Out of all of the aroma joes in the southern area (from Wells to Saco), this is my least favorite location to visit for a multitude of reasons. There have been so many times where I am trying to order and the cashier is having side conversations, the workers in the back are yelling (where I can't hear the cashier), or the food takes forever. This line definitely moves the slowest out of every location, but for no reason. The people working are definitely more interested in entertaining each other than doing their jobs. I also feel as though they are on the "cheaper" side. As in every little side packet costs extra and they put their bagels straight in the bag. Like why are they skimping on using the insulated bags? Every other location does this. Weird vibes here. Take a trip to Wells or Biddeford for a better experience. read more

Great lattes, tea, and breakfast sandwiches. Bathroom was very clean. Service was also good.

Whenever we need a caffeine fix but are getting sick of coffee, we head to Joe's to grab a Rush, or in my case am Italian Rush - half energy drink and half soda water with any combination of flavoring we can think of. Ive gone to this location multiple times and every time I have has the worst experience. #1 I had asked for my bagel that THEY forgot and then proceeded to slam the window in my face. #2 I was just there today and I forgot to ask for ketchup at the first window and i asked at the second window, I was then told "you have to pay for ketchup" said with an attitude. Then when I asked how much for each he says "they are 50 cents a packet" like at every other location i have been to I've gotten my ketchup for FREE, and it was the same guy who slammed the window in my face the first time and guess what he did it AGAIN. This place is open after 5 pm, unlike a lot of other places. It's a hip, cool place.

I'm surprised Aroma Joe's doesn't have a bunch of rave reviews. We loved the coffee (especially iced latte) and muffins, pretzels, cookie ice cream sandwiches in summer, and a variety of non dairy milk. I tried the lemonade with blueberries and it's a great warm weather drink, not too sweet. They give the pups biscuits, and everyone is really nice (good Mgmt). I was accidentally double charged for an order, sent an email, and it was taken off immediately. It saved us during quarantine as it was our only outing when nobody was going inside. I love that a local franchise has thrived, and if I'm in another town I seem to always spot an Aroma Joe's, from Biddeford to South Berwick. But the Kennebunk Drive Through is our place, and again, can't say enough about how much we love it! read more

Love this place and staff is always nice and attentive I choose this aromas over all the others around me even if I am coming from biddeford I go right past one there to this one every time just because I like the way I'm always treated my drinks are always spot on and Bella always helps me decide new flavors to try when I'm board with my normal watermelon rushes Plus I always get smiley faces on my lids haha read more

Aroma Shmos, or what we call it, is way better than dinky donut, no acid taste and better than Starshucks because you didn't have to wait in line. The whole experience is built for a drive through design, this is the one in town where you can have the option to walk into as well. Employees are about college age, very friendly and honest. My boyfriend drinks his coffee back and is on par with the Starbucks blonde roast but you don't have to wait 15 for them to make it. Food haven't tried but we don't eat breakfast food from places like this. I think the coffee is stronger than dunkins but not as strong as starbucks, which is a good medium. Overall we will be back for our morning coffees! read more

Like Tats, I would really like to give this place a great rating. . . but I can't. First, whoever designed the parking lot should be fired. There are very few parking places and most are reserved for employees. . . only three for customers. I drive a big pickup truck and the drive through is a challenge - not a big one, I suppose, but getting close to the order window and then getting close to the pick up window is probably a lot easier in a smart car. The staff are very nice. Always friendly and helpful. But as was stated, it doesn't really seem like they are very organized. On our last visit, the young lady taking the order had to go to the pickup side to find out if they had any coffee rolls left (they didn't). We've been there four times and each time it feels like the staff really needs training on the products. Speaking of the food. . . The sausage biscuit is very tasty. Twice, however, I got it literally falling apart. The biscuit was in pieces when they handed me the little bag it was in. . . it was like getting the sausage, egg, and the biscuit and you had to assemble it yourself - and make a sandwich out of 5 pieces of biscuit. Oh. . . and if you're like me and prefer salt and pepper on your egg, you better bring your own. They didn't have any packets to go with the food. On the one occasion that they had a coffee roll, it was great! The cinnamon rolls were a little stale - soft on the inside, but dry and a bit hard on the outside. The coffee and the latte were good. So. . . training, better food preparation, get some condiments, and, oh. . . by the way. How about paper bags for orders with multiple items? It's just a bit inconvenient to get handed each item separately. I know. . . I'm describing the way that Dunkin Donuts does things. . . But the food and coffee at Aroma Joe's seem to be pretty good! If they would get the rest of it right, perhaps we'd make a permanent change from Dunkin's. . . That won't be happening anytime soon, however, from what I can see. . . Tats complaints were posted about seven months ago and nothing seems to have improved. read more

The shop is clean and convenient, seemed popular with a drive thru. Minimal take and go options even though there were muffins on the menu there were none available at 9:00 am. The coffee was so bad we had to dump it and look fo another place to get our morning caffeine. read more

I really wanted to like this place. I have tried 3 times. It's really in my opinion in an awkward location. More so with how you enter the drive-thru than anything else. I felt like I was in an obstacle course. The young people that work there seem very nice, but what is lacking is organization. I drove up to the window, and nobody there. I had to honk my horn to get someone's attention. I ordered and was given my cinnamon bun, and drove up to the second window to get my coffee. I ordered house blend, but initially the person (which I had to wait on) tried to give me another/different order. Mind you, there was only 2 cars. The coffee was good but the cinnamon bun tasted like day old. There are plenty of other coffee places in Kennebunk. This place could be good, but right now it's not my go to..... read more
