Tuesdays are crazy busy with their Trivia night, but we were seated away from most of that. We could overhear that the questions were really hard too! It's a well maintained bar/restaurant with a bar area, high tops, dining at tables in two smaller rooms further back and outdoor seating as well. The service was friendly and she did check in with us several times. We both orders the pot stickers ~ they were deep fried which surprised me, but the texture was different and delicious. My friend had the French onion soup, which she has tried here before and loves. I chose the spicy shrimp quesadilla, which I have also had here before and absolutely love. Came here the other day because we were in the area for other reasons. Great spot. Service was friendly and fast. Food was great. I loved the garlic cheese curds. I was so excited to have found this place! It was near by, fun and the food was GREAT the first time. Second time, burger was cooked wrong but HEY, it is what it is and I don't like to complain. We are HUMAN! Now - here's the reason I am writing this review, and my first negative one to boot. I went to the tavern today and ordered wings and some other food (jalapeño poppers, and a salad). The first time I went with my family, my boyfriend got wings and they were GREAT! So I was excited. Well, this time, the wings were NOT fried properly. I tested two wings (didn't fully eat them, picked apart) and there was blood inside, and the texture and consistency was of just barely being cooked. Possible food poisoning. I was not comfortable eating them. When I was explaining to the server, she said "do you just not want them or?". To stay unproblematic, I said no, I don't. Time for the bill! I asked why the dozen wings were on there when I didn't not eat a dozen wings. The server stated "the manager said I can't take them off, let me go get her for you". So, the manager comes over and quite frankly she looked like she was ready to pick a fight. When the manager came over, the first issue is she didn't say hi, or even give her name or try to be polite. She brought the wings in a take out container basically stating that I would be taking them with me. If that was the case why did I sit without a meal the whole evening? Why did she not communicate this earlier, or the server. I figured the issue was solved when the server took my plate originally. I stated I was not taking undercooked wings and that I saw blood in the chicken wings. The manager stated they would be refried and assured me they were already cooked properly. I'm not argumentative, so I agreed. I have had many wings before and have been severed not properly cooked wings before, and had them corrected with no issues when there were concerns. After this conversation, I learned from the server that the manager is also the owner, Lori. After learning this, I made the decision to inform my friends and family to NOT dine here. Reason being, if they mess up an order they do not correct it properly and you STILL have to pay for it. How does that work? The "manager" glossed over my concerns and didn't not listen to the fact that there was still blood in my chicken and the consistency was of barely cooked?????? (I would have paid for the two wings I picked apart, no problem). I was so excited to start utilizing this place, my son loved it! It's truly unfortunate that we will not be going back since it was such a great first impression. Now, all I have is burnt wings and a disappointing review. A North Jersey girl, I hate to say it's been tough finding food out here in Pennsylvania...... Came to 110 on the suggestion of others... though I felt as if I was looking at just another bar menu, EVERYTHING tried in the past 3 visits, have been.... Top notch, including nachos (tortillas, fresh fried) topped with shredded pork, sour cream, scallions black beans to perfection! The pulled pork sandwich, I diced my own pickle to top... extra barbecue on the side, the burger charbroil to perfection, wasn't expecting to find this diamond in the rough! I just read Nicole A.'s review and unfortunately I had the exact same experience. I went there a couple of weeks ago....like Wednesday/Thursday evening.... noticed the outside had ample seating. I go in, ask the bartender if I could go outside and she responded with, "sure". I'm outside and there's a group of four on the patio with me....I'm there for a total of 30 minutes.....the group of four people got visited by their server twice during the time I'm waiting..... We stopped in while strolling through town to visit family who was hiking through. She needed some fuel and this was an open spot in the area. The food was very average, and about what I expected. I got wings and fries, and hoped that the wings had more of the old bay flavor. Overall not bad, just not as rich as I was looking for. I had a salad, not only did it take 40 minutes for me to just get my salad but it took just about the same amount of time to get our sides. After going to Joey B's tonight and finding out there was an hour wait for a table we decided to go to the One Ten Tavern instead. I ordered the grilled salmon which was absolutely disgusting and offensive...The salmon was no larger than the palm of my had and it was dry and gross. The asparagus looked anemic and the tasted like it was soaked in lemon for hours....not sure why you would prepare asparagus in lemon....YUCK! The only good thing about my meal was the salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing...and that is not saying much when I just paid over 18.00 for my meal. I ordered vodka with a splash of cranberry juice and when the waitress brought me my drink she asked me is this how you wanted your vodka...she made it sound like I was ordering a drink that was unusual...SERIOUSLY?! The service was bad and it took forever and a day to order our meal and to have it prepared and served. This place is a disgrace and needs a lot of help....Stay away!!!! I've been to 110 a few times for a burger and a beer and it was decent but I stopped by for lunch last Saturday and it was the worst meal I had in a very long time. After spending over an hour there and wasting $50, (no alcohol purchased) I left there feeling extremely ripped off. I did not complain at first because it's not my style and I cut people some slack because we all have bad days but the more I thought about it, the more negative I felt about the experience. My girlfriend, her daughter and I grabbed a table and ordered lunch. We started off with the pierogi appetizer which was good and turned out to be the highlight of the meal. I ordered the chicken caesar panini and the ladies ordered pizzas, (a barbecue chicken and a kids cheese) and some fries. None of them were good. The presentation, the flavor, not good. Don't even bother!! Third time we have tried eating here and you can't get service at all. I feel bad for the wait staff. Tonight we were told to choose our seat, inside or out. The waitress brought drinks out to the one other table outside but didn't acknowledge us at all... we didn't even get menus (and she was the one who told us to choose our seat). I finally went inside to get menus myself (seen but clearly not important enough to ask if I needed anything). Let me start out with one thing. The food was AMAZING!!! I got the taco and my boyfriend got the roast beef sandwich. The chips were delicious as were the side greens (a little limp, but I blame the warm plate) So with that out of the way... food fantastic. Nothing to worry about. Here come my complaints... - Our waitress took a very long time to come to our table and greet us. Asked for ID's before I even ordered a drink, then took the Id's to look at them under a light. (I understand its their job, but what if I wanted a soda? would she card me then?) - Never asked if we wanted an appetizer - 5 minutes later our drinks appeared. There were 4 people at the bar, 3 servers on. We sat at a high top table in the bar room. No reason for a draft beer and one bottled beer to take so long. Our waitress dropped off the drinks and then started walking away... we told her we are ready to order. She seemed shocked. Took our order and walked away. While sitting there waiting for our food we noticed how HOT the room was (it was 93 degrees on June 17th), they had 2 air conditioners on and the ceiling fans as well. But the room was uncomfortably warm. I looked around at all the guests and everyone had a sheen of sweat on their foreheads, or were fanning themselves off. If its that hot in your place, turn on more air conditioners. Or invest in buying more. It was uncomfortable. Our food came out at a reasonable time, like I said the FOOD WAS AMAZING. - The waitress never ever came to check on us. She only came over to clear our plates. I asked for our check and water. She brought both over... and checked on us two more times to see if our check was ready. Which was rude. She paid more attention to people out on the deck then us. We were nice to her. So that being said, will I return? Yes... only in winter. It is way to hot to be sitting in a warm restaurant. Things were just uncomfortable. If you sit in on the high top in the bar, look up. Between their Smoked Salmon BLT (my personal fav) and the classic Tavern Pie, the different items on this menu make you forget that you're in Palmerton. Good place for a quick casual bite to eat after a round of golf nearby. Beer is cold, and menu is fairly vast. Ribeye steak sandwich was good. It didn't knock my socks off, but for Palmerton, I was satisfied. Pizza appears to be made in house to an extent and was very good. Staff was friendly and genuine.
