We love Ms. Hanna's!!! My son attended her daycare for about a year and half! From when he was about a year and a half old to just over 3 years old. The only reason we are not there anymore is because we have another baby on the way and I will be a full time stay at home mom again. Ms. Hanna plans so many fun activities for the kiddos. Not only does she teach them letters, numbers, colors etc... Ms. Hanna is also amazing at teaching them how to share with one another, respect each other and help regulate their emotions. Oh and cheer each other on when they are doing a good job! Ms Hanna also loves to go all out for holidays which is so cute and fun for the kids. She decorates and usually makes special gift bags or has some sort of special holiday activity planned! Her home daycare is the perfect mix of pre-school meets home daycare. Small group of kids which makes it really special. They get to connect with her as their teacher and the other kids as well, while also getting some learning in! Highly recommend.! read more

I cannot say enough about Hanna's daycare. My son lost his preschool in the Eaton fire and we were recommended to come here by a friend. Hanna is amazing. She worked with our situation and was able to accommodate us. My son was there for a short time but loved it. He said to me, "I wanna go see Hanna! I'm so happy at school!" Nothing more could have put my heart at ease. His day was structured with play and learning. He napped on day one and everyday since! Hanna is a Very Professional young woman. The kids scream for Hanna when I pick them up. We love this daycare. Hanna really has a way with the kids and I don't need to look anywhere else anymore for quality care. We love Hannah so much. My child started going twice a week when she was 3.5 and we absolutely appreciated the whole experience so much. We had just moved to the area and trying to get adjusted. So finding such a nice, clean, and homie day care was exactly what we needed. The combo of in door and out door experiences along with the activities were perfect. There is a nice flexible routine that definitely fit our lifestyle and social experience we were looking for our little one. We stayed with Hannah a whole year and then some until it was time to try TK. The price was so accommodating and my child only came home saying nice things with a positive attitude. Hanna's daycare is a warm space for kids to build a sense of community and friendship with others. Our son attended from the age of 1.5 to 2.5. He greatly developed his social skills in that time with his peer group, who ranged from 1-4 years old. Hanna's house is spacious and well-lit, creating a great environment for children to play. She is very dedicated to her business, working from 8am - 5pm. While other daycares take whole weeks off, she only closes for major state/federal holidays. She is very communicative and sends photos throughout the day to update parents of their child's progress as well as share glimpses of their activities and social life at the daycare. Outside of daycare activities, Hanna also organizes additional events, like going to the Altadena Famers Market. This is a great chance for parents to meet each other and for past families to continue to be a part of the community - which we plan on doing. read more

Our son was with Ms. Hanna for over two years before he transitioned to another program with older children. We were so happy with our time there and our son and her formed a very special bond--a lot of times he did not want to leave school at the end of the day. She really supported his development and provided a welcoming and approachable stance on professional child care. The school was always clean and there was a wonderful backyard for the children to play in. During the summer, Ms. Hanna provided fun water activities for the children. We had our 1 year old son join Hanna's Daycare for some drop ins and he loved it! The daycare is in such a lovely and inviting home on a quiet street. I think it's great how she uses the whole house and backyard for the kids. So spacious. Hanna is wonderful and she has a lot of fun learning activities for the kids of different ages. We are extremely happy with Miss Hanna's daycare, our little one started there when she was 18 months old, she got very close attention. Miss Hanna was very accommodating. We received regular texts and pictures. Miss Hanna is very soft spoken, calm and well experienced. With in short time our baby was able to take afternoon naps there, which was a big achievement. She had so much fun everyday, she would run back in to play with her friends when we went to pick her up. We kept her at Miss Hanna daycare for at least six months, she enjoyed her time and loved dance, music, backyard play time, outdoor trips, fun snacks, stories and learning there. We saw significant positive changes. We moved her out with heavy heart only because she got accepted in a preschool program, where she was on a waitlist for more than a year. We had just moved from the Bay Area and were looking for childcare for our 2 yr old son who had been with a nanny up until then. Ms. Hanna's was the perfect transition. Through all the different changes we had that year, Ms. Hanna welcomed them all -- she worked with us on our son's emotional well-being and made him feel safe and comfortable enough to even take naps--which was a tough one! Haha. Our son was always SO excited to go to his little "school" and he always came home with stories to tell about all the adventures he had with his friends. We were there for a year, as we got off a year-long waitlist for a spanish immersion preschool-- but I will say, we miss Ms. Hanna's every day. And my son is always asking about when he can go back. Our daughter went to Hanna's Daycare and absolutely loved it! Hanna and her helpers are incredibly loving and caring and my daughter felt so at home there. We have had a fantastic experience bringing our son here. He was so little when he started and we were really concerned about finding a place that would be flexible and attentive to his tiny person needs, have lots of fun learning and sensory activities, and also keep him safe. Ms. Hanna'a Daycare was exactly what we were looking for! The property is a beautiful cottagecore home in a gorgeous safe neighborhood. Ms. Hanna and staff are gentle and so caring with the kids, but also provide structure and are really focused on giving them learning opportunities through music, movement activities, and sensory play.
