had so much potential and could have easily been a five star review. It was juicy and tender, but raw. Then, I'm reading all these reviews on here stating people wanted a medium rare and how overcooked and dry their steaks were. Do the chef's all have dyslexia or something? Because what other's received is exactly how I wanted mine done (minus the dryness of course..wink, wink). Anyways, chopped it all up and re-fired on the stove with a little butter spray as pink meat makes me violently ill. It worked out in the end, but the steak definitely wasn't flavorful. However, it became edible, though I should not have to take the time because my bank account was hurting me after this purchase. A steakhouse chef cannot actually cook a WELL DONE steak or follow explicit "no pink meat" instructions? Something seriously is wrong there. Anyways, my two sides were sauteed mushrooms (just little button brown is what you receive with a small amount of unflavored sauce at the bottom). Once again, had to "doctor " those up to make them edible as well. At least those were in their own separate container with a secure lid for the drive home as I had requested that ALL sides be in their own separate containers to prevent cross contamination. My second side that I requested was the Parmesan tomato. Basically it's a full tomato cut into two halves with melted cheese and seasoning on top. The tomato was very ripe, juicy , and fresh tasting. The issue was, that when you took a bite all that cheese and seasoning fell off of it completely. Not only that, but the two tomato halves were in the same container as the steak. Yuck! And remember I requested it all be separate from each other. The tomatoes had the fat/grease steak taste and pretty much ruined the value and taste of them. There were absolutely zero condiments, utensils, or napkins given for the "to go" order which I found to be a bit cheap and bizarre considering the cost of the meal, 20% tip, etc. This restaurant DOES have potential with at least what I just recently tried. Sounds like the employees and management don't care too much though for customer service or reading comprehension. Could have been five stars. Guess they all just don't care too much over at this place.
