You can't access the garden center from the outside, you need to go all the way inside, then carry all your plants back to the front to cash out. 3. They don't have tap to pay, so if you don't have your physical card with you... SOL, babe. 4. The store could use a deep clean. 5. The self check out kiosks are the worst (the employees guarding them are also super unfriendly). There's like eight of them and every single time I come, maaaaaaybe half are operational. The young cashier turns on the blinking light and we begin our wait This is my second lane, the others were way too long. Somebody over the airwaves calls for more cashiers, but fails to think about managers who could ok the purchase of alcohol. So we wait and wait. There was one young manager who looked of age, but wasn't. So me and the cashier wait more. .She apologizes. Finally, the lone guy that could check me out casually goes to 2 other blinking lights before coming our way. He obviously saw our need, but Instead of quickly coming over, he casually went to a station near the carts. He took his sweet time leisurely messing around it before slowly walking to our lane. He then said he was sorry for the wait. This is possibly the fifteen time I've waited too long to check out here. I'll pass on this place and go somewhere with better management. The pizza - Soppresatta was packed with flavor, salty, spicy, little sweet from a touch of honey and a very fresh, slightly punchy sauce - keeps some acidity and tastes lively. The crust was delicious, from what I read, this is a sourdough crust. Definitely had some good character and flavor to it.. I got this heated before eating it. The vegan special - obviously I'm not vegan, but that pizza looked phenomenal. Had to try it. This one did not get heated up as it was suggested to leave it cold (logical considering it basically has a salad on top). I don't know what the vegan cheese was but it tasted like a whipped ricotta/goat cheese would. The fresh tomato, pickled peppers and red onion all played perfectly together. I'd certainly go back here. A little on the pricey side but I think it rang in around $18 on these 2 slices (yes, pictured is considered a slice of each) I was plenty satisfied.

I was searching for a slice this afternoon and immediately knew my target when I saw a photo of the pillowy Sicilian pizza here. It was even better than it looked, and it looked great. The crust tastes like a fresh baked focaccia, the sauce has a lush flavor (the sauce was the star of the pizza if I had to choose), and the cheese was a substantial herb-topped layer without being heavy. It's also approximately 9 for a large "slab" that could easily be split for lunch. This is also some of the only pizza I've ever had that is similar to the Sicilian slices I had growing up in Cambridge and going to Armando's (for any Bostonians that may know!) so it had a nostalgic element for me. It's always crowded in here, but Mainers are nicer than other TJ shoppers in other states, so it's tolerable. Love the artwork on the signs. Loveeeee the prices! So affordable. Such great quality food too. Just wish there was a Trader Joe's in central Maine. Begging you! Please! Augusta area desperately needs one! There is only one tiny health food store in the entire area.
