I went to pick it up 7 July, (two weeks later) this included remaining paperwork as well as a walk around. Pick up was delayed almost 2 hours and then I was called back to service area. I was informed the bike rack that had been purchased (through the dealer ) could not be installed due to spare tire. You would think 1. That this should have already been addressed. 2. That they should have refunded the cost. No to both they simply stated it was my problem. I was again called back as my truck was too big for the standard hitch? ( Dodge 2500 diesel 4x4) I was informed that I needed to purchase the bigger receiver. Again I stated 1. That the dealer was well aware of the truck. 2. That I stated upon purchase,the hitch is 2 1/4 size so I wanted that size receiver not a 2 inch with a sleeve. After no help from dealer, seemed since it was now almost 6pm they where more interested in leaving than to make things right. We left with camper and went to nearby camp ground to check everything out. Issues: Remember dealer had hooked up and supposedly checked 1.Tires on camper where low so camper swayed while driving. ( should have been checked before leaving) 2. Trailer plug would come unplugged on hard left turns.( wire wrapped around gas tanks in front making line too short) 3. Trailer brake and right turn signal no always working. I made pig tail to add to line until I could get it back to dealer. (Was told by dealer bad ground in truck) I fixed loose connection on trailer 4. Gas tanks empty after being told by dealer they had just been filled. 5. Wife started cleaning dirty hand prints off walls and ceilings ( dealer was supposed to have cleaned??) when she noticed what she thought was a gob of grease on bathroom door. She went to clean and found it to be repair putty that had been put on door to hide gouge.( still waiting to get fixed) 6. Canopy lights not working ( found out dealer knew before delivery just decided not to fix) 7. Mounting bracket on drawers not secured ( dealer finally fixed) 8. Cap on bumper missing ( I purchased one) 9. Trim along seating buckled up when slide out was in. ( dealer fixed? As best we can) July 12: was told to bring it in as the parts where in,so they could fix. I informed them I would but needed back by the July 24th or needed a loaner. Picked up the 24th and was informed that not everything had been fixed as they where waiting on parts? To date: more things still going wrong still waiting for things to get fixed and being given a big run around!!!!!

Friday of that week she called and said they could not get into the camper and they needed the key!!!!!! So i took time off work and rescheduled my jobs that had to be done and drove from Traverse city to Grand Rapids that Friday to give them the keys. I went to the camper and entered the code and the door opened. So the camper sat there for another week and by that time the warranty was off. There service department is the worst They replaced the axles and leaf springs under lippert warranty and used different sized shackle links so the axle was off by 1/2 inch. And never adjusted the Brakes on the new axles so the truck had to stop the weight of the camper. Wrecked the rotors on our truck that had 14,000 miles on it. Do not buy from them !!!!!!!

We backed out of the deal, but they won't refund our deposit even though they told us upfront that "since we hadn't seen the unit, it would be refunded". My wife had been dealing with Andrew and Jordan online with asking questions and getting the financing taken care of before going. Once we arrived, we met Andrew and Jordan who got us started with Duane in the camp store and then Rick who did the walk around of our new to us Coachman Clipper 108st. The guys in the service department did the walk around and then set up the pop-up with anti sway bars. After purchasing some new gear for the trailer, we finished our financing and we were off. The employees at Veurinks were incredibly nice and I would drive the three hours again to purchase from them. Definitely worth the drive.

Buyer Beware! I would rate them zero stars if I could…read more We purchased a used trailer from Camping World in Grand Rapids, and it was a huge mistake. By the time they finished adding fees, services, and extras, the final price was substantially higher than what we expected. If you're considering buying an RV here, I strongly recommend hiring an independent RV inspector before signing anything. Camping World claims they perform a thorough inspection on every used RV before selling it. Based on our experience, I don't believe that's true. Our problems started almost immediately. Issue #1: About a week before our first major camping trip, I went to extend the slide-out and discovered there was no power from the 12-volt system. The battery was completely dead. I bought and installed a new battery, which allowed me to extend the slide, but by the next day that battery was dead too. I had to manually retract the slide and tow the RV an hour back to Camping World. Their service department found loose wires in the 110-volt connection that prevented the battery from charging. This absolutely should have been caught during any legitimate pre-sale inspection. Issue #2: Once we arrived at our campsite, we discovered the water heater didn't work. Thankfully, we had purchased the extended warranty, so it was covered--but it still took three weeks to get authorization and complete the repair. During that same trip, the black tank dump valve became stuck open because debris had been left in the tank by the previous owner. Again, the extended warranty covered the repair, but it was another unnecessary hassle that should have been prevented before the RV was sold. We also purchased the ceramic coating package, which I consider a complete waste of money. I previously sold ceramic coating products for years, so I know how they should perform when properly applied. Camping World either does not apply the product correctly or, based on what I observed, may not apply it at all. Our RV was dirty when we picked it up, with black streaks still on the exterior. After washing it, water did not bead or sheet off the surface as it should with a properly applied ceramic coating. That raised serious questions about whether the coating had ever been applied. After our second camping trip, I noticed a repaired area on the camping side of the RV. There were obvious paint runs, and graphics that exist on the opposite side were missing. You could even see the outlines where the original decals had been. Camping World denied performing the repair, but it's concerning that this damage was never disclosed. What really left a bad impression was the sales process. While we were signing the loan paperwork, several employees walked by and commented things like, "Is that RV new? It looks brand new." They all knew it wasn't new because Camping World doesn't even sell this model new. It felt like a deliberate attempt to make us feel we were getting something newer than we actually were. I returned to the dealership to give them an opportunity to make things right. The sales manager simply told me that used units are sold "as is" and refused to address any of our concerns. We also spent a significant amount of money on accessories and upgrades in their store. After this experience, we will never purchase another RV or any products from Camping World again. We'll also be sharing our experience with friends, family, and anyone considering buying from them. Do your homework, have an independent inspection performed, and be extremely cautious before purchasing a used RV from Camping World.

They switched RVs on me -- and thought that I would not notice! First, they gave me a VIN to insure only to replace it with a DEFECTIVE unit afterwards. Diana Hopkins (the salesperson who helped us purchase our first RV), resigned a couple of weeks after selling us the defective RV. Josh Miller (the Financing guy) took $10,000 for a down payment only to ask for another $2,000 because they added all kinds of frivolous charges (i.e., Freight, Prep, Vehicle Service Contract, Paint Protection, Tire & Wheel Protection, Roof Protection, etc.). This is a SCAM, by the way and a lawsuit was filed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Gpx25pxdyo&t=1192s. To make matters worse, the Tire Pressure Management System (TPMS) was not working and they allowed me to drive off with underinflated tires! Very dangerous! The walkthrough was a joke (took less than 5 minutes!) and Josh Miller (the Financing Guy) was nowhere to be found -- because his job of screwing me over is done! The wheel alignment was not done properly with some kind of shady "alteration" and became a pointing-finger game between Thor Motor Coach and Ford Commercial! Three months later, the problem was still NOT FIXED -- instead recommended me to buy a "stabilizer" to help in the wobbly sensation of steering the RV! The gross part: the drain pipe for the blank and grey tank was set horizontally (instead of vertically) -- which resulted to a VERY MESSY and DISGUSTING experience -- as the fecal matters and "residue" are stuck in the hose once detached from the drain pipe. After the lengthy back-and-forth, hotel and rental car costs, not to mention the hefty price of almost losing my job because I had to beg my boss to allow me to work remotely (instead of being onsite in the state of Iowa), Camping World just "washed their hands" and pretended like I am "just another number" and would walk away quietly after they have screwed me over. The fresh water system appeared to be contaminated, with what looked like bug eggs in the water tanks, and the water coming out of the faucets had a terrible smell. The representative I spoke with was rude and unhelpful, and the woman at the front desk treated customers with very little respect.
