Lots of games! Rock'em Sock'em Robots for the win!

We took our granddaughter to the Coastal Botanical Christmas lights and this was such a great spot for dinner! We loved our drink specials and the BBQ was amazing! Waitress accommodated our hungry kiddo so kindlyHonestly thought I had posted review back in December, but we'll be aback for sure!

We had a nice time having lunch here. Didn't take pictures but we had some beers and our experience was good. Had to wait for a bit for our drinks, since there was only one wait staff but our food was out pretty quick. Would go back and visit if in the area.

First time trying this place out and it had a good vibe and plenty of patrons. It has an extended room with darts available. They have a nice selection of craft beer and mixed libations. Simple food is also available but we didn't try it. I tried the hazy IPA which had a grapefruit flavor to it and we also had a mixed vodka drink that was refreshing. Definitely worth a visit to try some local craft beer.

We had such a fun night here! The woman serving at the bar was fantastic, fun clientele, great beer and amazing beef tips! Go for the flight - they have so many nice beers to offer. View can't be beat!

Second time here, on our vacation away from Florida. Great brewery. Each beer tastes different than the other. Full bodied taste; you almost don't need a meal with them. Pretzel and cheese was great. The other day we had the tips that tasted amazing. And today we used the bathrooms with my little one. The one bathroom catered to babies with a changing table and diapers of all sizes. Worked well for my princess. The other bathroom..... lol. Gotta love it!

We travel all the time and NO everyone does not come to Maine to eat the "Lobstah". It's refreshing to see someone put a lot of hard work into a product that is outside the normal in. Space that is dominated by seafood. We have ate here twice in three days and would have ate a third time if it was not closed on Tuesday's. The owner has a passion for slow cooking meat and yes it's funny but until you tried smoking meat, you will never understand. The building is a refurbished IT/Marketing company and has an old school charm. You can smell the smoke walking through the parking lot. The food is a 100 and the drinks match. Come eat land animals while in BBH.

This is a MUST STOP for bbq lovers. The brisket sandwich blew my mind. The bark with the maple whiskey sauce was divine. The strawberry rhubarb beer was a nice addition. Would absolutely recommend (pls forgive the picture-- I had already started demolishing it)

You can find Footbridge Brewery & Bridgehouse BBQ right on the water in Boothbay - 25 Granary Way, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538. There's some parking right by the brewery but I was there during off-season - probably will need to park along the streets above and walk down. Interesting little brewpub that also serves barbecue (first BBQ I've tried in Maine so had no expectations). The interior is a bit low as the place is in a basement with rooms that extend towards the other side of the building. There's also seating outside that extends down towards the water. There's a bar along the leading wall and the place was fairly busy - tables extend into other rooms with a bathroom at the very back (still had the original 30's era tile). For beer I loaded up a flight of 4 from the menu: * Why So Blue Blonde Ale 4.9% ABV - 3.5/5 Fairly tasty crushable sour with blueberry notes, slightly floral finish. Well balanced and fairly clean. * Rattlin' Bog Fruited Gose 5% ABV - 4/5 Nice cranberry sour with a touch of salt in the otherwise clean finish. * Struberry Rarbarb Farmhouse Ale 6.5% - 4/5 Light wheaty farmhouse with fruity strawberry nose, fairly easy drinking, crisp finish. * Raw Nordic Raw IPA 6.5% ABV - 3.5/5 They listed this as a "Nordic Raw IPA" - earthy, bready body with a bitter finish, a bit odd and very dry. For dinner I had the Brisket Tray - 1/3rd pound of beef brisket with two sides - I choose the Gumbo-style Greens and Cole Slaw. Tray also came with a slice of cornbread. I thought the BBQ good with a fair amount of rind but I'm used to it being sliced a bit thicker so it seemed dry to me. I ordered two sauces - one was a mustardy sauce but it definitely wasn't Carolina style - more a loosened up yellow mustard. The other was a Maple and Bourbon sauce which was sweet and a bit odd - honestly I didn't much care for either (they also charged for the extra sauce). I'm not sure if these are sauces that are common the Maine? I did like the slaw and greens so they made up for things a bit. Service was excellent - you order at the bar and they deliver to your table.

We stopped in on a very rainy afternoon after a boat trip for lunch. Plenty of room, but the place filled up quickly. This is a very casual spot where you place your order for food and drink at the counter, and then it is delivered to you when ready. There are a variety of seating options from long community tables to cozy couches, etc... We enjoyed a flight of beer, some very interesting, some not quite to our liking, but overall very good. Prices felt reasonable for the offering and pours. With regard to food, I can never resist a pretzel on the menu and these were hot and good, but not great. The same can be said for the BBQ sampler plate we ordered, again the bbq was good, but we've had better. I found all the BBQ meats had a seasoning on them (perhaps the dry rub) that I didn't really love. Again, nothing bad here at all, but I can't say I loved any of the food served to me. Service was friendly and pretty efficient. We would stop by here again, perhaps for a drink and a pretzel.

I was already in a foul mood, walking in here set me into straight sensory overload. It's a bar where they sing. I am unable to get inebriated enough to enjoy bars where they sing any longer. Call me miserable, maybe I suppose. In addition to the merry old fella belting it out on the mic, we had the joy of having some drunk guy in a large group behind us try and out sing him without a microphone. He even challenged the old guy singing to a form of a duel. Anyway I was so off, I cannot remember anything about my server at all. Nothing. I do remember almost screaming and running out. I sat there trying not to lose it while my wife had the time of her life. Every song made it worse, everyone else is singing, I am dying. When the guy took a break, guess what, dickhead from the crowd goes up and takes over. Shots helped at this point and the weed is kicking in well at this point. Now I'm hungry... My food was inedible and I'm pretty sure incomplete as well. The worst flatbread in the history of flatbreads. C's looked pretty good actually so I am sure her experience was quite different than mine. I hope to never return. '25 - extra

Fantastic and creative brews (and "guest stars" like a Absalom cider), a very relaxing and chill vibe, a nice open space inside, and incredible seating options outside, even in the winter. Lots of outdoor activities, including x-country skiing free of charge, and plenty of parking. Not having been here before, my friend and I appreciated the clear signage of where to go for food vs. gear. We were fortunate to get to the barn before all the morning skiers arrived for lunch and were able to order and seat ourselves pretty quickly upstairs. We looked at the menu and went back downstairs to order food and drinks. The drinks we carried upstairs, but the pizza we ordered was brought to us. To pay and to order more drinks, downstairs you go. And with the free x-country ski trails, on a nice day, this place jams up pretty fast. Soon tables are packed, there are lines to get food and drinks, and to use the 3 individual non-gender restrooms. Just a few things I found a bit odd or inconvenient - 1) They have a wonderful beer selection, but don't do flights :( 2) The hybrid service model is a bit confusing and certainly inconvenient. Technology could certainly help smooth this out. 3) To pay, you either have to pay in full (and tip) when you order, or have to wait in line at the same line where people are ordering in order to pay, 4) 3 single bathrooms are not enough for the peak capacity Aside from the wonderful beer selection, the highlights were free x-country skiing with a warming hut, plenty of parking and friendly staff. This is my new go-to winter refuge :)

It's the kind of place where you immediately feel welcome. The Mean Greens are the star of the show. Truly fantastic. The cornbread is generously portioned and perfectly moist, exactly how cornbread should be. The baked beans are straightforward baked beans -- nothing fancy, but solid. The ribs, though, were the disappointment. They were fall‑off‑the‑bone tender, which we appreciated, but they had almost no flavor and absolutely no smokiness. We honestly found ourselves wondering if they were even smoked at all. Barbecue sauce was a requirement, not an option.
