Hours after agreeing to the price and securing our date, he called back claiming his "partner" said they couldn't do a "wedding" for that price, raising it by several hundred dollars with no other explanation or change in my basic plan. Nickel-and-Diming: Rob initially pitched add-ons like a chocolate fountain and a coffee bar - I loved both ideas until it turned out they'd cost more than my caterer charged for our whole dinner service. In hindsight, I have no idea where he would have even put these in the space we were given. He also wanted to charge $150 to set out 10 centerpieces, $150 for servers, and extra fees for tables he wasn't even sure if he had. I declined and found help with these things elsewhere. Lost Payments (DO NOT PAY CASH): I dropped off my 50% deposit check on June 25 (cleared July 1). Rob confirmed by text that he had received it. On Aug 10, Rob texted (in the same text thread) asking if I had ever paid a deposit or sent the contract. I had to text him a photo of the cleared check because he also forgot the amount. Ignored Messages & Sarcasm: A week before the wedding, Rob read my FB message and texts across two days with zero response. I had to ask my DJ to nudge him (they're friends). When Rob finally called back, he was sarcastic and hid behind being "off." A simple "I'm off, I'll call Friday" would have sufficed. Music Caps: Rob wasn't sure he could accommodate my request to play some Greek music for my family between dinner and the DJ starting, claiming it "impeded normal operations." When he finally agreed, he capped it to 15 minutes. If you've ever been to Seven Sirens on a Saturday evening, you know there's never much going on before 8pm; not sure why this was even an issue when I was renting out the space and providing a normal DJ & karaoke for the remainder of everyone's entertainment. Dirty Venue: When I arrived to decorate a couple hours before the reception, the tables and seats were dirty. I had to wipe them down myself (in my wedding hair & makeup) and remove a messy extension cord left across the booths where my guests would be eating. They also failed to set up our 4 catering tables. The poor single bartender on duty was completely uninformed and had to haul heavy tables out by herself. Mid-Reception Interruptions: The first time I ever met Rob was while I was trying to enjoy dinner with my guests. He interrupted to say I could play my Greek music after all because--exactly as I'd predicted--there were no outside patrons there anyway. By then, dealing with music logistics wasn't something I wanted to manage mid-reception, and so I said 'forget it.' He also asked how I was going to pay the remaining balance, and I had to inform him that his bar manager already received my check the night before. The Bright Spots: Bar Staff: The bar manager, Sam, and the bartenders were fantastic and kept the many tabs for all our guests very well-managed. We're still trying to figure out how one couple ended up with a $400 tab for only two of them, but we think they stuck to their signage that you'll buy the bar a round if you don't close your tab before you leave (they returned to retrieve their forgotten credit card the next day). DJ Dave Waldron: Their preferred DJ was amazing and made our party a fantastic time. Bottom Line: Management misplaces financial records, leaves the space dirty, dumps setup on single bar staff, and nickel-and-dimes clients. I have screenshots and photos to back up my statements if management wants to try and dispute this review. Look elsewhere in the Lehigh Valley if you want a stress-free event that you don't have to micromanage.

Went there for a wedding anniversary party. We ordered off a set menu which had prime rib. Waitress was rude and explained we were not allowed to chose a temperature for our steak as they were all prepared medium. Some were bloody and some were well done and the flavor was horrible. Tried to complain and ask to speak with the owner which the waitress told us was not around. Couple of us went to the bar after diner only to find out the owner was sitting there drunk and speaking racial slurs towards a political show on TV with the bartender who also ignored us. I initially called to make a 6:30 reservation, but the call was disconnected three times while I was speaking with the manager, Rachel. On the third call, she explained that they were having phone problems. We decided to go anyway, and fortunately, they were able to seat us immediately. The **truffle cream-filled gnocchi was excellent**--easily the highlight of the evening and genuinely something I would return to order again. Unfortunately, nearly everything else fell short. My burger arrived only slightly warm. It was thin, dry, and underwhelming for an $18 burger. I was also charged an additional $3 simply to have the jalapeño jam served on the side, which seemed unreasonable. The fries were heavily saturated with oil and lacked crispness, while the pickle was dry and appeared to have been sitting out for some time. My wife ordered the U-MAC salad, which the menu describes as mixed greens, but it appeared to consist primarily of spinach. The greens were somewhat wilted, and the salad itself was very dry. We asked for a small amount of feta to liven up the sad salad- something they made sure to charge $3 for. My Blue Moon was also served without an orange. That may be a relatively small detail, but at a tavern, basic drink presentation still matters. The service was adequate and generally timely, although the staff seemed tired and overextended rather than engaged with the customers. The restaurant had been refreshed, but some of the finishing work--including uneven paint lines and writing still visible on the tables--made the space feel unfinished rather than newly renovated. The most concerning part of the evening was the conduct of the general manager. Rachel sat at the bar, working on a computer and loudly discussing the restaurant's finances with another person. The conversation included several uses of the F-word and could clearly be heard by customers seated nearby. Conducting a loud, profanity-filled business conversation in the dining area was extremely unprofessional and not something patrons should have to listen to during dinner. There is potential here, and the gnocchi proves that the kitchen is capable of producing something memorable. However, the food consistency, attention to detail, atmosphere, and management professionalism all need significant improvement. I may return for the gnocchi, but based on this visit, I would have difficulty recommending the restaurant overall.

The pan sear deck duck breast was not cooked to perfection either. In between each course, we had to keep asking for silverware because they served us food with no silverware. You should never have to ask in a restaurant of this magnitude to be given silverware with your meal. When we got there, I had brought in a cake for dessert and the guy at the hostess stand said let me take that for you and bring it to the table. I said no it's a surprise. When it came time for dessert, the waitress came over and brought menus for dessert and I clearly said to her we have a cake in the back and she said oh I didn't realize it was for you. I personally owned a fine dining restaurant and to say this experience was subpar is an understatement. The other part that really upset me was when my friend had to send her steak back we were all completely finished eating by the time her meal came out to me. This was a disaster.

Server was nice and professional. Unfortunately the Beef Baron ran out of beef! No ribeye steaks were left. Evidently there was a run on them earlier in the evening. Imagine that?! We ended up with alternative meals. My mom with fish and me a bunless burger. Food was decent but I'd had my heart set on steak, honestly. 3 stars because they fell down on not having steak inventory in their beef restaurant.

The staff was friendly and right on top of drink orders. I thought our group ordered a lot of food, too, but that came out quickly as well. My favorite thing to order previously at Stahley's was the corn nugget appetizer, and I'm happy to say that whatever changes occurred behind the scenes, the corn nuggets are still 100% perfect. They have a nice beer selection, a bunch of items on tap. I think I had four Miller Lites, a Dox Equis, and a PBR. I like the game area too, with the pool table, juke box, and that weird ring-on-a-string game that I can never manage. Stahley's is a fun place, with a cool small-town restaurant/bar atmosphere.

The clams are still good and our new waitress did a solid job -- that's the only reason they're getting one star. The Broiled Seafood Dinner was basically rubber on a plate. Completely flavorless. My friend ordered the Black Gold Steak medium, and it came out nearly raw. Sent it back, and it returned burned to a crisp -- well‑well done and tasting like it came off a dirty grill. If this is the direction under the new ownership, I don't see them lasting long without major changes.
