Beware of this place! I went in for a simple tire change (seeing all the positive reviews), but…read moreafterwards the owner told me to follow him into the shop because they found other problems. He and his mechanic then proceeded to shake two of my wheels which shook pretty bad, telling me that it is dangerous to drive around like that and that I had to get additional things fixed. He then showed me his estimate for the job which was pretty high. Frankly, when the wheels shook like that, I panicked a little and thought about getting it repaired then and there despite the cost, but then remembered a time when another mechanic did something similar at another shop (showing me shaky wheels) which turned out to be nothing but a scam to scare naive customers into spending more money. I took the car to three other mechanics, one of them a friend of mine and just as I suspected, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the wheels. Upon closer inspection, it seemed they either loosened a bolt or two somewhere behind the wheels to shake them like that to scare the customer (me), then tightened it back again when they realized I wasn't taking the bait. The owner seemed nice enough and competent at first, but I think they take advantage of alot of customers this way, especially women and some of the Korean population here, so I would really beware of this place. I could only imagine how many other of their customers have already fallen for sneaky, underhanded stunts like this to scare them into dishing out extra money for repairs they never really needed, including some of the positive reviewers on here, unbeknownst to them. I've even heard of some shops that actually break parts that were perfectly fine going in to drum up business, so always get SECOND or THIRD opinion whenever a shop 'shows' you sudden costly repairs that you apparently need. You will end up saving hundreds and hundreds of dollars of unnecessary repairs. Also, it goes without saying, but never trust how nice or accomodating they first appear to be. All that means nothing.

Price wasn't spectacular (this was quoted in 3 diff shops in Paramus) but this was closest to dealership, so I agree. I call next day at 10 AM to if I can come at 1, and he says come now. I go with the used car. First thing - no "hi" or nothing. OK, no biggie, anyone can have a bad day. He (appeared to be owner/manager) lifts the car WITHOUT asking me ANYTHING - didnt' even confirm if I was the guy who made the call... and starts doing something. His just looks at stuff w/flash light.. and that's it. I've been to other used car inspection places and i can see them connecting their digital diagnostics tool to the car. This time? NOTHING. He just looks.. and that's it. Then I get a PIECE of paper w/scribbles on it. Can barely make out what it says. He does speak to me about what the issues are but there's NO report whatsoever - no measurements, no readings, no nothing. I needed this report to negotiate with the seller. He won't give it. Worst - he starts getting MAD and starts screaming that I'm asking "too much".. and that i'm bothering him in his busy time, when there was NO OTHER CAR at the time except mine. I keep asking for something more detailed since i'm getting it from a dealer and it's gonna be looked by pros. He tells me to pay additional $150/hr and will give me formal report. Worst part - he is screaming and pestered at 11 AM in the morning on a WEEKDAY. The dealership's sales employee was with me .. and he even screams at this poor guy - for WHAT? I never asked him to talk to the dealer's sale guy. He's mad b/c im asking him to give me more detailed report? All in all, TERRIBLE experience. I've done 3 used car inspections the past month - and by FAR, this was the WORST. Will NEVER EVER go here again. I question all the reviews on this shop.

Jimmy is a Greek man; but that's not to say anything except, you will hear him speaking in native tongue a lot of the time, and that wont mean he's trying to rip you off.
