I had to call the office three times to get answers to my questions. The first call went to a full voicemail, so you can't leave a message. The second call went through, and she quickly put me on hold for 10 minutes. While I understand that the office can get busy, if you're going to make someone wait on the phone for more than 5 minutes, shouldn't you let them know? I ended up making the third call on my mother's phone to see if I could get through to the office while my phone call was on hold. Jackie picked up the phone within seconds, and finally, I was able to ask my questions. But I'm honestly left dissatisfied. My mother has called this cemetery before and told me that the receptionist is a little rude, but she thought that maybe it was because English is not her first language. However, I grew up in America, so I don't think my communication was an issue, but I think that's just who Jackie is as a person. I honestly wonder how long I would have been on hold for if that third call from my mother's phone didn't go through. I couldn't ask other questions because my whole interaction felt incredibly rushed, and it's upsetting because this is our first time setting up a grave for our loved one. Please be kinder.
