They failed We recently had an unfortunate experience with Hanford Sand & Gravel, even though our interaction was indirect--through our contractor. Despite not being their direct customer, we were pulled into a payment issue due to their failure to collect payment from their actual customer before delivery. They later claimed the order was COD, but that was never communicated ahead of time, and no payment was requested at the time of delivery. Instead of resolving the issue directly with their customer, they sent us, a third party, threatening notices about filing a Mechanic's Lien. This approach was not only unprofessional but completely avoidable had the company handled their internal processes properly. It caused unnecessary stress for people uninvolved in the transaction. We hope Hanford Sand & Gravel improves their communication and payment procedures moving forward.

Charles Yocum arrived right on time at 12:30 pm and finished by 3:00 pm. Jenn on the phone and Charles in person were both friendly, professional, and very competent. The price was competitive and on the low side, with no surprise costs, and it included hauling away the old unit. Charles upgraded all the plumbing with quality components and brought everything up to full code. He also gave me great, no‑pressure advice on maintenance, the pros and cons of different anode options, how to change them, and even explained the newer electric anode that never needs replacing and can help the heater last virtually indefinitely.
