My experience having all four wisdom teeth extracted at Dental Care Center of Hollywood was outstanding. From my first interaction with Jeaninne to the expert care of Dr. Sperling, and the support of the staff I encountered (Alisa, Priscila, Ana), everyone was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The procedure was so smooth, both Jeaninne and Dr. Sperling took the time to answer my questions thoroughly, understood my preferences for anesthetics/sedation, and kindly guided me through the process. Dr. Sperling is a wizard of an oral surgeon, just so impressed and thankful that I chose this Dental Center! The experience couldn't have been worst. Not just that he charges way too much money for an absolute travesty of a job, he uses materials that are not adequate. He and his staff are rude and not helpful at all. If he does a bad job (which he odds say he will!), he will not make himself responsable for it. NOT RECOMMENDED! Really not a caring or gentle Dentist. Arrogant and sarcastic don't waste your time. He won't want you as a patient if you are a risk of having an emergency in the future. Would you really want someone like that to treat you... Reply to the "correction" add lier to your list of attributes as well. Having aligners and being treated by a dentist are different. I told you I was just about done with my aligners which are from "Byte". Look it up and educate yourself before you insult others. You insulted me by saying I'm treat myself by using an online company for teeth straightening and you should be ashamed of yourself for not only insulting me but replying with a lie. I'm a mother who put a lot of money into my kids having braces, and yes I went a different route for my self because I put my kids first. You didn't want me as a patient because I didn't get aligners form a dentist in person. You also told me that's not popular. I should not be turned away from a doctor because of aligners. Who is it that's treating me and why would i waste my time going to your office? Trust and believe that I thank you for showing me your true colors. I would never want to be your patient. Aligners that are from online dentists to straighten teeth that are an alternative to traditional braces are more popular than you think. I should have been treated with so much more respect. I was appalled by the unprofessional treatment I received at this office when I was refused service unexpectedly and without proper notice, even after being a patient for several years. I had an appointment to clean my teeth in November 2021, but it was cancelled due to the hygienist's absence since her son was sick, which I understood. The following appointment that was available was for 3 months later in February 2022, which meant I would have to go without a cleaning for a total of 6 months. The day before my appointment, I was called and asked why I was a No-Show, and I was shocked because my appointment was for the following day. The scheduler, Alissa, who called me, knows that due to my work schedule, I can only go and have only ever gone on Wednesdays, yet she was calling me on a Tuesday. I told her that she knew for a fact I could not go in on Tuesday because she was the one who always scheduled me, and therefore, when she wrote the appointment in the schedule, she must have made a mistake and written it in for a Tuesday when it was meant to be for a Wednesday. She got unnecessarily defensive and outright refused to acknowledge her error - not that I was trying to point fingers. I was just disappointed that I would have to wait even longer for a cleaning because I accumulate a lot of tartar and must have cleanings every 3 months. I wondered when would I finally have my teeth cleaned? Apparently, according to Dr. Sperling, in the "morning huddle" that they conduct every morning to discuss the patients who are going in for treatment, it was decided that I would be refused service at the last minute. Rather than calling me to tell me not to bother going in, I was made to go out of my way and visit the office only for Dr. Sperling to deliver the message face-to-face. Awkwardly, it was an utter waste of my time not to mention a lack of consideration toward my person. I asked the doctor if I could at least see the hygienist one last time, especially since I had an appointment at 9:30 am, which was even confirmed the previous day. He denied me. I still have not been able to schedule a cleaning for the near future, and I am on a wait list in two other dentists' offices. In summary, if Dr. Sperling really had had my welfare in mind, he would have at least agreed that that would be my last visit to give me time to look for a new hygienist. Look elsewhere. Over priced Scammers! Come in for one thing they try to sell you other things. Went in for a gum infection and they would not give be antibiotics for it. Instead they tried to sell me $3200 worth of dental work none of which had to do with my infection. Went to a different dentist the next day and was given antibiotics and the infections was gone in a day. Now my new dentist is doing all the same dental work I was being over charged for $1400. That is $1800 savings, plus my new dentist is much friendlier than Dr. Hans Sperling. I would also like to add that I contacted there office manger to try to rectify this and they could care less of my issue. Said it was "Stranded Practice" STAY AWAY! OVERPRICED! This Dr. Is a joke, DON'T let him touch you. Did work with him many years ago and now I am having serious problems on work he did. Fact is that both serious procedures he did are now having to be redone by a specialist and the specialist has shown me the errors that were originally done, because I have all my xrays from all work ever done. Most people don't realize that the xrays are actually yours, you pay for them, the doctors just are custodians of them for you. Well to say that this dentist is shoddy and shady is a huge under statement, I am now having to redue all previous work done by this clown and the $$$$ is astronomically now because it needs to be undone and then redone again. DON' T USE THIS DENTIST !!!!! you will regret it eventually, it will cost you mega $$$$ in the end. mark my words... Finally a dentist in South Florida that doesn't lie about cavities! Shocking. Most dentist lie about having cavities and when you go someplace else... no cavities. This is a great dentist! I drive 20 miles out of my way to go there. Tho he's getting heaps out of my pocket for deep cleanings. But their services that I need to have done so I don't mind so much. read more

Dr Sperling has been nothing short of awesome, and his staff includes the sweetest and friendliest women of FL. I won't lie ,at first I felt a little nervous and intimidated by Dr Sperling's demeanor ( seemed standoffish ), only to realize he is very nice and even has a dry sense of humor (the kind I like lol). Oh and his wife ( who is his right hand at the office) has the most welcoming personality,which is needed especially with those like me who used to fear the Dentist.All in all ,he and his staff do amazing work and you'll feel like you're doing your teeth right at home !! Honestly, The doctor was very nice and the office staff as well. However, I had a root canal done, then 4 more root canals done on the same tooth and it still bothers me until today. I do not recommend this office. The overall office was very good. However, I paid a lot $ after insurance coverage and the tooth feels the same as it did with my initial treatment. read more

I came to Dr. Sperling for a second opinion after a thoroughly bad experience with another dentist. Dr. Sperling's staff was wonderful, they got me in the next day. The office looked great. Only had to wait a few minutes to be seen. The doctor was very personable and friendly. After showing him an a plan of action from first dentist which was going to to cost $2000 (including deep cleaning and 3 cavities), he told me that all i needed was a simple cleaning. His honesty and quick service were wonderful. I am going back today for the cleaning. I recommend Highly Dr. Sperling. You will not be disappointed. read more

I write this review in the hopes that I can save someone else from suffering the same experience with the worst dentist visit I have ever had in my lifetime. Perhaps it may even inspire this individual to rethink his priorities. This dentist's wife handles the financial consultations; she had a screaming baby in the room trying to consult me while the parent of the child was having dental work done. She fuddled incompetently with the financial numbers like a grandmother trying to figure out her taxes (she even got which of my teeth that needed work on wrong), and another patient came in saying her crown had fallen out that this dentist had put in. Everyone else on his staff did not give off the impression to me that they were happy working there. This was my first visit, mind you. I did not disagree with what his diagnosis was, I was simply horrified at the reaction I received when I expressed my interest in digesting his proposal, considering other options, researching online or perhaps getting a second opinion. They balked at my response, refused to provide options and did not even allow me to take the time to decide whether I wanted to pay them a thousand dollars out of my pocket above and beyond what my insurance took care of. It was literally right there and then they were saying I HAD to make a decision. Their "take it or leave it" stance left me so dumbfounded I was practically in disbelief as to what my ears were hearing. They were utterly disingenuous. Dr. Sperling asked me to return to his office in front of all of his patients as I was leaving and visibly disturbed (I was in the lobby getting a release form for my X-rays to give to another dentist). He explained that his 'services' are similar to when a doctor writes a prescription and that you [as a patient] do not have the option to decide what kind of prescription is given to you. So basically, what he says goes. He was insolent to me as he spoke and did not look at me when I responded, as if he was thinking of the next thing he was going to say after I was done talking. He didn't offer me any inclination that he cared about any of my concerns. Furthermore, he had the brass to tell me that he was insulted when I specifically described the undesired behavior and incompetent actions of his financial consultant by saying, "That's my wife". As if that was supposed to make any difference in an individual's performance with their responsibilities. I left with a clear impression provided by them that the primary objective of this office is to squeeze the most money out of their patient's insurance policies and pocketbooks without providing their patients with any other options other than the procedure they propose. It's not that I couldn't afford to pay them, and was actually ready to pay up front and in full to receive their discount incentive for doing so. It was the derogatory response I received when I began to ask questions about their diagnosis. A few days after I left their office shell-shocked I received a letter from this dentist saying that unfortunately there are times when a doctor/patient 'fit' is not right and that they were not able to provide me with their services at this time. Wow, just...wow. It convinced me that this man believes that everyone around him is oblivious to how he truly conducts himself and his office operations. He may be excellent at what he does in the dentist's chair for all I know, but I for one will not allow him to never again have the opportunity to come near my mouth, as he clearly violated a golden rule for me.....TRUST. After reading this, you have an option. If you want to go to a dental provider who tells you in a nonchalant and roundabout way, "my way, or the highway", are willing to pay any amount of money they propose, AND you are willing to take their word for it without any hesitation or doubt that their services, recommendations, and diagnoses are indeed what you truly need to have done to you, this is your dentist. If you do NOT agree that this behavior is indicative of what you expect out of someone you are willing to entrust with your body and hard earned money.... then run away and do not look back. read more

Nice office, experienced, but out for money. They refused to give me my free annual Medicare cleaning, insisting that it wasn't any good and that I pay big bucks for their super cleaning. Even when I told them I was on a fixed budget they refused to give me what Medicare says should. Avoid them. read more

Impressive to say the least! After reading such great reviews about dental Care Center of Hollywood I decided to make an appointment. I came to the office for a consult approximately one week ago after visiting 2 previous dental offices for consultations. The two offices either charged excessively for services or recommended unnecessary services. My initial visit at Dental Care Center was a success. The moment I walked into the office the staff was very poised and professional and greeted me with a warm smile. The office waiting room was clean and comforting, and the treatment room was private and immaculate. Dr Sperling was very concerned about my concerns. He examined my gums thoroughly. I was very pleased with his recommendations and excited to begin my treatments which will include cleanings, a few fillings, braces, and implants. They even accepted my insurance!
