My 1967 Sunbeam Tiger suffered some sort of electrical failure on my way home from the British Car Show at Gilmore Museum. The car is insured with Hagerty Classic Car insurance. Within a relatively short time Chris Hansen drove up and did a fantastic job getting the car on the trailer and safely home. As the owner attacked me in response to my previous legitimate critical review, and demonstrated the EXACT poor customer service I complained about therein, I will reply here. What this business appeared to do with the call from my insurance company was accept more than one tow call simultaneously, but communicated to my insurance company's service that they were on their way to me in just a few minutes. My friend drove out of her way from work to sit with me because of the neighborhood I broke down in and to offer me a ride home once my vehicle was towed, based on the timeline they provided, and the tracking link that showed them arriving shortly. She has a 12 year old, senior dog that needed to be let out. The difference between 20 minutes and 90, as well as daytime and dark in that area was significant. The owner's cavalier & misogynistic perspective, as well as attitudes are terrifying to me. He also demonstrated his intelligence level by attacking me, rather than indicating any lesson learned from this genuinely bad experience as a customer - much less being accountable or offering any genuine concern. My reviews are honest. I am not Midwest. Nice. I am New York authentic. If I am impressed, I share that. If I am treated poorly or received very poor service, I let others know after offering management feedback privately. Mistakes happen. Attitudes & behaviors indicate values. My authenticity and integrity remain intact, regardless of the owners's inability to be accountable for poor service and apparent practice of hogging calls, without regard to the affect on others. To the owner - You sir, are disrespectful to your customers. The way you spoke to me on the phone as well as finding out what actually happened, is why I wrote a bad review. They showed great professionalism, kindness and above all great awesome customer service! I highly advise anyone who is in a situation where they need to have a tow truck please! Please!
