Pretty well stocked place. Best grocery store in Boothbay Harbor. Prices were decent, and selection was good.

Had no need to use the pharmacy, if you needed a flu or Covid shot you can go to Walgreens and try that store.

This is a review update: Shaw's has made some really nice improvements to their store in Wiscasset…read more They have updated and modernized. The produce looks better and the meats look better. My wife and I still spend about $50 more on groceries at Shaws than Market Basket or Walmart. Shaws please listen to me, get rid of your gimmicks. I hate scouring the app looking for deals with digital coupons and I'm not the only one I'm sure. Get rid of the fab five deals and just give us the deals. It's confusing. Also stop doing must buy three and limit two this is the main things that drives me and others away from Shaws. Shaws could be a really nice grocery store to shop at if they just made a few more improvements. What really turns me off from going there is they have started asking for everyones ID regardless of age, lets say I have a grey mustache and several bags and lines in my face. Stopped in this evening and picked up some ZERO alcohol beer and wine and they wanted my ID! I just left everything on the counter and they lost a sale of about 50 bucks, but they didn't seem to care at all. I do not want my license entered into a machine at all! This is enough to make me stop going here at all! Just when they take a couple steps forward, they go 3 back!

My husband and I have always been a bit shocked at the prices yes. So we have not shopped here much…read moreover the past few years. But. Not wanting to spend another $50 on lunch at the usual places in town we decided to grab some tuna salad today and eat outside. I bought an Asian salad with noodles and peanuts and carrots and incredible dressing. I swear, this was the best salad I've had in months if not years. I'm not kidding. Even the carrots stood out, were different. Delicious. The fennel is 2 or 3 times bigger than fennel at the grocery stores, $4.99 (usually about $3.99 at the others) 4 kinds of plantain chips. Fantastic low sugar pineapple soda from Mexico. Beautiful corn. After eating this food today at a picnic table over on Pemaquid Pond, we are doing a complete reversal and going to start shopping here a lot more. Yes it's expensive but vegetables do taste different, esp when they're not flown in from far away. And the attitudes of the employees is joyful and welcoming, such a good feeling. Good Job Rising Tide!

So I had this desire, but what could I do with it?I I got on line, and decided to call Rising Tide, I spoke with their front desk manager Kate, who is fabulous by the way, and within no time she jumped on board my bandwagon. They don't have a delivery service, but another wonderful employee said she would be happy to deliver my gift. Within an hour they put together a lovely gift bag for me. Fresh flowers, a bottle of red wine, an array of organic chocolates, a yummy creamy cheese, specialty crackers, grapes, and a lovely card. Kate even wrote my personal sentiments inside the card for me. In about one hour they took my desire to do something nice, and brought my wish into fruition. Talk about angels on earth!! Kate accidently forgot to charge me for the grapes, and wanted to pay for those herself. I can never say enough about the employees of Rising Tide Co-op and their hearts for service. Bravo my friends!! Thank you for all you do!! You deserve acknowlegement for just being you! You can bet if I ever make it back to your area, Rising Tide will be my first stop! I can't wait to meet you!

We offer good quality wines that are also good values in the low-medium price range. Local and organic wines, too.

Came in to price a camera, to order online. Saw that the store actually had it in stock. Stood at the electronics counter for 10 mins, and nobody came to assist. Found the guy in the aisle, and he made no attempt to help. Didn't even say hello. So, I walked away. Guess I'll spend my $600 elsewhere. Also the plus size clothing selection at this store is HORRENDOUS. It's terrible. All year round, this is where they decide to drop their clearance racks for other clothing departments to make the section appear full. All of the clothes are cheap nasty material that nobody wants, certain things have been there since last fall. It's truly pathetic! Their bathrooms are an absolute dumpster fire. ALL THE TIME. Don't even get me started on their idiotic parking lot and the drivers that park there. None of these customers have any right to even have a drivers licenses. Everybody is arrogant and entitled. I can't even tell you how many times the handicap parking is invaded by non handicap people that don't have any compassion. The only saving grace this store has is that they have the new Alpine Blast Poppi soda in stock and their door greeters are the nicest people in the world. That's it. Literally everything else SUCKS!

In the deli, I saw the WICKED VEGGIE WRAP on the menu and was looking forward to this that wrap that I enjoyed over the years. Very very disappointing... What my wife and I split was mostly lettuce with a sparse amount of cherry tomatoes, red onion and little else. Some mild dressing and that's about all it had. Quite tasteless actually, since it was mostly lettuce. The WICKED VEGGIE WRAP wrap that this store used to have consisted of a breaded eggplant slice, plenty of creamy hummus, roasted peppers, red onion, some lettuce and perhaps cheese. Very flavorful. They shouldn't be calling this the SAME thing as what the prior owner named it since it's not at all the same sandwich. This was also way overpriced for what they made for me. The gift store used to have some great items but now their inventory is quite different. Unfortunately, times do change.

The younger staff are great and do their best while some of the older (but newer) staff seem to have a very negative attitude. I recently had an exchange with a woman with grey hair behind the counter during the peak lunch time and she was incredibly rude which seemed unnecessary. This use to be a store where you could walk in, be greeted kindly and talk about local news. Now, it's clear that the ownership prioritizes what's more trendy and high prices over costumer service and friendliness. We also ordered several sandwiches which were incredibly disappointing. We ordered two "hot sandwiches". One that had cold chicken and a warm outside and another that wasn't heated/baked at all. I am hoping it was an off day for all and will try again. I recommend this store for visitors but for those whole live on the island or are seasonal, beware!
