Jim, the person that does estimates at Burton Heights Auto Body will promise to do things and then…read morenot follow through. I had an insurance claim that needed attention. Jim gave me an estimate a few months ago for additional minor repairs along with a complete paint job. When it came time to do the work, Jim then increased the price dramatically. He then promised to raise the vehicle on a lift when it was in the shop to give me a more accurate estimate. That new estimate never happened as Jim said parts were not available. I checked online as soon as I returned home and found several sources for parts. I also asked for an alignment while my vehicle was in the shop. Jim told me that someone crawled underneath the car and said it did not need an alignment. That is not how you check alignment. Really, If the vehicle pulls to the left or right then it is alignment related. The vehicle was never raised on a hoist nor put on an alignment rack. I let Burton Heights Auto Body repair my vehicle and was not satisfied with the service, nor the deceit and unkept promises. I have referred many people to this establishment in the past making the company many thousands of dollars. That does not include the thousands that I have spent. Yet, when I had to go through the process all Jim cared about was the insurance check and not making the customer happy by meeting the requirements and promises that he made to me. Deceit is not good business... NO MORE REFFERALS!

My car was making a weird noise and my landlord recommended Heritage Service Centre. Mike made time to squeeze me in and check out my car right away! He took a look around in my car and reassured me that everything was looking okay. He even taught my roommate and I how to check our oil! I ended up calling Mike back because my mom was still worried about my car and he was so kind and patient with me. He reassured me again that everything would be okay and even offered to have me stop by again so he could top off my coolant since it was a little low. As a young girl who doesn't know much about cars it's always scary going to a mechanic. I've been scammed before, so I'm always nervous when going to a new place.
