So nice, I visited twice. And I think this might be the best coffee shop in Boothbay, and if you're going anywhere else... you're missing out. You want a reliably good coffee drink? A smoothie made with fresh produce to help break up the copious amounts of fried seafood you're consuming? A quiet place to read or do work or have a meeting or rest before your adventures? Brisettos. Brisettos. Brisettos. (Seriously, do yourself a favor and go check out their upstairs. It's spacious, loads of comfortable seating, and really fun people watching with the boats boarding across the street.) I came at 9am to get a 16 oz cold brew, black. I came again at 1pm and the guy behind the counter looked at me and said, "Welcome back. Another 16 oz cold brew? Black?" What kind of sorcery is this? There were loads of people in front of me and behind me during my AM visit, so it's not like I had time for much of an interaction with them; they were slammed. And when I came back there were a couple people in front of me ordering more complicated drinks. But they remembered me! And if you look at their reviews across the internet that's the thing you'll see stand out: they lock in on their customers, they make you feel like you're a part of their community, they see you. I feel seen through more often than not now when ordering, so this is something tremendously special (and a hell of a skill to have). Brisettos is the ONLY answer for coffee in Boothbay. read more

We stayed at an RV park up the road and were on the desperate search for a coffee shop that opened by 7 AM so we popped on Yelp and found Brisetto's 2nd cup. I ordered a dirty chai, which is very tasty and deliciously warm and my spouse ordered a latte which is delicious. They do offer some pastries, but we did not indulge. Wowowowow! I love Brisetto!s because their drinks have so much to offer. The menu includes cappuccino, lattes, espresso, mocha, smoothies, and fresh juices. After spending loads of time in Boothbay I've come to the conclusion that you get the most bang for your buck at Brisetto's. Their coffee is bold but not overpowering, they have loads of syrups to flavor your drink, and they have incredible seating. The second floor has what looks like a living room full of couches, tables, and a view of the harbor. read more

I only had hot chocolate here, but I wish I had the opportunity to try more...and to have more hot chocolate! Brisetto's hot chocolate was fantastic to me, and while everything is personal, the way it's made here is exactly the way I like it -- not too sweet, not too heavy or too thin, but with rich flavor and 'weight' to it. The staff members are friendly and patient. The shop's menu had loads of coffee, tea, and smoothie options, as well as a variety of pastries. There's a small table or two on the ground level, and plenty of seating in the large, bright second-floor space, with wonderful views of the harbor, Bay, and town. Given the opportunity, I will definitely return! (One Note: There's a pricey parking lot just across the street, but I'd recommend parking a couple of blocks up the hill in the MUCH more affordable municipal parking lot.) read more

Florin, the owner (and barista), was extremely friendly! It was great to learn more about the story behind the meaning of "Second Cup" (the original Brisetto's Coffee is in Romania!) Also, our coffees were delicious! It was also great to find dairy-free milk options for my iced coffee. Every time we travel to a vacation destination my husband and I look for a local coffee shop. We found this one using Yelp and it didn't disappoint. I can honestly say this was the best latte I've ever had in my entire life, and I try a lot of coffee! It was the most smooth creamy and flavorful with the perfect amount of sweetness. my only disappointment was that we returned a couple hours later to literally have a "2nd cup" but the store was already closed for the season. Brisetto's is an amazing local coffee shop with a good selection of drink options including espresso drinks, juices, and smoothies. The owner is friendly, efficient, and genuinely cares about his customers. I had a 24oz. iced latte with caramel and it was $8.00 (including tax) and although that is on the pricey side, it's understandable since it's from a small business and really good. Bathrooms are tiny so your knees are almost hitting the wall but honestly, it's nice to find a bathroom in a shop in Boothbay. I love the upstairs area with the large windows overlooking the harbor and the wooden vibes with the rustic-looking lighting fixtures. A few different seating options with upstairs having couches and chairs area for lounging, a long table with metal chairs good for you and your friend to talk, or bringing your computer to get some work done. Then upstairs and downstairs are a few tables to sit down by yourself or in your group to converse with ease. It can get a little crowded in the main area when it's busy but it clears up quickly. Overall if you're looking for a good cup of coffee or a sweet smoothie in Boothbay, Brisetto's is the place to go! read more

My latte with oat milk was not good. Just tasted bad. Not sure if the oat milk they use is the culprit or not, but I almost couldn't finish it. Today was my first time visiting Boothbay with friends and it was our first time exploring this little town. Strolling around, we stumbled across this little gem. The rainbow flag, of course, caught my attention. Walking up, there were already friendly customers, sitting outside, who mentioned that we would not be disappointed by stopping in. So, we walked in and was greeted by a barista, who was also the owner, I later found out. I got myself a nice iced caramel latte, which was delicious, thanks to the recommendation of Florin (The owner) and my friend grabbed a beer and a soda. They also served wine as well. I grabbed a little map of the town, which came in very handy, and also a little card with the history of how Florin opened up this coffee shop. The story was amazing and also very inspiring! We walked up the steps to find a second level which had a great ambience and you could see the water and boats. We very much enjoyed this place and can't wait to come back! read more

The best coffee place in town! Every single espresso drink is made with freshly ground espresso, local fresh organic milk and the highest quality syrups. We went on a Sunday morning and got an iced mocha and an iced caramel latte and both were DELICIOUS. This was the creamiest, freshest espresso beverage I've ever had.
